It was aimed to evaluate the visibility to run patchouli oil distilation business. The data is primary data collected from the distilation plant at Salang Subdistrict in the District of Simeulu.The data was analized through Net Present Valie (NPV), Internal Rate Return (IRR), Net Benefit Cost Ratio (net B/C), Payback Priod (PP) in order to evaluate the investment visibility.The result shows this business is visible to be done and invested. This conclusion is based on the result of the Net Present Valie (NPV), Internal Rate Return (IRR), Net Benefit Cost Ratio (net B/C), Payback Priod (PP) that shows positive result. This study examines determinants of   cost efficiency of   banking operation in ASEAN-5 region which includes Indonesia, Singapura, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Thailand. By using stochastic frontier analysis (SFA) to 23 commercial banks in the region in the period of   2005-2012, empirical results reveal certain significant relationship of   cost efficiency with individual bank characteristic (return on equity, ROE). Based on the time-varying decay method, we conclude that there is an increase in cost efficiency during the period of  study. The research was conducted on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (ISE) by using sample of 72 consisted of the entire variable monthly data during  2010  to  2015 with  the selection  of  the sample through a non probability sampling method by purposive sampling method and the data were analyzed with multiple linear regression analysis techniques. Based on the analysis found inflation, IBC interest rates, and exchange rates simultaneously affect the CSPI. The Inflation and IBC interest rates partially significant negative effect on the CSPI, this means an increase in inflation and IBC interest rates may result decrease value of CSPI. Exchange rates partially significant positive effect on CSPI. Usaha kecil makanan dan minuman merupakan sub sektor tertinggi yang merekrut tenaga kerja di Aceh. Pada 2010 ada 929.910 usaha kecil yang mampu merekrut 2.152.981 tenaga kerja atau sekitar 31,99%. Ada tiga variabel yang mempengaruhi penyerapan tenaga kerja, upah, produktivitas tenaga kerja dan modal. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik regresi berganda untuk menganalisis data.  Analisis  teknik  digunakan  untuk menemukan dampak upah,  produktivitas  dan modal terhadap penyerapan tenaga kerja pada usaha kecil dan perusahaan. Berdasarkan temuan penelitian, keunggulan kompetitif tenaga kerja Indonesia berada pada peringkat keenam sepuluh negara di ASEAN. Muzakir","doi":"10.35308/jbkan.v2i1.1132","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.35308/jbkan.v2i1.1132","url":null,"abstract":"This study investigates Timing and Selection ability of managers in Indonesia Funds Industry.The one month stock funds net asset value, Indonesian Treasury-Bill (3-Months) and Market rerturn of Indonesia Stock Exchange covering from 2010-2014 is used on this research. We apply Treynor-Mazuy Equation to test the hypothesis. This investigation exhibit the timing the capital market ability as well as selectivity possess by managers both individuall as well as overall point of view. The reult shows that, individual analysis on the funds proves that the almost all of the managers only have slight of ability. Only three of the assets exhibit affirmative and statistically substantial alpha and none of them display confident timing skill. Using Loqation Quetiont (LQ) and Typology Klassen. The purpose of this research is to know the potential sectors and  the sectors that have comparative and competitive advantages and growth of each sector. This research uses secondary data in the form of data of gross regional domestic product (GRDP) on constant price according to business field. The scope of this research is Nagan Raya District in 2011-2016. Economic growth in Nagan Raya District based on GRDP data has increased every year. The result of the research shows that based on Location Quotient (LQ) analysis of Nagan Raya District sector is agriculture, forestry and fishery sector, mining and quarrying sector. The production of both sectors can not only meet the consumption needs of the relevant areas but also can be exported out of the region. It is  a fact that tv ads is one of the effective advertising channel to promotes a product and enhance the corporate image. However there are a lot of misconducts  in implementing tv ads to persuade consumers by showing conversations and scenes with a lot of sexual images. Sexual images in the ads are happened in many marketing events and programs. It has been considered as the effective approach to attract consumers attention and the message would be easy to be remembered and internalized in the memory. This phenomena also had happened in Indonesia where tv ads content sexual images which had caused controversy and rejection among the consumers and authorities. It againts Indonesian Advertising Code of Conduct. The sample of tv ads which content sexual images in Indonesia and considered of being unethical was the ad of Shimizu Water Pump. This tv ads had appeared on the national tv channel in 2011 and a lot of negative words, sexual images and the moves that could be seen as pornographic actions. There were several researchs had been conducted on the issue of ethics in advertising industry. Therefore this research strengthen previous researchs which have  concluded that ethics should be implemented inadvertising industry and no room for misconduct behaviour for this rule. The population of this sutdy was all students who have already taken English class either in the odd or in the even semester. Only was 10 % of the students obtained from Economics, Engineering, Agricultural, Social and Political Science, Fisheries and Marine Science, and Public Health Faculty randomly as the representative of the population. The instrument used to collect the data of this quantitative study was questionaire consisting of 10 closed questions. The data then was analyzed by using percentage with univariat method. The result shows that classroom management used by English lecturer at Universitas of Teuku Umar was very good averagely except about reward and social interaction among students.
