The implementation of discharge planning for patients in hospitals has generally not been well-executed, including providing limited education for home preparation and inadequate information related to health management. This results in ineffective discharge planning and a lack of continuity of care when the patient is at home. \u0000Objectives: This study aimed to determine the effect of structured discharge planning on home readiness in stroke patients in the hospital. \u0000Methods: This quantitative research employed a quasi-experimental design with pre- and post-test comparisons between groups. A simple random sampling technique was used, with 16 respondents in the intervention group and 16 in the control group. Data collection was conducted from April to June 2022. The Readiness for Hospital Discharge Scale (RHDS) questionnaire was used as the measuring instrument. Data analysis was carried out using a dependent t-test and an independent t-test. \u0000Results: The results indicated that structured discharge planning significantly affected the readiness to return home for stroke patients at Pasar Rebo Hospital Jakarta in both the intervention group (p-value 0.000) and the control group (p-value 0.000). \u0000Conclusion: It was concluded that there was no decrease in value from before to after the administration of structured discharge planning in both the intervention and control groups.

Knowing the level of patient satisfaction is very useful for related institutions to evaluate ongoing programs and identify areas needing improvement. The quality of hospital services consists of two aspects, meeting established quality standards and satisfying customer (patient) needs. Hospitals need to focus on providing services that prioritize customer satisfaction. To enhance the quality of healthcare services, it can begin with evaluating each element contributing to patient satisfaction. \u0000Objectives: The objective of this study is to assess the level of patient satisfaction in the Outpatient Department so that the hospital can conduct evaluations and improve services according to patient needs. \u0000Methods: This study is a quantitative research using a descriptive survey approach. The population in this study consists of patients in the outpatient department in September 2023, totaling 3,112 patients. The sample size was determined using Slovin's formula, and the calculated sample size for this study is 97 patients. \u0000Results: Patient satisfaction with tangibles was found 1% rated it as bad, 8% as poor, 30% as good, and 60% as excellent. Reliability was found that 2% rated it as bad, 9% as poor, 31% as good, and 58% as excellent. Responsiveness was found that 1% rated it as bad, 5% as poor, 32% as good, and 62% as excellent. Assurance was found that 1% rated it as bad, 5% as poor, 32% as good, and 62% as excellent. Empathy was found that 1% rated it as bad, 11% as poor, 30% as good, and 58% as excellent. \u0000Conclusion: Patient satisfaction regarding nursing care services rated as excellent in the Outpatient Department of Ali Sibroh Malisi Hospital, assessed across five dimensions-tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy-averages below 70%. One of the factors influencing repeated hospitalizations in patients with schizophrenia is the knowledge about schizophrenia and family support, which can lead to medication non-adherence. \u0000Methods: This study employs a cross-sectional approach with 129 participants who have a family member experiencing repeated hospitalizations or long-term patients diagnosed with schizophrenia at dr. Soeharto Heerdjan Psychiatric Hospital. The sampling data collection technique uses probability. Data were collecte using questionnaire with a reliability value for knowledge about schizophrenia (KASQ) of 0.945, informational support 0.935, assessment/award support 0.915, emotional 0.907, and medication adherence (MARS) 0.960. Bivariate data analysis using logistic regression and multivariate data using the multiple logistic regression test. \u0000Results: The research result showed that the majority of respondents had insufficient knowledge 47.3 % with a p-value of 0.000 that there was a significant relationship between family knowledge about schizophrenia and adherence to taking medication. Informational support is 66.7% lacking with a p-value 0.000 a significant relationship between infomational support and medication adherence. Support for assessment/reward is less that 78.3% with a p-value 0.000 that there is significant relationship between support for assessment/reward and adherence to taking medication. Instrumental support wasl 77.5% with a p-value 0.000 that there was a significant relationship between instrumental support and compliance with taking medication. Emotional support was less at 77.5% with a p-value 0.000 that there was significat reletionship between emotional support and compliance with taking medication. The dominant factor among families of patients diagnosed with schizophrenia experiencing repeated hospitalizations at dr. Soeharto Heerdjan Psychiatric Hospital was the variable of family informational support with an odds ratio of 32.003. This indicates that families with informational support are 32 times more likely to have repeated hospitalizations compared to families without informational support, after controlling for variables of knowledge about schizophrenia, family instrumental support, and family appraisal/esteem support. \u0000Conclusion: There is a relationship between knowledge about schizophrenia, informational support, appraisal/esteem support, instrumental support, and emotional support with medication adherence.

It is characterized by pain, erythema, swelling, induration, and sometimes fever. Phlebitis can lead to further complications or worsen the patient’s condition, potentially extending their hospital stay. Managing phlebitis can be achieved through both pharmacological and non-pharmacological therapies, such as the use of aloe vera gel. \u0000Objective: This study aims to identify the effect of aloe vera gel therapy on reducing the level of phlebitis in pediatric patients. \u0000Method: The research design used a quasi-experimental non-equivalent control group design or non-randomized control group pretest-posttest design. The population consists of pediatric patients with IV infusions. A purposive sampling technique was used to select 58 children as the research sample. Data collection was conducted using observation sheets and then processed and analyzed using data processing applications with open-source statistical computer software jamovi version 2.4.8. The analysis test used the Wilcoxon-W test. \u0000Results: The study results showed a standard deviation average decrease in phlebitis levels among pediatric patients. The analysis test results revealed a P-value of 0.001 < 0.05 with an effect size of 1.00, indicating that aloe vera gel therapy significantly reduces phlebitis in children. \u0000Conclusion: There is a significant effect of aloe vera gel therapy before and after administration in the intervention group, and a significant difference between the intervention and control groups after the administration of aloe vera gel. Such relationships come with competition, jealousy, anger, and even hatred. In Indonesia, almost 75% of children experience sibling rivalry in the age range of 3-5 years. Sibling rivalry can refer to a child's developmental stage that is so emotionally immature that the child doesn't know how to get attention or start games with their siblings. \u0000Objectives: The purpose of this study is to determine the factors contributing to Sibling Rivalry in preschool children. \u0000Methods: The research method used is quantitative with a Cross-Sectional Study design. This research has been conducted in Preschool, Lubuk Begalung District from 6 to 9 June 2022. The population in this study were mothers who had young children with the criteria of being willing to sign informed consent. The sample in this study was 55 respondents. Data were analyzed univariately in the form of frequency distribution and bivariate using the Chi-Square test. \u0000Results: Based on the research results, it was found that there is a contribution from parental attitudes, favoritism, and children's age gap which can trigger sibling rivalry, with details of all variables having a significant sign (p-value < 0.05). \u0000Conclusion: Parents are expected to show the same level of affection for their children, educate them according to their developmental stage, implement a combination of parenting patterns according to the child's needs, and determine an optimal pregnancy gap of more than two years between children. We encourage parents to motivate children to look for ways to make things better. Parents just need to give their children time to process their feelings before they can forgive their siblings because children can forgive more quickly. make peace with the situation, respect each other, defend your rights, and ask permission if you want to borrow something. It is hoped that future researchers will carry out further research using other methods such as conducting health education so that picker parents know more about sibling rivalry. Future researchers could explore how to manage emotions when conflict occurs between siblings.
