Machine learning (ML) has been widely recognized as an effective method for data based intrusion detection analysis. Especially, semi-supervised ML approaches apply both labelled and unlabelled data to train the detection model, which can avoid the high cost of labelling data. In this paper, we propose an effective semi-supervised ML framework for intrusion detection. Specifically, the framework adopts Laplacian Support Vector Machine (LapSVM) as its training model and uses information gain based feature selection method to improve the performance. The 2-dimentional dyadic Green function integration method was generalized to calculate the impedance change of the exciting coil caused by a PMBL. The impedance change was a global variable, which came from not only the pattern beneath the exciting coil, but also its neighbor patterns. It was named as the inter-pattern interference (IPI). The IPI was investigated. According to the IPI, the interval between patterns, the interval between slots and the maximum pattern width were given. These predictions had been proven quite reliable by simulations. In the scheme, on the one hand, we consider the mutual information as the factor of selecting monitor nodes according to the topological position of the node. On the other hand, the energy consumption of the node is calculated according to the node's energy consumption model, and we consider the residual energy as the factor of selecting monitor nodes. Finally, we consider the mutual information and the residual energy synthetically to calculate the weight of the node by entropy weight method, so as to select monitor nodes. In this paper, we analyze the fidelity of polarization state travelling through a non-Markovian optical fiber depolarizing quantum channel with color noise environment. The quantum bit error rate (QBER) of a polarization coding BB84 quantum key distribution (QKD) system under non-Markovian depolarizing channel is also discussed. Analysis results show that there are several security regions caused by the fluctuation of QBER in such a non-Markovian channel. The emergence of Software Defined Networking (SDN) provides a solution for this problem. Due to the handiness of a centralized controller, SDN has provided an effective method in terms of routing computation and fine control over data packets. Due to the increase in unpredicted failures taking place the ability to predict/know the approximate maximum time it takes for these networks to converge in order to avoid and/or minimize loss of packets/data during these failures has become crucial in today's world. This time that the routers in the network take to converge via the implemented routing protocol and resume communication or transfer of information is called the routing convergence time. In this work, the performance is measured using routing convergence time during link failure with respect to the topology scale to show that SDN routing/forwarding is better compared to conventional routing. But, in the case of Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) cloud platform, either over provisioning or under-provisioning of resources becomes a challenging issue for time constraint applications. An accurate modeling of cloud centers is not feasible due to the nature of cloud centers and diversity of user requests. We present an analytical model to estimate the performance of the cloud center for deadline sensitive tasks. Many works have tried to propose better caching schemes to solve the drawbacks of the default en-route scheme, but most of them are insufficient to improve performance of entire network for just considering single layer optimization factor. Also considering that the network exists to serve its users, user-centric performance metrics, in particular the download delay, are equally important as the common metrics such as cache hit rate in performance evaluation. And approaches designed with congestion-sensitive download delay in mind can obtain better performance and user experience. In this paper, we propose and evaluate a novel Link Congestion and lifetime Based In-Networking Caching Schemes (LCLCS), which takes fully account of link congestion, Betweenness centrality and content popularity, aiming to observably optimize network delay and maintain acceptable cache rate. In this paper, a time-stamping approach using field-programmable gate array (FPGA) is introduced which is applied to Reference broadcast synchronization (RBS). Then, Dynamic Adjusting Time Synchronization (DATS) protocol is proposed which enables the clock compensation to approach the optimal compensation continuously through dynamic adjustment and enables the node to make quick response to external environmental changes. Based on the sentiments and opinions available, developing a recommendation system is an interesting concept, which includes strategies that combine the small text content with prior knowledge. In this paper, we explore a new application of Recursive Neural Networks (RNN) with deep learning system for sentiment analysis of reviews. The proposed RNN-based Deep-learning Sentiment Analysis (RDSA) recommends the places that are near to the user's current location by analyzing the different reviews and consequently computing the score grounded on it. Deep Learning is used to optimize the recommendations depending on the sentiment analysis performed on the different reviews, which are taken from different social networking sites.
