The short attention span and lack of focus in many students is one of the factors which requires attention of e-learning course designers. Visually enhanced and dynamic e-learning courses proved to be more effective in keeping the attention of the students. In this paper, a framework for designing visually enhanced e-learning environments using deep cross-medium matching is proposed. The proposed framework uses deep neural networks for matching the textual and visual information together in order to suggest dynamic visual content for the textual e-learning materials. E-learning environments are gradually replacing traditional educational institutions. The health issues resulting from students’ lack of activity will increase with popularity of e-learning courses. Therefore, considering health issues in designing the e-learning environment is critical. Machine learning algorithms are able to diagnose many health issues automatically. In this paper, a machine learning based e-school-nurse which can take the role of the traditional human school nurse in the e-learning environment is proposed. The proposed enurse can automatically diagnose health problems of students and design a personalized health centered e-learning curriculum for them. As a case study, the deep neural networks are used for automatic profiling of students with diabetes. Based on the student diabetes profile a personalized curriculum is designed for the students which includes physical activity and a healthy diet at appropriate intervals during the study. On the other hand, advances in network technologies has led to a new level of communication known as Internet Of Things (IOT) where every device is connected to the network, therefore all objects can communicate with each other. This has driven e-Learning to a whole new level as traditional approaches are no longer efficient. This paper discusses IOT based e-Learning in different aspects. Benefits of IOT in e-Learning are acknowledged along with the importance and necessity of IOT in this matter. Current challenges and possible solutions are discussed. It is concluded that in upcoming future IOT is the answer to adopting new technological advances in e-Learning. The tools used in this educational experience are software including Geogebra and 3D Builder, videos about the real-life uses of geometric concepts, the PDF files of textbooks and the school’s smart facilities. For this purpose, the above tools were presented to 10th grade geometry class, based on educational content and the students’ requirements. In this study, 70 students (includes two 35member classes) where involved whom studied mathematics in a public high school in Tehran’s 3rd District in 2017 and 2018. This experience suggests that the use of electronic tools leads to a better learning process throughout the course. It is a good method to enrich textbook content and offers more accurate illustrations of geometric concepts for students. Repetition and further interaction in this regard are the basis for strengthening the visual thinking of students. In addition, it provides appropriate supplementary content for the use of other students, teachers and even textbook authors. That means using e-learning (web-based), cloud-media capabilities, digital content production, and online teaching methods using the latest hardware and software. The research method was descriptive and collected by library resources. Related researches show that in our country, the use of e-learning based learning centers has not been implemented in the form of legal policies. For this reason, the amount of academic loss in the educational environment of the country is more than 10% and the cost of basic repetition is more than a thousand billion rials. Also, job seek graduates make the difference between classical and formal education and community needs. MOOCs have opened up new horizons for higher education, lifelong learning, and professional development because of being open, online, and massive and for facilitating access to education. However, there are major challenges to the quality of instruction provided by MOOCs. The present research was, therefore, an attempt to identify the criteria for the assessment of MOOCs. To this end, first the systematic review approach was used with several keywords namely \"MOOC education quality\", \"MOOC success factors\", and \"MOOC opportunities\" to search the Science Direct, Springer, Wiley, Google Scholar, and ERIC databases for three months. After filtering the retrieved references by title, abstract, and body, 19 valid articles were selected for the analysis and the criteria for the quality assessment of MOOCs were extracted. In the second research phase, the identified criteria were presented to 20 experts using the Delphi method and the data was analyzed using the agreement coefficients. According to the results, the experts agreed on 20 criteria which could be classified into three categories: 1) learning resources and content quality and accessibility, 2) diversity and proportionality of the learning activities, and 3) the learners' support system. Accordingly, the social context, organizational policies, and technologies are the three factors that interact with the educational elements to determine the quality of MOOCs.
