Previously, we have compared and analyzed several Rayleigh fading simulation models in terms accuracy and complexity. Some of these models are non-ergodic and their statistical properties vary from one simulation trial to another. Thus, a focus on the convergence behavior of such models is highly recommended which is missing in our previous works. In this paper, the first- and second-order statistical properties of seven of the most popular Rayleigh fading models are reviewed. The quality of the envelope probability density function (PDF) of the different models is evaluated using a more convenient quantitative measure. The convergence of the non-ergodic stochastic models is inspected based on the variances of the time-averaged correlation properties. The companies must be sure about future demands of electricity for uninterrupted efficient electrical supply. The demand of electricity is affected from weather conditions, process of economy, working and nonworking days of a year, etc. Therefore, forecasting demand by using current and historical data is very important for electricity trading and producing companies. In this study, a cloud-based forecasting service which is based on neural network model is proposed for long-term electricity demand forecasting of Turkey. Cloud based nature of the proposed system help continuous training and improved forecasting capability over time from the system. While direct optimization only exploits time consuming but accurate fine model, surrogate based optimization exploits less accurate but fast coarse model to reduce the overall computational effort. In this work, space mapping with inverse difference technique is applied to antenna design problem together with efficient 3-step modeling. The combination of two techniques provides less computational effort and better convergence through the accuracy improvement based on the new inverse 3-step modeling strategy. The inverse coarse model which is used for the parameter extraction process during the optimization is realized by knowledge based inverse 3-step modeling. Inverse 3-step coarse model is obtained by multi layer perceptron in MATLAB ANN toolbox. To aid with the task of reducing the continent's Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions alliances are being formed between local councils. The Western Alliance for Greenhouse Action (WAGA) is such an alliance formed by seven councils in Melbourne's west. One of the main goals of the alliance is the planning and development of hybrid renewable energy systems as environmentally friendly substitutes for the current coal-fired power stations, which at present supply the electricity consumed in the region. This paper presents the results of a study conducted to assess the solar electrical energy potential from identified commercial and industrial roofing within the alliance's municipalities. In this study, the analysis for the cities of Brimbank and Hobsons Bay is outlined. The proposed converter is based on the single ended primary inductance converter SEPIC topology. The SEPIC converters can operating from an input voltage that is greater or less than the output voltage. The proposed PFC uses only one active switch to PFC process together hoping higher PF and low THD. Besides the application cost is less than conventional bridgeless SEPIC PFC, in where two active switching devices are necessary. In order to verify the performance comparison between the proposed and the conventional SEPIC PFC, simulation circuit with 100W is install in PSIM. The simulation results are presented to demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed converters. This paper proposes a WPG units planning model to determine technology type, capacity and location of WPG units to reduce power losses and improve reliability and voltage profile in network. In this model, DNO has been considered to study the effect of demand response programs (DRP) on total cost function, where the time-of-use rates of demand response programs have been modeled and consequently its influence on load profile has been discussed. Objective function is a cost function which minimizes the investment and operation cost of DGs, purchase costs of the upstream network, defined cost to reliability index and the energy losses. These dual junction solar cells were fabricated from standard n-type Si (111) substrates with III-nitride epitaxial layers grown by plasma-assisted molecular beam epitaxy (PAMBE). Photovoltaic testing was experimentally carried out under a solar simulator before and after the 100nm-thick SiO2 passivation of these solar cell mesa side walls. We have found that the sidewall passivation improves the efficiency of these solar cells. The open-circuit voltage (VOC) increased from 1.45 to 1.53 V, the short-circuit current density (JSC) enhanced from 0.116 to 0.121 mA/cm2, the fill factor increased from 39.7 to 41.5% under the solar simulator illumination yielding 13.3% conversion efficiency improvement after passivation. A portable biomedical signal recorder is vital to detect symptoms such as encephalitis, epilepsy etc. With coming into our life of EEG signal recording system, the signal acquired from human with help of electrodes has pre-processed for amplification by use of AD620 which is an instrumentation amplifier. Amplified EEG signals have been transmitted into high pass, low pass and notch filters, respectively to eliminate noise which are surrounded from tissues of the body and interference from the nearby electrical sources in the analog circuitry. Then the signals are converted into digital signals by an ADC. Finally, we transmitted EEG signals to computer by using Arduino and a special software application is used to display the output signals on Processing interface program. In the proposed watermarking scheme, the cover image is decomposed to its sub-bands (LL, LH, HL and HH) by a common used frequency domain transform: DWT. Then, the SVD is directly applied to the all sub-bands of the decomposed cover image. The watermark is shuffled with Arnold's Cat Map (ACM) to generate a chaotic watermark. By this way, the robustness and perceptual invisibility of the scheme is improved. In order to evaluate the robustness of the proposed scheme, several image processing and geometric attacks are applied to the scheme. The Normalized correlation (NC) and peak signal-to-noise ratio (PSNR) measures are used to show the performance of the proposed method in terms of robustness and perceptual invisibility.
