As a result, a large number of sub-modules are integrated in the converter, within which the capacitors greatly affect the reliability of the converter. Thus, it is necessary to monitor the health of the capacitors in the sub-modules. In this paper, an intelligent algorithm-based method is proposed to monitor the sub-module capacitance in modular multilevel converter, by selecting bridge arm currents, dc voltage and sub-module switch signal integration as the characteristics of capacitor degradation. Neural network algorithm is selected as an example to monitor the sub-module capacitor value. The features of Photovoltaic (PV) cells mainly rely on climatic conditions like temperature, irradiance that are prone to fluctuations. In addition to this, the unpredictable nature of PV systems necessitates a requirement to assess and test the data corresponding to solar energy using appropriate Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) techniques. However, traditional reliability assessment in distribution system is usually conducted from system side, while neglecting the negative impact on reliability level from power quality problems, such as voltage deviation (usually low voltage problem) and voltage sags. To overcome the shortcomings mentioned above, some new metrics for distribution reliability assessment considering the influence from power quality problems are presented in this paper. Those metrics considering influence from low voltage problem and voltage sags, can be defined as “equivalent reliability metrics”. In addition, a modified reliability assessment method for distribution system considering power quality problems is proposed in this paper, in order to calculated the proposed new metrics considering power quality from consumer-side. C<inf>4</inf>F<inf>7</inf>N/CO<inf>2</inf> mixture, as a potential substitute, has been widely concerned by researchers. The long-term working insulation performance of C<inf>4</inf>F<inf>7</inf>N, especially the surface insulation, still needs more research. In this paper, two types of spacers are used to study the surface flashover characteristics in C<inf>4</inf>F<inf>7</inf>N/CO<inf>2</inf> mixture. It is found that the flashover voltage of the plate spacer in 10% C<inf>4</inf>F<inf>7</inf>N /90%CO<inf>2</inf> mixture is lower than SF<inf>6</inf>. When the C<inf>4</inf>F<inf>7</inf>N content increases from 5% to 20%, the surface flashover voltage of the downsized GIL basin spacer increases and C<inf>4</inf>F<inf>7</inf>N/CO<inf>2</inf> mixture has obvious synergistic and polar effect. In the actual calculation process, the accurate calculation of the actual line loss is often difficult to achieve. One of the main problems are due to various reasons, the original data will inevitably accrue data loss and data confusion. To improve the calculation accuracy of the line loss rate, the paper proposes an abnormal line loss data detection and correction method. Aiming at the problem of abnormal power grid data collection, the paper first extracts abnormal power consumption data from historical data, uses AP clustering algorithm to classify abnormal data, extracts the abnormal power consumption behavior characteristics for each type of historical abnormal power consumption curve, and then compares real-time power consumption data with abnormal electricity behavior features, and determines whether abnormal data do occur according to the similarity theory. Finally, DNN algorithm is used to replace the abnormal data. It proposes a new method of vulnerability communication link assessment for electric cyber physical system. Wind power output, transmission line failure and communication link failure of electric cyber physical system are sampled to obtain different operating states of electric cyber physical system. The connectivity of communication links under different operating states of electric cyber physical system is calculated to judge whether the communication nodes of the links are connected with the control master station. According to the connection between the link communication node and the control master station, the switching load and switching load of the electric cyber physical system in different operating states are calculated, and the optimal switching load of the electric cyber physical system in different operating states is obtained. When the virtual power plant participates in the electric energy market and peak regulation market, the operator's bidding decision needs to consider the coordination and cooperation with the external market and internal members. This paper has proposed a kind of day-ahead bidding strategy for the virtual power plant operator to participate in the electric energy market and peak regulation market externally and cooperate with internal members. A bidding model of operator participation in day-ahead power market was established and solved by particle swarm optimization.
