During the turbulent economic period, the hostility of the environment becomes a battle field between various departments competing for the available scarce. With the industry inundated with so many techno evangelists promoting various enablers and inhibitors targeted mainly for larger network, the challenge of having the right balance scorecard for competitive barebones infrastructure specification have made SMEs rotting. The Information Technology Infrastructure Library is much generalized and it is not focused on Malaysia's SME under unstable economic conditions. This paper reports two fibers optic sensors based on the angled-real object as reflective modulation. One is fiber-optic sensor with aluminum and the other is fiber-optic sensor with brass as the reflective medium. For aluminum, the highest sensitivity and resolution is obtained at 0.215 mV/° and 1.1 mrad, respectively. While, for brass as the real object, the highest sensitivity and is found to be 0.17 mV/° and the best resoluion at 0.8 mrad. The system proposed is developed using LABVIEW 8.6. This project consists of three stages. The first stage is hardware development, which involves construction of interface circuit to allow communication between plant and computer. The second stage is to build the Fuzzy Logic Controller using LABVIEW software, where fuzzy set and rule base are applied. The final stage is to publish the GUI module onto the web for real-time remote control. An internet based GUI module environment of a water bath temperature control system has successfully been developed using LABVIEW software and published onto the web where it can be fully controlled using Fuzzy Logic Controller developed, and monitored by any user despite of their geographical locations, as long as they have computers with web browsers and internet connection. Thus, this will assure a better and easier understanding of certain subjects, especially control system. It would occur according to the road limitations and the technologies used on road and intersections. Accordingly, the traffic flow is not being run properly (vehicles delay & traffic congestion) and reduces the throughput at the intersections. We are taking the opportunity of using Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) to overcome the road limitation resultants. We are proposing a system design with its protocol and set of algorithms to help balancing the road traffic load and make the driving on highways and urban cities roads more comfort. Initially, the system has five main devices which would co-operate together to provide safety, assistance, and comfort for the drivers. By applying this system on roads, we expect to see an easy traffic flow and more efficient and comfort driving. Chosen application results were obtained from simulation studies, are compared with our system to show the significance or the need for the proposed system and its protocol's control actions and strategies. In this paper, combination of two popular methods in image de-noising bilateral and anisotropic-diffusion filtering is investigated to reduce the noise in medical images, while preserving the clarity of images. The proposed method experimented on 23 MRI images. Compact fluorescent Lights (CFLs) were the initial substitute for incandescent bulbs, but certain characteristics of CFLs, light emitting diodes (LEDs) will be used dramatically in the next few years because of its low energy consumption and long life. This paper presents a survey of literature on the light (LEDs) as energy efficient light bulbs due to their high efficiency. The literature shows an increasing interest in this subject for the last decade, where the enhancement of LED lighting systems using various controllers has been widely investigated. Several technical issues related to thermal properties and LED array configurations have been highlighted. We first evaluate their respective efficiency level, and then set up an efficiency evaluation index system. Three indexes, saturation of left turn lane, average queuing length and average delay of signal control, are standardized by modeling and simulating. The AHP method is then applied to study the integrated index for U-turn evaluation on efficiency. After theoretical arithmetic and simulating, the result shows that Mode D shows a significant advantage considering efficiency factors in each condition. It contains information for human consumption as well as computer programs. A significant increase in the use of lexical databases has led WordNet to become one of the most widely used lexical information source for Natural Languages Processing (NLP) applications. This paper presents a methodology of constructing Myanmar WordNet lexical database from WordNet and Myanmar<->English Machine Readable Dictionaries (MRDs). This system consists of three phases which are (i) data extraction phase (ii) link analyzing phase and (iii) construction phase. In the data extraction phase, the lexical information is extracted from available resources. Then sets of candidate links between Myanmar words and synsets are derived from lexical information and that are verified for the lexical gap between two languages in the link analyzing phase. Finally, a set of the verified candidate link is used to automatically construct the Myanmar WordNet. For the past few years it has attracted many interests in the design and development of vibration based micro generators for low power electronic applications. The aim of this paper is to investigate on useful ambient vibration sources which would have great potential for the application of energy harvesting. Commonly the acceleration level of ambient vibration is low, in the range < 1 g-level. In this study, the vibration sources from industries (machinery), home appliances and moving vehicle are compiled and compared with suitable energy harvesters designed by other researchers.
