Under article 59 of Qanoon-e-Shahadat Order 1984, a psychologist can be an expert and his expert opinion is admissible in the court subject to the criteria laid down by this article. The scope of this paper is limited to the expert witness and expert opinion of psychologists in the form of evidence in criminal matters in the courts in Pakistan. The courts in Pakistan consider the testimony of psychologists as admissible when relevant. However, the probative value of the evidence presented by a psychologist depends upon his relevant qualification and the psychological methods applied in a particular case. The findings of this article have implications for psychologists, psychiatrists, jurists, judges, and lawyers.","PeriodicalId":305544,"journal":{"name":"Global Sociological Review","volume":"54 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121570619","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This research shows how Afro-Afro-American continues to live in contemporary white supremacist America where they cannot escape from the clutches of occupational discrimination and gender pay disparity. Compared to any other field, black women are more likely to work in low-paid sectors including food service, housekeeping, and healthcare centers, and less likely to hold management or engineering roles, which tend to pay greater. Black mothers who earn less have little money for basic needs like accommodation, food, and education. This has a long-term effect on their property, higher education, or savings. The current factors affecting the wages of black women are racial and gender discrimination, workplace harassment, segregation, and hostile policies of different organizations.","PeriodicalId":305544,"journal":{"name":"Global Sociological Review","volume":"10 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121187592","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The pace in bridging this gap between men and women is too slow to accomplish the task of gender equality; it will take decades and centuries. Although various steps has been taken and are being adopted across the globe yet gender discrimination of women is appalling in statistics e.g. in Baluchistan; a province of Pakistan literacy rate for girls is only 27%. Women in no way different or weak from men; she can play significant role in sociopolitical and economic contribution to the society, state or world. CPEC is perceived as \"game-changer\" despite being in its early stages. Previous research has taken into consideration both macro and micro level benefits of CPEC, but they have primarily been conceptually oriented. This study covers the knowledge gap by investigating the possible advantages of CPEC for Pakistani locals and how it is complimenting Sustainable Development Goals. We used the questionnaire method and face to face interview approach to conduct valuable information for the research. The results demonstrate that residents believe their social lives have significantly improved because of the development of CPEC. To maximize the benefits of CPEC, this research suggests the authorities and stakeholders of the project to enhance its involvement in the education, economic and industrial sectors.","PeriodicalId":305544,"journal":{"name":"Global Sociological Review","volume":"45 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131122099","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The 300 female players who participated consisted of 150 badminton female players and 150 volleyball female players chosen within the age range of 16 to 21 years where M=18.5 and SD=1.87. This empirical research was delimited to the teams of women colleges of District Sargodha who took part in the Sports Events 2015-2016 of PASBAN (Pakistan Army Sports Base Achievement Network) which were held in the District Sargodha. The comparison of the level of their pre-competitive anxiety in two different games was performed with the help of Revised Competitive State Anxiety Invertory-2(CSAI-2R). The method of inferential statistics is performed on the collected data with the help of Independent Samples t/test for getting the desired result. The result depicts that no major variation is found in the level of pre-competitive somatic anxiety of the inter-collegiate female badminton and volleyball players. However, the outcome demonstrated that the level of anxiety in the girls who played badminton is higher than the girls who played volleyball. Overall, the outcome of this research will be beneficial for the athletes, other researchers, and coaches of badminton and volleyball because of the detailed review of the complex idea of competitive sport anxiety, and compared the badminton and volleyball girl players’ somatic state of anxiety.","PeriodicalId":305544,"journal":{"name":"Global Sociological Review","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-09-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130570120","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
