This study also explains the current innovation of reference services in the sample library samples discussed. Examples of library reference services discussed are retrieving information on library pages at IPB, UPI and UNAIR libraries. The research method used is a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach by online observation by taking information on the library website page. The analysis was carried out using online observation on the library website which focuses on observation in the context of reference services. Furthermore, a comparison with social theory is carried out on three types of radical social change in the literature on young users of the digital era. The results in this paper are that these three types of changes can be used as a contextual analysis of the scope of young users or millennial users in determining policies on innovation implemented in library reference services. Information technology innovation by making reference service applications that run on desktop and mobile is one of the current innovations that are right on target and in accordance with current library users. Rahayu, Sobari Sobari","doi":"10.20961/JPI.V7I1.49295","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.20961/JPI.V7I1.49295","url":null,"abstract":"Bibliometric analysis was carried out on PARI journal for the period 2016-2020 with the aim of knowing: 1) The number of articles published; 2) Authorization pettern; 3) Degree of collaboration; 4) The gender of the author; 5) The most productive writer; 6) The gender of writer; 7) Author’s institution; 8) The city where the author works; 9) Research topics of interest. The data sources used is the PARI journal which is downloaded from http://ejournal-balitbang.kkp.go.id/ . The data recorded incuded articles, authors, agencies and cities of authors, and keywords. The were proceed using Microsof Exel 2010, and the results were presented in tabular form for discussion. The conclusion obtained is that during 2016-2020 as many as 75barticles were published, with the most articles written individually more (67 titles;89,33%), compare to article written in collaboration (8 titles; 10,67%), and the degree of collaboration is 0.11. A total of 22 female writers (57.89%) are more than 16 (14.11%) male writers. The most productive writer is Ketut Masiani who wrote 8 articles form Balai Besar Riset Budidaya Laut dan Penyuluh Pertanian, Buleleng Bali. Sekolah Usaha Perikanan Menengah Sorong is in the forst place (4;30,77%), for the category of academic institution. In the category of research institution it is known that Pusat Riset Kelautan Badan Riset dan Sumber Daya Manusia Kelautan dan Perikanan (27;43,54%). The library as an information provider unit always develops collections to meet the information needs of its users. As the development of science and information technology has an impact on the development of library collections with more complex information content which is a consideration in the development of library collections, the more challenging challenges of library selection as an effort to build a library collection that is strong and right on target for the user community. The method used in this study is descriptive in the form of literature review by taking secondary data obtained from several literature or literature studies (Research libraries) that are relevant in accordance with the problems discussed by reviewing and analyzing then described descriptively. The results of the discussion of this article are to show that library material selection is included as one of the important factors needed in the development of authority in library material selection at the college library. The provisions regarding the selection are regulated according to the type and structure of the library organization in question and are guided by the collection development policies and work procedures that have been set. With the selection of activities this helps the selector in choosing materials that will be used as library collections and becomes one of the activities that greatly determines the quantity and quality in developing collections in the library. Through this selection, it is expected that the collection of quality and relevant collections can be achieved according to the needs of the users. So if library material selection does not refer to the collection policy guidelines and work procedures that have been set, the quality in the development of collections in the library is not in accordance with user needs. collection. With the benefit of providing research solutions to do the selection collection in the library Al Izzah LPMI Batu City in East Java in overcoming obstacles faced about the selection of the collection. The type of research used in this study is a qualitative research technique of observation and interviews.Based on observations and interviews direct to the Library Manager Al Izzah LPMI stone town, East Java can be summed up as follows. First, the selection process for the collection activities (fiction) does not do any procurement of collection.
