La force de contestation, d’invention et d’imagination propre à la sorcière en fait une matière théâtrale féconde, propre à permettre un théâtre engagé et inventif, soucieux de réfuter les conventions esthétiques et les partitions traditionnelles, que ce soit entre personnages ou entre fonctions (technicien et acteur d’une part, auteur, acteur et metteur en scène d’autre part). La sorcière est aussi un objet de recherche, dense et vaste, dans le champ de l’histoire des idées et des femmes en particulier, qui ne vaut pas seulement en lui-même mais fournit un point de vue décalé et décentré sur une époque, sur des catégories ou encore sur des notions qui sembleraient aller de soi. 2 Créé en janvier 2018 et repris toute la saison 2018-2019, Le Monde renversé a été conçu et joué par un collectif de quatre femmes, Clara Bonnet, Marie-Ange Gagnaux, Aurélia Lüscher, Itto Medhaoui, qui ont cumulé tous les rôles : comédiennes, metteuses en scène et autrices. Le nom même du collectif s’est constitué au cours de cette création et est emblématique des enjeux critiques soulevés.
