The presence of a large number of enclaves consisting of immigrants violates stability in countries, inhibits the socio-economic development of societies and poses a threat to national security. In this regard, countering enclaves consisting of immigrants is an important state task that requires theoretical un- derstanding. In the article by the author: the reasons for the growth of migrant enclaves are analyzed; the main threats posed by such enclaves are outlined; theoretical provisions on migrant enclaves were developed; the author’s typology of migrant enclaves is presented; a methodological approach has been developed to counter the lifestyle of migrants in enclaves. The work is conceptually applied in nature, contains author’s recommendations to the authorized state bodies of the Russian Federation and local authorities on state regulation of the residence of migrants in enclaves.","PeriodicalId":290942,"journal":{"name":"Issues of Ethnopolitics","volume":"7 9","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132973529","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Muslim globalization has become a key characteristic of this transformation. This general trend set the framework within which the fol- lowing processes developed, which predetermined not only the change in the institutional and political characteristics of local Islam, but also the nature of state-Islamic relations in Dagestan. These processes were expressed in the fol- lowing: internationalization of Dagestani Islam, which developed in the form of active international contacts of local Muslims; the emergence of network forms of international between believing youth; the transformation of the “fight against terrorism” into an element of the political and civil life of the Republic. The indicated dynamics has led to the fact that a multi-subject system of the politicization of Islam has developed in the republic. The most important char- acteristic of the Islam-political transformation of Dagestan can be considered the evolution from religious and political confrontation to the complication of Islamic and political relations in the context of the “globalization” of the Rus- sian Muslim community.","PeriodicalId":290942,"journal":{"name":"Issues of Ethnopolitics","volume":"14 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114617594","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The main souses of information for the work are the series of surveys conducted in 2017–2019 in the national republics of the Russian Federation carries out as a part of the program developed by the IEA RAS (or by analogy with it). The object of the study is the Udmurt Republic, as long as recent events and previous observations turned the region into a model “training ground” for studying ethnocultural and ethnopolitical processes in republics with a Finno-Ugric population. Previously, we have summarized some of the prior observations in numerous publications, including the multivolume series “The Phenomenon of Udmurtia”. The results of the recent studies are closely correlated with the data of previous sociological surveys. Thus we are able to define and to access the main trends of ethnocultural and ethnopolitical processes that take place in the Republic as well as in the other subjects of the Russian Federation, where Finno-Ugric peoples live. The analysis of the ethno-political situation in the republic shows that the demand for integration policy in the republican community is more than obvious. But the policy of civic integration needs to be activated, because so far it does not have a significant impact on public sentiment.","PeriodicalId":290942,"journal":{"name":"Issues of Ethnopolitics","volume":"66 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126032544","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The problem of developing effective territory brands and possible mechanisms of their solution is discussed. The article focuses on the fact that at the moment, when developing territory brands, as a rule, aesthetic criteria prevail over economic ones, which suggests that customers more often need a quick and superficial result, rather than the real development of the territory. Special attention is paid to the effectiveness of the developed brands, as this very aspect usually “falls out” of the attention of customers and developers. The scientific novelty of the research is that one of the methods to find out the reasons for the insufficient development of the territory by the authors is the study of migration flows, as they clearly demonstrate the desire (or unwilling- ness) of the territory’s population to participate in its development. It is noted that the currently dominant gravitational model of migratory flows formation is clearly outdated and needs to be replaced by a new one that reveals more deeply the mechanism of migration processes. The result of the study is a proposed mechanism for taking into account the indicators of migratory flows to manage the brand of territories, and the conclu- sion is that in today’s conditions of special importance is a competent and timely information about the pros and cons of each territory, which requires the inflow of a certain number of new residents and the retention of the population of indig- enous peoples. Branding is one of the most effective tools for such information.","PeriodicalId":290942,"journal":{"name":"Issues of Ethnopolitics","volume":"33 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116589269","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
