It has a very useful role in many analog circuits like oscillators and bandpass filters. The negative resistance circuit, which requires no external passive component, is constituted of two simplified negative second generation current controlled conveyors (CCCII−). This conveyor uses NPN bipolar transistors to transfer the signals and CMOS transistors for bias circuit. Simulation results, with Virtuoso of Cadence, are given for the conveyor CCCII− and the current controlled negative resistance with a 100 μA bias current and a ±1.5 V supply voltage. They confirm the theoretical analysis and also underline the high performances of these circuits. They are characterized by adjustable parameters through the bias current, high frequency behavior, low power consumption, and small silicon area which make them attractive for integrated circuit implementations. A comparison between these implementations and the topologies proposed in the literature is discussed.","PeriodicalId":259951,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Advanced Technologies for Signal and Image Processing (ATSIP)","volume":"112 1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123440714","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, this controller depends highly on parameter variations of the Doubly Fed Induction Generator (DFIG). Their respective performances are compared with the Field oriented control, regarding to sudden speed variation, reference tracking and robustness against system parameters variations. The control simulation results are simulated on the environment Matlab / Simulink. A very detailed analysis of simulation results of wind conversion chain system is performed with the objective to evaluate and optimize the performance of the proposed system.","PeriodicalId":259951,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Advanced Technologies for Signal and Image Processing (ATSIP)","volume":"18 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132843259","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This model consists on the use of the spatial contextual information at the level of each pixel, in order to evaluate a local based possibility distribution, resuming the pixel information. The proposed possibilistic modeling approach performance is evaluated through a pixel classification of both synthetic image and 5 mammographic images. Its performance is compared with three relevant reference methods: classic Bayesian approach and Markov Random fields approach with two optimization technics: Iterated Conditional Modes (ICM) and simulated annealing (RS). Our approach outperforms the other methods, in terms of recognition rate, by 94.84%, against, respectively, 93.88%, 85.10% and 84.67%. In addition, the proposed possibilistic modeling approach showed an interesting behavior of stability and allowed a better visually classification quality compared to other methods.","PeriodicalId":259951,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Advanced Technologies for Signal and Image Processing (ATSIP)","volume":"52 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133134008","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Indeed, joining both texture and color show a great usability, to correctly predict abnormal tissues in WCE images with a higher accuracy and reproducibility. In texture analysis, scale is an important information, we can visualize the same texture as being different textures in many scales. The local binary pattern (LBP) shows it's efficiency as texture operator in many studies. A multi-scale approach based on LBP and Laplacian pyramid transform, is proposed here. This rotation-and-scale invariant method aims to distinguish ulcerous regions from a normal ones, in an efficient way. In addition, the proposed approach was applied on the components of four color spaces : RGB, Lab, HSV and CMY. Ulcer detection, was performed using the support vector machine (SVM) [1]. The results obtained validate the efficacity of our proposed system with average accuracy of 95.61%, an average sensitivity of 97.68% and an average specificity of 94.40%.","PeriodicalId":259951,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Advanced Technologies for Signal and Image Processing (ATSIP)","volume":"86 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115809436","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Therefore, dimensionality reduction is often an essential step in order to remove the irrelevant, noisy and redundant bands. And consequently increase the classification accuracy. However, identification of useful bands from hundreds or even thousands of related bands is a nontrivial task. This paper aims at identifying a small set of bands, for improving computational speed and prediction accuracy. Hence, we have proposed an hybrid algorithm through band selection for dimensionality reduction of hyperspectral images. The proposed approach combines mutual information gain (MIG), Minimum Redundancy Maximum Relevance (mRMR) and Error probability of Fano with Support Vector Machine bands Elimination (SVM-PF). The proposed approach is compared to an effective reproduced filters approach based on mutual information. Experimental results on HSI AVIRIS 92AV3C have shown that the proposed approach outperforms the reproduced filters.","PeriodicalId":259951,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Advanced Technologies for Signal and Image Processing (ATSIP)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128888348","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For this task there exists many approaches. This paper focuses on the feature-based category of image registration methods. Particularly, we propose an improvement of the SURF algorithm on the point matching step. Indeed, in order to achieve a correct registration, a good matching of feature point is required. However The presence of outliers lead to a fail in the registration. Therefore, in this paper, we introduce an efficient method devoted to the detection and removal of such outliers. It's based on an automatic filtering of outliers based on both distance and orientation between feature points. Images from IKONOS and QuickBird satellites are used to evaluate this proposed method, which we compare to classical SURF as well as SURF followed by RANSAC filtering. The results show that our method outperforms the others regarding all assessment criteria.","PeriodicalId":259951,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Advanced Technologies for Signal and Image Processing (ATSIP)","volume":"66 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128422032","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Based on the idea of multiple Lyapunov function (MLF) and slack variables functional terms of the controller design method, the problem of estimating the domain of attraction of T-S fuzzy nonlinear discrete-time systems with actuator saturation under a state feedback law is formulated and solved as Linear Matrix Inequalities (LMIs). An LMI-based optimization problem is then derived for computing the state feedback gains such that the origin of the closed-loop system with actuator saturation is asymptotically stable when starting in a region as large as possible. Numerical example demonstrates the effectiveness of the design method.","PeriodicalId":259951,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Advanced Technologies for Signal and Image Processing (ATSIP)","volume":"41 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124690013","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
