The paper investigates the way of speed change by rotor voltage in steady-state and in transient. Although, there are available several sensorless control methods for DFIG, the paper deals with two popular methods. These methods are stator flux based model reference adaptive system (MRAS) observer and rotor position phase-locked-loop (PLL) method. The discussed sensorless control methods are designed and simulated in Matlab&Simulink. The performances of both sensorless control methods are analyzed with respect to standalone operation. This paper presents PI control of PMSM fed by a direct AC/AC matrix converter. We aim to obtain sinusoidal waveforms of currents in the output of the considered converter with the best static and dynamic performances of the PMSM. However, in wind turbines, the presence of the air gap flux harmonics gives rise to undesirable torque pulsation. These torque pulsations cause performance deterioration in high-performance drive applications. Conventional methods for torque linearization and decoupling we used in previous works are briefly reviewed such as non-linear mode with current control by hysteresis based techniques. In this work we introduce fuzzy-logic technique to solve this problem and proof its high efficiency in such applications. In the field of the drive of the electric machines, the elimination of the mechanical speed sensor can present an economic interest and improve safety of operation. One thus tries to make fulfill the speed measurement by implementing in a Digital signal processor (DSP) an algorithm of speed estimation using the current and voltage acquisition. Those methods become realizable on DSP of low costs. The goal of this work is to design, develop and implement of sensorless speed digital control of an electric motorization. The position and the mechanical speed of motor are calculated according to: observed rotor flux and the slip pulsation. This microwell array is used to evaluate cellular differentiation behavior by converting cell culture surface. The alginate thin film is used as a material that inhibits adhesion of cells. First, the coating method of alginate gel was developed. It is formed on a cell culture surface by spin-coating of sodium alginate solution and dipping into calcium chloride (CaCl2) solution. Also, it can be removed by alginate lyase at arbitrary timing during cell culture. We demonstrated the effect of the thickness of the alginate thin film on cell adhesion. As a result, the alginate thin film completely inhibited the adhesion of myoblasts to the culture surface regardless of the thickness. Also, the experiment of myoblasts differentiation was carried out using fabricated microwell array. The myoblasts making up the spheroids spread out onto the culture surface and cells concurrently proceeded to fuse by adhering culture surface with many adjacent cells. The fused and spread myoblasts differentiated and formed myotube cells by 244h of culture. Several issues relevant to the start-up procedure of DFIG and its synchronization with grid are considered. The regulations of the voltage induced on the stator winding, and of power flow into grid by adjusting the rotor current components through the back to back converters are presented. The normal operation of DFIG is examined by computer simulations and hardware implementations, several results obtained to explore the basic characteristic of DFIG are presented. The real experimental tests are performed using a hardware test setup with 500 kW, installed at the research laboratory of Istanbul Ulasim A.S. Company.
