Although income inequality in Slovakia is among the lowest in Europe, there are regions in Slovakia where income inequality is high. The aim of the paper is to contribute to the expansion of knowledge in the area of income inequality in self-governing regions in the Slovak Republic. It is related to the crisis of representative democracy which manifests itself besides others by apathy toward various political activities. Innovative forms of participation represent one of the tools to mitigate the crisis and support a part of the population's interest in public affairs. The result of the research is the finding that online activism had an impact on the Slovak parliamentary election 2020 in terms of political awareness and in addition to traditional media, online campaigns had a significant mobilizing influence on voter turnout. In accordance with the Joint Action Plan adopted on 29 November 2015 as a result of negotiations, readmission agreement started to be fully implemented on 1 June 2016. The visa dialogue between the two parties, which was carried out depending on this agreement and a road map, was thus accelerated. The starting point of this study is basically the fact that the notion of village educators and village teachers are often confused with each other in the literature. This study aims to bring an end to this confusion and to examine the village institutes initiative from a more comprehensive perspective. As a result of this study, it has been revealed that studies conducted without considering the existence of two different village types in rural areas of Turkey would be misleading. In addition, it was stated that the concepts of village educator and village teacher should be accepted and examined in the historical process. However, the environment is constantly changing, and how maintaining the core competitiveness of higher education institutions in the changing environment has become a new problem. On the one hand, from a macro perspective, some known and unknown challenges and changes occur from time to time, such as climate change, social equality, and sustainability, etc., which make higher education institutions constantly adjust and update the mission and strategy of universities, thus find a smart role in an ever-changing environment. On the other hand, a higher education institution's research and output reflect its reputation and status. This paper aims to discover the barriers and challenges of technology transfer in higher education institutions and the relationship with stakeholders through literature analysis. Act No. 180/2013 Coll. in Section 4(3)(b) excludes the possibility for the district office in the region's seat to review and subsequently amend or annul a municipality's decision outside the appeal procedure, even if it was issued in the course of the delegated exercise of state administration. The Ministry considers this situation undesirable and seeks to correct it by a teleological interpretation of the norm or by the derogation rule lex specialis derogat legi generali. It thus contains a number of issues that provoke a wide-ranging discussion. The article is a contribution to the discussion of some serious problems of universities in Slovakia. One of the problems is the change in the financing of universities, the introduction of a system of periodic evaluation of scientific performance, or the reform of the system of internal management of universities. There is no doubt about the need to introduce a system of periodic evaluation of universities with the use of foreign evaluators. The criteria for evaluating the performance of higher education institutions raise doubts. The changes to the internal management system of higher education institutions indicated in the Recovery Plan limit the autonomy of higher education institutions. It is a digital environment that facilitates the relationship and the problem solving procedures between the Turkish citizens and their government. Citizens can subscribe with their identity number or TC kimlik numarasi using their mobile devices or computers in order to obtain diverse documents ranging from health care or student status verifications to real estate ownership certificates. Though the E-Devlet seems to be a magnificient invention for the ordinary people that lets them arrange these papers hasslefree, and this method is also widespread in the Western hemisphere, in the frame of a more and more centralized and authoritarian rule under the Muslim conservative AKP governments, it is feared to be a way of controlling the Turkish nationals. As the system is not only willing to serve the citizen but also tries to collect the maximum amount of data on them, the gathered information could be misused and turned against the taxpayers. The subject of the analysis are two legislative instruments. The first is the competence of the mayor to suspend the execution of the resolution adopted by the municipal council. The second option is the possibility of suspending the execution of the resolution on the basis of granting the suspensory effect granted to the administrative action in the matter of reviewing the legality of the resolution of the council under § 348 et seq. Administrative Judicial Code. In the context of these two tools, the author analyzes both institutes, having the same impact. Specifically, it examines Hungary's response to the migration crisis, including its efforts to restrict migration and tighten border controls, and the underlying motivations driving these measures. Additionally, it undertakes a critical analysis of the legal implications of Hungary's approach to migration, including the potential violations of EU law and human rights. The present article directs scholarly attention towards the contentious nature of Hungary's immigration and immigrant integration policies, undertaking law analysis thereof. The study concludes that Hungary's stance on migration poses a broader challenge to the EU's commitment to humanitarian principles and raises important questions about the future of migration policy within the Union.
