When choosing their professional future the university entrants take into consideration the specialties included into the education standards and not the posts. Thus, there is no relationship between the consumer’s choice and the needs of the business. The paper proposes an instrument enabling an entrant to make a rational choice of the future profession according to the needs of the labor market. From the point of view of rationality, low educational pragmatism of a person results from incorrectly posed purposes and chosen methods for their realization. The identification of the person’s educational needs and the employer’s needs for personnel revealed a multifold excess of the number of posts and staff positions in comparison with the number of specialties. Understanding the importance of studying foreign languages has been confirmed by a number of normative documents. The curricula of seven leading universities of Ukraine training electrical engineering students have been analysed. The recommended time for studying foreign languages and the study load at Ukrainian universities differ significantly. The content analysis of existing English language coursebooks and textbooks for engineers, electricians, electrical and power engineers has been conducted to find out the content of foreign language training. The procedure of formulating the state equations for circuit is not based on the topology concept but on knowledge, that if the values of state variables are known at a certain time instant and the values of input variables thereafter, then the value of any state variable can be determined for any subsequent time. The tool formulates state equations automatically in a symbolic form without numerical values of elements for given circuit. The system is developed with two induction generators (IGs) connected to variable speed wind turbines (WTs). With the aim to concentrate the IGs power flow control in one unit and reduce the installed in WT gondola equipment weight a single static compensator (STATCOM) outside WTs is used. Based on the vector control technique the IGs power flow controller is proposed. The expediency of using the model organism Daphnia magna Straus for the determination of the level of negative influence of electromagnetic radiation is proved. An express method for evaluating the impact of this stress factor is described, and the results of experimental studies of its harmful effects on the test object are presented. The stimulating, suppressing and lethal doses of electromagnetic pollution for the test object are determined. A new method for the operative determination of electromagnetic pollution levels in the nature reserve fund territories within a city has been tested. Factors that significantly influence the assessment of investment profitability are described. In the article, the authors presented the results of simulation of investment profitability in a micro PV installation with a capacity of 50kW. The profitability analysis was carried out using two methods: DCF (Discounted Cash Flow) and IRR (Internal Rate of Return). The DCF method allows for the market calculation of the investment value under the assumed conditions and the discount rate. The correlation function obtained by choosing the spectral density of the Kaimal model was the main characteristic of modeling turbulent wind flow. A model of a wind power plant based on doubly fed induction generator has been developed in Simulink as a source of voltage distortion and voltage fluctuations.
