The Laplace transform of the steady-state distribution of the buffer content is expressed through the minimal positive solution to a crucial quadratic equation. Then the performance measure—mean buffer content which is independent of the vacation parameter, is obtained. Finally, using some numerical examples, we present the parameter effect on the mean buffer content.","PeriodicalId":340471,"journal":{"name":"2010 Second International Conference on Information Technology and Computer Science","volume":"41 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-07-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126996093","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The further integration of applications in portal context is actually the problem of portlet interoperation. However, there is not yet a definitive answer to portlet interoperation. This paper focuses on using ontology to support portlet semantic interoperability based on new features of JSR268. The proposed approach maps the portlets to concepts in ontology, and then constructs semantic data associations between such concepts, and finally achieves portlet interoperation based on the data associations. Experimental results show that this proposed approach can achieve application integration in portal without modifications to the applications.","PeriodicalId":340471,"journal":{"name":"2010 Second International Conference on Information Technology and Computer Science","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-07-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128922838","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Complex programmable logic device (CPLD) was utilized to generate square waves with tunable frequency, the accurate delaying chip and logic circuit which are digital controlled were used to generate electrical pulses with adjustable pulse width. The pulses were amplified by the laser diode driver. The maximum output current of the driver can be up to 600 mA. When the signal was used to drive the semiconductor laser, the shape of the pulses generated by the laser is identical with the electrical pulses. The repetition rate and pulse width of the laser pulse can be continuously adjustable from 1 to 10 kHz and 3 to 20 ns, respectively. Furthermore, the time of rising and falling edges for the laser pulse were less than 2 ns.","PeriodicalId":340471,"journal":{"name":"2010 Second International Conference on Information Technology and Computer Science","volume":"2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-07-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127695002","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This kind of scuttle has a complicated geometrical shape and is difficult to be designed and built. To evaluate the mechanical behavior of this scuttle, the 3D finite element structural analysis was performed by using the software ANSYS. More concretely, the linear elastic static analysis, the elasto-plastic analysis and the buckling analysis were carried out respectively, under two load cases—the whole scuttle is full of coal, one half of the scuttle is full of coal and the other half of the scuttle is empty. The support reactions also were given so as to be capable of providing accurate loads applied on the top of the support beams of the scuttle. The results of calculating and analyzing show that this kind of oval steel coal scuttle is of the better mechanical behaviors and can ensure its running reliably. Further more, in order to be built conveniently and reduce the loss of steel plat as far as possible during blanking and processing, the unfolded drawings were generated automatically by the program written with the language Visual C++ under Object ARX in AutoCAD.","PeriodicalId":340471,"journal":{"name":"2010 Second International Conference on Information Technology and Computer Science","volume":"15 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-07-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115949955","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Languages based on Petri nets perform better when it comes to state-based workflow patterns. However, some patterns with complex semantic can not be described by Petri-net. C_net was proposed for improving Petri nets in expressiveness of complex data structure and computing method of data value. C_net extends the Petri-Net through adding some new elements and the corresponding mechanisms. C_net can be applied in workflow modeling. In this paper, we use V element and C relation of C_net for describing instance runtime data and complex relation of computing and communication. Soundness of an C_net can be converted to the analysis of throughness and well designedness. All workflow patterns can be directly described using C_net. This paper investigates the issue and introduces a collection of workflow patterns formalizations, each with a sound formal definition and execution semantics. An application example is also given which includes most workflow patterns. The formalizations can be used as a foundation for pattern-based workflow execution, reasoning, and simulation as well as a basis for future research on theoretical aspects of workflow.","PeriodicalId":340471,"journal":{"name":"2010 Second International Conference on Information Technology and Computer Science","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-07-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126102711","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
