We first make brief introduction on BP network and SVR, then give the specific boosting regression algorithm with theoretical analysis. In the experiment, we use a time series data of wind-speed from a coal mine as a training set to verify the efficiency of our proposed method. The experiment results show that boosting regression gain better performance on test training and generaliz ation.","PeriodicalId":288854,"journal":{"name":"2014 IEEE Workshop on Advanced Research and Technology in Industry Applications (WARTIA)","volume":"34 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-12-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116281975","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To minimize the phase noise of the oscillator, a high Q-factor tunable dielectric cavity resonator operating in the TE011 mode is designed. Analytical equations are derived to determine the resonant frequency of the cavity resonator. The calculated results and simulated ones by HFSS software are in agreement within 2 percent. A tuning metallic lead with threads is used to tune the first TE011 mode resonant frequency of the cavity resonator and move the spurious HE111 mode resonant frequency farther without significantly affecting the Q-factor. 13.5dB gain two stage low noise amplifier which offers a circular power 6dBm is designed to sustain the oscillator closed-loop loss. In order to occur oscillating, a mechanically tunable phase shifter is also applied. Phase noise levels of -112dBc/Hz and -136dBc/Hz are obtained at offset frequencies of 10 and 100 kHz in practical oscillator noise measurement.","PeriodicalId":288854,"journal":{"name":"2014 IEEE Workshop on Advanced Research and Technology in Industry Applications (WARTIA)","volume":"29 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-12-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114761273","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Different from the state-of-art methods such as traceroute-like active probing, network tomography and network protocols analysis based passive measurement, this work proposes a novel method to estimate the network hidden topology using time to live (TTL) values extracted from IP packets. TTL contains the information about hops of the forward paths which can be fused to reconstruct the topology. The proposed estimating algorithm is described and its performance is illustrated using topology simulation data. Experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of the newly developed technique.","PeriodicalId":288854,"journal":{"name":"2014 IEEE Workshop on Advanced Research and Technology in Industry Applications (WARTIA)","volume":"51 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-12-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125631960","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The entire circuit design is based on the principle of capacitance-frequency-voltage conversion. The CD4046 digital phase-locked loop (Fairchild Semiconductor) was used for the circuit implementation since it offers approximately 1% linearity, which is suitable for most applications [1]. The functional sensor material used was Polyvinylidene Fluoride (PVDF) and this was mixed with 7wt.% Ethyl Cellulose and 1wt.% Lecithin. Terpinol-α was used as the solvent to form the thick film paste. The circuit sensitivity has been tested with the developed thick film sensor in terms of output circuit voltage versus capacitance change. It was found that the developed circuit has lower power consumption when compared to standard frequency-to-voltage converter configurations.","PeriodicalId":288854,"journal":{"name":"2014 IEEE Workshop on Advanced Research and Technology in Industry Applications (WARTIA)","volume":"46 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-12-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124827221","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The bandgaps are modified when the thin plates are replaced by the tubes, leading to the TE-optical switch function. The switch has been designed and studied by the plane-wave and finite-difference time-domain simulations. For the TE-optical switch, the extinction coefficients reach to -17dB, -30dB, and -38dB, respectively. Method: After moulding, we measure the perimeters of the right rear leg of every group rats and record them. Meanwhile, we process the Symptom Integral. We give suitable medicine to every group rats once a day in five days, and keep the medicine adhere to skin in two hours. After moulding, in the period of feed and cure, observe the swelling, ecchymosis and such symptoms, and record the perimeters and symptom integral every two days. In the sixth day of applying medicine, extract blood in the eyeball and examine it by hemorheology, and Pathological observation of the tissue. Result :The injure symptom integral and premier of right rear legs of every group rats with different dose of Semen Euphorbiae are decreased obviously. The indicators of hemorheology can reduce the blood stasis, and make the squamous epithelium in skin and cuticular layer to keep normal, and the subcutaneous tissue edema recovers.
