It is noted that the ethnocultural self-identification, the revival of the traditions of the past should not be carried out without their deep scientific understanding, which includes the research of literary critics. Nenets writers and poets reflected diverse social reality, highlighted the tragedy of a person in transition. On the basis of the contextual analysis of the works of Nenets authors, the development of the folklore, epos and ethnographic material the article reveals the originality of ideological attitudes, the symbols of the actions of heroes, features of a national character. The study conducted a search for an answer to the question of what rituals are the customs and traditions of the people due to such binary oppositions as humility / aggression, kindness / cruelty, perseverance (persistence) / pliability (pliability, gentleness)? An explanation of the negative behavior of the heroes of the novels by Vasily Ledkov, the short novels by Anna Nerkagi and other Nenets authors is found through the approach to understanding the nature of violence proposed in the works of the French scientist Rene Girard. The study used historical, cultural, psychological, social, comparative methods. Examples from works of the Khanty, Nenets and Dolgan literatures are presented.","PeriodicalId":290942,"journal":{"name":"Issues of Ethnopolitics","volume":"91 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125172444","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The scientific novelty of the research lies in the conceptual generalization of new problems, challenges and risks of constructing the concept of “nation-build- ing”, which require fundamental theoretical understanding within the framework of domestic ethnopolitical science. The article uses an interdisciplinary methodology in the development of the socio-political concept of “nation-building”. The use of socio-cultural analysis made it possible to adapt the concept of “nation-building” to Russian political traditions and values. Comparative political analysis allowed us to compare domestic and foreign approaches to the formation of nation-building. The sys- tematic method revealed the structural elements of the state policy of nation- building in Russia.The result of the research is the proposed socio-political concept, which depends on the role of the state and the challenges of modernity in the Russian ethno-political process and the formation of a civil nation.","PeriodicalId":290942,"journal":{"name":"Issues of Ethnopolitics","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129668109","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The most dynamic thematic ar- eas include the humanitarian issues of the development of the Russian North. The research focuses on the assessment of the peculiarities of the formation and reproduction of human capital in the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation the development of the creative and intellectual potential of Russian polar cities. The author notes that research into the social well-being of the population of the Rus- sian Northern regions has become an important direction of research work carried out over the past decades. In studies of the social well-being of the inhabitant of the Arctic region, the authors problematize the key “zones of disadvantage” in the system of assessing the population, and, first of all, the issues of protection from those social dangers that the population find for itself. Summarizing the state of the Arctic research, the author proposes to move away from overly localized coverage of Arctic problems. Large-scale sociological works, which, in our opin- ion, have a certain substantial scientific potential, provided that they are fully implemented, it seems, are now at the stage of their theoretical conceptualization and methodological search.","PeriodicalId":290942,"journal":{"name":"Issues of Ethnopolitics","volume":"10 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126662919","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The industrial development of Siberian territories creates a threat of destruction of traditional forms of economic management. This makes this problem actual. The empirical material is the results of an expert survey conducted on the territory of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug – Yugra. It is concluded that a regula- tory and legal framework has been created in the region to ensure the interests of indigenous peoples. However, it only creates an opportunity to protect their interests. This opportunity can be fully realized through the activities of political institutions. Today, public organizations of the indigenous peoples themselves are effectively working. They enjoy the trust of the indigenous population and protect not only the rights of Aboriginal people to traditional forms of farming, but also their socio-economic interests in general. However, the capabilities of these organizations are rather limited. For example, small indigenous peoples, due to their small number, do not have the opportunity to conduct “their” deputies to representative bodies of power. At the same time, the role of other actors – political organizations, mass media, ombudsmen – is insignificant. Expanding the range of political institutions involved in protecting the rights of the indigenous peoples of the North is the main condition for the successful solution of this task.","PeriodicalId":290942,"journal":{"name":"Issues of Ethnopolitics","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126011000","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The main source of information for the work has been series of surveys conducted in 2017–2019. The purpose of the article is the analysis of language policy in these republics. It is shown that republican models of ethnopolitics are not based on the principles of law and on the common interests of republican communities. Such a practice inevitably generates conflicts, including these in the linguistic sphere. Meanwhile, need of a policy of civic integration and of more effective educational practices has been formed in the republican communities.","PeriodicalId":290942,"journal":{"name":"Issues of Ethnopolitics","volume":"90 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133790571","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The author substantiates the inadmissibility of extremes in their assessment, associated with underestimation or overestimation of one of these factors. It is proved that the influence of religion on ethno-social processes in certain spheres is manifested with varying degrees of intensity. Religious influence is least noticeable in the financial and economic sphere, since it mainly operates universal and national mechanisms. Some ways of optimizing confessional ethnic and social interaction at the present stage are listed. The author studies the complex socio-political and spiritual situation in the recent past and examines some negative consequences of the activities of radical religious and political movement and organizations in the republics of the North Caucasus.","PeriodicalId":290942,"journal":{"name":"Issues of Ethnopolitics","volume":"7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132706024","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
