The paper discusses the dynamic nature of piezoelectric sensor for measuring strain of structure. A method for low-frequency vibration measurement through dynamic strain measurement based on piezoelectric sensing is presented. The study involves theoretical analysis as well as experimental research on piezoelectric sensors response to dynamic strain. Dynamic response of piezoelectric sensor under different exciting frequency(from 0.1 Hz to 40 Hz)was tested, and experimental results with good precision were obtained. In order to solve this problem, we introduce the morphology to the pavement crack detection for the high-grade highway and propose a novel image processing method in this paper. The approached method reconstructs the median-filter algorithm with four structural elements to enhance the gray-scale pavement images, and combines the morphology-gradient operator with the morphology-close operator to extract the crack edges and fill the gaps of the cracks. After the above processing, the proposed method employs the improved morphology-erosion operator to thin the cracks and obtain the skeletons, and then gets the length and width of cracks by counting. Most of them can only achieve one or two dimensions' measurement. The research of accurate 3D magnetic field measurement system is introduced. The 3D magnetic field sensor is made by six Hall devices which are attached to six surfaces of a cube respectively. The output signals of Hall devices are amplified by differential amplifiers and send to data acquisition system. The influence of the surround temperature to Hall device's input resistance is compensated using voltage proportional method which is achieved by sampling the Hall sensor's output voltage and the voltage drop on the sampling resistance alternatively. The measurement result is calculated from the proportion of them, thus constant current source is no longer necessary for the measurement system. Experiments prove that the system's error is 0.5 percent. In the last decade, lightning location systems were based on electromagnetic radiation pulse and had high cost. Therefore, we develop a new approach which uses light and infrasound of lightning to accomplish the function of detection and location. Lightning location based on light and thunder, with the assistance of computer, becomes available because of the development of light activated element and the strong power of virtual instrument. The operating principles and software design of the lightning detection are given in this paper. Because of the cellular automata has the characteristics of simple regular structure, locality of information processing, and posses the complex dynamic properties, these make it more suitable for the high speed M-sequence generation method based on the cellular automata. The typical faults of guns are analyzed, and three indexes to represent guns performance are put forward and three working principles of guns are outlined. Virtual prototyping model of some-type gun is created by using ADAMS, and the validation is suggested by comparisons of simulation and test results. The degrees of guns faults affecting performance indexes are obtained based on relative sensitivity analysis, thus the comparison difficulty of fault parameters with different dimensions is solved, and the parametric thresholds of guns faults are achieved through virtual prototype according to firing limits of guns. When the specimen is measured with the method based on the differential confocal microscope, Gaussian source influences the output signal , as well as the measuring accuracy and resolution of the differential confocal microscope. In this paper, the principle of the differential confocal microscopy is introduced, and the optical transfer function of that is obtained according to the 3-D coherent image theory with a z-axial symmetric Lorentzian-Gaussian laser source. Considering both the size of the source and of the beam spot of Gaussian beam, their influences on the axial resolution are studied and calculated.
