Here, the GP-Series Fractal and Minkowski Fractal are performed on proposed antenna which includes three steps of iteration and gives the enhanced peak gain and efficiency in result. The HDRA is made up of commercially available dielectric constant 4.3 (FR-4 lossy) and it has dissipation factor, $mathbf{tan} boldsymbol{delta}=0.025$. The fractal Half-HDRA is excited by a co-axial probe feeding at an offset value of $mathbf{x} =8.05$ mm and $mathbf{y}=5.1$ mm. The simulated impedance bandwidth of the final iteration in Minkowski Fractal is 52.5% i.e. 5.3 GHz to 9.1 GHz (S11 below −10 dB). Researchers has been directed to find out different emotional content from speech signals, they have tried to extract different features from speech and used different types of supervised or unsupervised learning methods to train a network such a way that a model can be developed which can identify emotion from speech signal successfully. The primary challenges of emotion recognition are choosing the emotional speech corpus (speech database), identification of different features related to speech and an appropriate choice of a classification model. In this work we have explored RML emotional speech corpus for our experiment purpose it is a collection of emotional audiovisual files of different languages. Embedded web server is preferred over PC server in case of internet applications based on client/server architecture for its decreasing size, cost and power consumption. CC3200 has an exclusive feature of low power consumption which makes it convenient for use in industries. A user-friendly webpage interface nodered is introduced to the users and system administrators to locally (LAN) or remotely (internet) manage and control the processes. The simulation is done using IE3D simulator and experimentally verified through Rohde & Schwarz ZVL Vector Network Analyzer. Antenna parameters like S-Parameter (S11), Voltage Standing Wave Ratio (VSWR) and Directivity are investigated. The values of measured S-Parameter (S11) are −26.59 dB, −24.31 dB and −12.39 dB for frequencies 2.45 GHz, 2.77 GHz and 2.99 GHz respectively. The active spring actuator i.e., shape memory alloy (SMA) spring offers better functionality and improved technology. The use of SMA spring allows larger work space, force and controllable stiffness than SMA wires. This paper presents a simple thermo-mechanical model of an SMA helical spring actuator with natural cooling. The thermal behavior is depicted by the classical first order differential equation of heat transfer while the mechanical aspect is represented by a sigmoid function. The model is capable of extracting the attributes of the SMA spring actuator without involving any complexity. However this approach assumes Guassian distribution for the coding residual, which might not be true in the practical Face Recognition system due to lighting, occlusion/disguise and expression variations. In this paper, we propose a new Robust Label Consistent Dictionary Learning (RLC-DL) algorithm, which assumes that the coding residual and coefficients are identically distributed, independent and tries to find a Maximum Likelihood Estimation of the coding problem. PC based wireless pulse generation and control unit with Graphical User Interface (GUI) having variable/controlled PRF (10Hz-1 kHz) and Ton $(10-100{mu} mathrm{s})$ is developed for gating pulse generation. Two sets of −25kV, 10A pulse power supplies are connected in series to achieve −50kV, 10A pulse output voltage. High voltage DC pulse power supply is used for the characterization of high power microwave tube and testing applications. Penetration of DGs changes the unidirectional structure of radial systems, leading to reversal of power flow. However, the existing relays are non-directional and hence operate based on the magnitude of the short circuit current. This leads to mal-operation of the relays if left un-attented to, even though for low penetration levels, the effects are negligible. This work addresses this issue by optimally sizing and siting the DGs in the non-autonomous micro-grids. Hence a huge investment cost needed to replace the existing relays is saved. The optimal sizing is done considering the installation and fuel cost of DGs using the particle swarm optimization algorithm and the optimal siting is done analytically using ETAP software. MATLAB is used to solve the PSO algorithm. In speaker verification tasks the score level combination scheme is widely used. In that scheme multiple features take decisions independently and later the overall decisions are modified based on individual strength accompanied with suitable weightage. The score level combination scheme provides interesting improvements in the overall performance, when evidences from different features are complementary in nature. It is conjecture that collectively contributed decisions may be more useful in achieving improved overall performance. Based on this idea, we propose a combination scheme for generic GMM-UBM based speaker verification system. In the proposed scheme the individual adapted GMM-UBM models are built from different available features. The individual model parameters are padded together to build overall GMM-UBM adaptive models. The test features of different evidences are padded in similar pattern and placed before the system for verification. The experimental studies are made on Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati Multi-Variability (IITG-MV) speech database and well known NIST-2003 SRE database. Much of the recent research has been concentrated in reducing the computational complexity involved in DNN training by developing different architectures. However the search space of the decoder in automatic speech recognition (ASR) is huge and also it is prune to have substitution errors. In this work, we introduce split decoding mechanism by creating sonorant and obstruent acoustic models. The speech frames that are detected as sonorants and obstruents are fed only to the sonorant acoustic models and obstruent acoustic models respectively. It reduces the decoder search space in ASR and also minimises the substitution errors. The manner of sonorants that includes broadly the vowels, the semi-vowels and the nasals are detected by exploiting the spectral flatness measure (SFM) computed on the magnitude linear prediction (LP) spectrum.
