Rarely is the hybrid option of using both techniques explored. Much research already exists concerning the identification and selection of custom hardware blocks from hardware/software partitioning techniques, but the question of how to best use this hardware within a user system where both coprocessors and datapath augmentations are possible remains. This paper looks to extend existing ISE algorithms which provide custom hardware as dataflow graphs (DFG) and place them appropriately within a hybrid System-on-Chip (SoC) using standard combinatorial optimization techniques. A combinatorial model is presented to address this placement issue and is applied to two well known kernel programs. However for this a good model of a greenhouse is needed. For a large variety of industrial or recreational greenhouses the derivation of a fully blown analytical model is not feasible and simplified models serve no practical purpose. Thus black-box modeling has to be applied. Identification (learning) of black-box models requires large amount of data from real greenhouse environments. After recording long time series of greenhouse measurements to serve its purpose the data has to be checked for validity. Measurement errors or missing values are common and must be eliminated to use the collected data efficiently as training samples for the greenhouse model. In this paper we present realization of LabVIEW virtual interactive DSP experiments and hardware DSP laboratory experiments on the NI-ELVIS II + development platform. These experiments can be used in the DSP lab for “visualization” of filtering concepts. For the purpose of “visualization”, LabVIEW filter palette has been used for the procedure of band pass digital filter design and active band pass filter has been realized on the NI-ELVIS II+ developing platform. The latter is a key point of the diabetes “closing the loop” problem and its primary prerequisite is a valid model able to describe the blood glucose system. Among the many models appeared in the literature, the model of Magni et al [9] is widely used and represents a relatively complex nonlinear model with glucose absorption as well as subcutaneous glucose and insulin dynamics incorporated into its structure. Our aim is to hide the nonlinearity of this model by transforming the signal coming from a linear controller so that the response of the model would mimic the behavior of a linear system, desirably the one acquired through steady-state linearization; hence the validity of linear controllers could be extended. The nonlinear method known as asymptotic tracking of a linear system and presented in [13], needs the values of the state variables; hence a Kalman-filter extended for nonlinear systems is used. These complex events result from a series of operations like grouping, aggregation, sorting, filtering, merging, splitting or duplication of events. In accordance with widespread opinions the hypothesis was that boys would better than girls. After the evaluation of the test results the correctness of this presumption has emerged. First the Kolmogorov-Smirnov-test was used to see if the groups showed standard normal distribution in answering the questions. The means of the correct answers by gender were examined using a Z-test with two parameters and the deviation quotient was to calculated revealing how much gender influences the difference of means. Significance level was 5% through the analysis. Huge differences exist regarding several characteristics of data, voice and video content traffics. While data traffic requires error free services, real time applications like interactive video transfer and VoIP distress of the high delay and jitter values. DiffServ becomes more and more popular Quality of Service (QoS) mechanism not only in WAN but LAN environment as well. Coloring the IP packets of different traffic streams based on QoS traffic classes generate increased diversification of the statistical characteristics detected at the measuring points of the production network. Self similarity, long range dependence and fractal characteristics of these packet flows are strongly influenced by the QoS parameters in congested network environment. Several models are proposed for the qualitative and quantitative evaluation of physical phenomenon supervened on different OSI layers at the intermediate nodes. Most of these claims relatively long traces to evaluate the scale independence and fractal characteristics. The wavelets based Multi Resolution Analysis (MRA) proposes fast pyramidal algorithm requiring ∼O(n) computation steps for determining the self similarity measure of the traces with n samples, consisting serious interest in the low delay aspect of the burst detection. In this paper several UDP and TCP traffics are considered and statistically analyzed based on MRA method. Along them, monitoring systems were developed in order to increase the quality of the provided services. The research areas in this field have split in two directions: monitoring systems for tracking the products from delivery source to final destination, including temporary storage information along the transportation path and monitoring systems designed to provide environment information during transportation. For some type of products (e.g. food) the quality of the product is highly dependent on the quality of the transportation conditions. This paper describes a monitoring concept based on a wireless sensors network used for environment characterization and product storage during transportation. This is considerable for wide range of projects, especially for the time-terminated ones. Beside standard network planning methods, such as CPM, PERT, PDM etc. there are variety of alternative methods, based on previous ones, which are used in order to obtain even better project duration evaluations. In these methods researchers includes simulation, fuzzy theory, genetic algorithms etc. This paper describes the approach in modification of shortest path search algorithms and their usage in project duration assessment.
