Problem Based Learning (PBL) might be the right tool that meets all of these criteria and is capable of enhancing entrepreneurial specific skills in line with current needs. The objective of this study is to identify the PBL indicator in entrepreneurial learning in order to produce technical entrepreneurs. A Modified Delphi Technique was used to identify the indicator of PBL. The Modified Delphi Technique process were two rounds of surveys to obtain the Range of Quartile (ROQ) for a decided level of consensus among experts by using a questionnaire instrument set. Experts involved are among 12 entrepreneurial lecturers from a higher institution. The PBL construct to be measured are the ability to apply information, teamwork skills, problem solving skills, decision making efficiency, knowledgeable entrepreneurs, stimulate critical thinking and communication skills. The findings showed that the experts agreed on a high level of consensus for all items under PBL indicators. Implementation of PBL as an active learning strategy in entrepreneurial learning has a suitable and significant effect on students to improve entrepreneurial skills. Therefore, it is important for educators to introduce PBL as it plays an important role in producing competitive and capable technical entrepreneurs in facing future challenges.","PeriodicalId":333260,"journal":{"name":"The International Journal of Academic Research in Business and Social Sciences","volume":"6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-03-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128035190","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Results of Kao cointegration report on the existence of long-run equilibrium in the relationship between economic growth and spending on military in all the countries. The FMOLS reports revealed a significant positive effect of military expenditure on economic growth of all four north Arab African countries (Libya, Egypt, Tunisia, Yemen and Iraq). For long-term Granger causality, this study adopted the panel vector error correction mechanism (P-VECM). Results indicated that in the long-term, not all countries have had Granger causality running from economic growth to military expenditure or vice-versa. The present research concludes that spending in the military division in the respective countries is in long-term not essential for the economic growth. While growth of GDP resulted in military expenditure in the short run, military expenditure does not show any short-term effect on the growth of GDP.","PeriodicalId":333260,"journal":{"name":"The International Journal of Academic Research in Business and Social Sciences","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-03-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126090847","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Specifically, in Malaysia, waqf zurri triggers issues and challenges which need to be catered together to guarantee the benefits which can be obtained from waqf zurri. Therefore, this study is to examine the connections of benevolence concept and social exchange theory in waqf zurri practices. This is a conceptual paper. Therefore, it is written based on the analysis of the Quran and hadith, followed by a review of literatures. The findings prove that the concept of benevolence can be achieved through the practice of waqf zurri and the adaptation of social exchange theory proving the occurrence of reciprocity between the practice of zurri waqf, the State Islamic Region Council (SIRC) and beneficiaries. This study is expected to encourage the participation of Muslims in Malaysia to practise waqf zurri as a way to strengthen family ties and to stabilize the economy of families and countries as well.","PeriodicalId":333260,"journal":{"name":"The International Journal of Academic Research in Business and Social Sciences","volume":"78 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-03-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122547616","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The data for this research is mainly collected from a semi-structured interview. This study is a descriptive qualitative study, aiming to have an in-depth analysis of interpretation. The analysis of the data is under the framework proposed by Andrew Gillies (2019). The findings revealed several factors that influence the quality of interpretation, such as techniques on taking note, quick response, culture elements & theoretical foundation. In order to respond quickly, the interpreters should make enough preparation, make quick decisions on word choice, practice more and keep constant learning. The findings have implications on the understanding of consecutive interpretation, which could offer some practical guidance for the prospective interpreters. Moreover, the findings of the study in consecutive interpretation will help enhance business negotiations and promote cross-culture communication.","PeriodicalId":333260,"journal":{"name":"The International Journal of Academic Research in Business and Social Sciences","volume":"254 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-03-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132183282","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

With the advents of more complex business environment and more complex employee anthropology, human resource has gradually evolved from being a technical focus to one of a strategic role. Modern human resource management more than ever assimilated into the strategic management level and at the forefront of momentously mobilizing organization change. This paper discusses the aspects of modern human resource management and proposes a framework on how this modern trajectory of human resource management is quantified holistically. This paper argues the previous notions of personnel management is inadequate as they are not designed to engender strategic partnership. Using a modified Ulrich’s framework, this paper proposes a synopsis of a more comprehensive an unbiased and balanced model of assessment.","PeriodicalId":333260,"journal":{"name":"The International Journal of Academic Research in Business and Social Sciences","volume":"65 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-03-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126277059","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
