The two classes of junior students became the experimental and control group. After learning the five practical methods, the experimental group can produce better results than the control group. Each type of teaching practice, the so-called learning outcomes in this paper were evaluated in four levels: reaction, learning, behavior and result. The results showed that there were no significant differences between the two groups at the level of reaction and learning. At the behavioral level, in practice of play and creation, the experimental group was significantly better than the control group. However, there were no significant differences in the level of result. This result showed that the practice of play and creation are easier to show the teaching results, and the other types of practical teaching modes results require long-term study and observation.","PeriodicalId":379136,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 8th International Conference on Entrepreneurship and Business Management (ICEBM 2019) UNTAR","volume":"79 4","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-06-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114050408","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

One of them is the MSMEs of embroidery. One of the regions which produce the best embroidery product in West Sumatera is Pariaman; the product is the embroidery of gold thread. The problem with MSMEs of embroidery in general is in terms of capitalization. The purpose of this study was to analyze the implementation of financial inclusion in MSMEs of embroidery. The data were analyzed using SWOT analysis, Internal Factor Analysis Summary (IFAS), and External Factor Analysis Summary (EFAS). Based on the results of the Internal External (IE) matrix analysis, the position of the level of financial inclusion was in quadrant IV which pointed out that the internal environment was in a strong position while the external environment was in a moderate position. This position indicated that the level of financial inclusion in MSMEs of embroidery was in a state of grow and build. The strategy that can be applied is the Strength Opportunity (SO) strategy by maximizing the market power and taking into account the market opportunity. This strategy needs to be supported by financial institutions, both banks and non-banks, that provide capital assistance in accordance with the MSMEs sale system with low interest costs and People's Business Credit (PBC), and subsequently conduct intensive training and mentoring. The intensive mentoring is not only in terms of finance, but also in terms of marketing.","PeriodicalId":379136,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 8th International Conference on Entrepreneurship and Business Management (ICEBM 2019) UNTAR","volume":"3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-06-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121897677","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The food scenary in Kuala Lumpur is constantly changing, with new variants of business models being introduced frequently. Restaurants and food outlets need to adapt to this change in order to maintain sustainable competitive advantages, or bear the risk of being obsolete. One of the latest trends is online food delivery. Various industry players are competing among each other, especially in large cities. There have been many studies focusing on the service providers in the sharing economy and relevant consumer behavior, but little have researched from the perspective of the food outlets. This paper is established upon the Dynamic Capabilities Theory. Questionnaires were distributed to the top management of food outlets in Kuala Lumpur. Our findings indicated that business model innovation, firm characteristics and external collaboration were found to have positive impact on food outlet performance.","PeriodicalId":379136,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 8th International Conference on Entrepreneurship and Business Management (ICEBM 2019) UNTAR","volume":"30 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-06-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131273453","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, even though it is believed that Chinese companies will be the big winners from the Belt & Road Initiative, but non-Chinese companies are also increasingly seeing themselves benefiting from this Initiative. In order for Malaysia to gain benefits from BRI, it is important to explore the readiness of local SMEs to play an active role in this initiative. Hence, this study aimed to explore the perception of local Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) on the associated opportunities brought by the Belt & Road Initiative. The data collection method was an in-depth interview, in which SMEs in both manufacturing and service industries were interviewed. The interview results indicated that some Malaysian SMEs found that BRI imposes numerous challenges towards their business. Based on the results, the expansion of Chinese firms to Malaysia will increase market competition in some industries. However, this research findings revealed that local SMEs showed positive attitude towards this initiative, and they generally believe that this initiative will bring huge opportunities and abundant benefits to Malaysia at the country, organizational and individual levels.","PeriodicalId":379136,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 8th International Conference on Entrepreneurship and Business Management (ICEBM 2019) UNTAR","volume":"21 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-06-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128449951","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
