Dependencies of heating of titanium implant samples at different power consumption were defined. Novel matrix coatings of titanium dioxide with colloidal hydroxyapatite (nanophase filler) were produced on the surface of medical items, which are made of commercially pure titanium VT1-00 and titanium alloy VT16 (Ti-2.5Al-5Mo-5V). Consistency changes of morphological characteristics, hardness and biological compatibility of titanium intraosseous implants with coatings produced by the above-mentioned technique using induction heating were defined. The model is based on the known probability density functions of forecast prices. The problem is to estimate the parameters of blocks - values of power and their corresponding prices. The objective function is an expected value of profit for selling energy. The stochastic market clearing prices only affects the objective function, and particularly, the term corresponding to revenues. The parameters of blocks are interconnected by probability function. To determine required values the recurrent optimization procedure is developed. All existing methodologies which are used to determine optimal cross-section for transmission line wires can be divided into two categories: deterministic and probabilistic (stochastic). This paper presents a new approach for stochastic optimization and compares it to simplified deterministic approach. The proposed method minimizes total annual exploitation and construction costs of the transmission line based on utilization of existing large and easy accessible databases (electricity prices, ambient temperature, load records). This paper investigates the advantages of using a heliostat with non-rotating solar energy receivers (like water/air heating collectors, stationary PV panels or solar illumination collectors). The optimal orientation of the solar receiver and the heliostat is discussed in detail for two different optimization strategies - maximal energy and maximal operation period with irradiance higher than 400 W/m2. It is presented as a step by step tutorial on how to assess CVR effects with existing resources and tools at every control room in electrical distribution utilities. They overcome limitations of conventional solutions by the utilization of specific impedance-source networks. Previous review papers cover impedance-source networks. Focus of this paper is on the topologies of the impedance-source galvanically isolated DC/DC converter. These converters are particularly appropriate for distributed generation systems with renewable or alternative energy sources which require input voltage regulation in a wide range. This paper presents a concise review of basic existing topologies for researchers and engineers. All the reviewed topologies of the impedance-source galvanically isolated DC/DC converter are classified by the element that transfers energy from the input to the output: a transformer or a coupled inductor. It is focused on modelling of an adapting device. The equations used for self-tuning or adaptive systems are adjusted to derive the mathematical model of an adaptronic system and the structural scheme of such system is built based on the scheme of self-tuning system. Adapter is described as open-loop automatic control system with two first-order aperiodic blocks and PI controller. As here the main attention is paid to the adapter and to simplify equations, blocks of the main loops are proportional (P) controllers. Performance of this approach for the OPF problem is studied and evaluated on the standard IEEE 30-bus test system with different objective functions.
