The areas for improving international cooperation to ensure the security of the Internet are proposed. Digitized society is being implemented around the world at a high rate and offers significant benefits for the development of both society as a whole and its individual components. At the same time, a factor that has a negative impact on this development is cybercrime. The article explores the current state and main trends of cybercrime, including its organized forms. Throughout these years, Palestinians from the Gaza Strip have endured three Israeli military operations inside a besieged territory and have seen their lives becoming increasingly hard to bear. Moreover, to contain 2 million people inside a 365 km² enclave, Israel has received continuous support from Egypt. Hence, the article's focus is the Egyptian-Israeli relationship from 1981 to 2017, the Gaza Strip siege, the Hamas governance and how the asymmetric relations between Egypt and Israel with Gaza and its inhabitants materialise. Furthermore, due to events such as the peace treaties signed between Israel with United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Morocco and Sudan, Israel's refusal to let Covid-19 vaccines entering the Gaza Strip and the election of Israel's new coalition government, the topics examined in this article are increasingly relevant. © 2022, Observare. Leandro","doi":"10.26619/1647-7251.14.1.10","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.26619/1647-7251.14.1.10","url":null,"abstract":"The Republic of Equatorial Guinea (EG) joined the Forum for Economic and Trade Cooperation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Forum Macao) in 2022, becoming the tenth member-state. This occurred during the 2022 Extraordinary Ministerial Conference, after it acceded to the Community of Portuguese-Speaking Countries (CPLP) in 2014. Since 2015, China and EG have been intensifying their bilateral cooperation after establishing a comprehensive cooperative partnership (Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China, 2015). In 2019, the two countries signed a Belt and Road Initiative (B&RI) MoU during the second Belt and Road Forum in Beijing, and initiated a strategic approach for bilateral cooperation. Consequently, considering the uniqueness of EG as a Portuguese-speaking Country (PSC) and as the newest member of Forum Macao, this paper poses and answers the following research question: What will be the impact of Sino-Equatoguinean cooperation in light of EG’s recent accession to FM?
