This implies that teachers’ emotions, especially negative ones, go beyond individual factors and have become a social issue. Therefore, researchers use sociological perspectives and theories to deepen our understanding of the phenomenon. Using the random sampling method, the study sample was chosen in two experiment (15 individuals) and control (15 individuals) groups.   The experiment group received 12 sessions of music therapy and the control group was waiting for treatment meanwhile. {"title":"Organizational Commitment and Job Burnout among Psychaitric Nurses in Punjab Pakistan","authors":"Kashifa Yasmin, N. Based on the model of casual turnover this study assessed the direct effect of organizational commitment on job burnout. The cross sectional data was collected from three hundred five nurses of psychiatric hospitals in Punjab, Pakistan. Structural equation modeling was applied to achieve the objectives. The results revealed that only and normative commitment have significant impact while affective commitment and continuous commitment has not significant effect on nurse’s job burnout.  So, the commitment of nurse to hospital goals, missions, and values is not enough to predict her job burnout in the hospital. This study recommends that future researchers should examine the impact of work environment on job burnout as a unidimensional . Faggion","doi":"10.4172/2311-3278.1000133","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.4172/2311-3278.1000133","url":null,"abstract":"The research study aimed to understand how first generation Italian migrants in Brisbane have influenced the form of a specific typology of dwelling, the archetypal ‘house on a quarter-acre block’, in the post WWII period. In order to understand the forces behind and outcomes of migrants’ influence on the form of their Italo-Australian transnational houses, qualitative data collected from the testimonies of Italian migrants in conjunction with evidence left from four houses were analyzed. The findings revealed that the architectural form of the house was influenced by architectural traditions, sociocultural factors and urbanization patterns. It was shown that the form of the transnational house mirrored the cultures derived from the ways of life belonging to two societies. Therefore, the form of houses built by Italian migrants in post WWII Brisbane is the manifestation of the Italian and the Australian cultures. The method used in this research was practical in terms of objectives and correlational-descriptive in terms of data collection method. The statistical population consisted of 160 individuals including all the second grade high school teachers in Saveh city. In this regard, 113 individuals (65 males and 4 females) were considered as a sample size using the Cochran formula and the Stratified random sampling method. In order to collect the data, three standard questionnaires of team learning of Breso et al. (2008), knowledge management of Fong & Choi (2009), and organizational culture of Denison (2000) were employed.  In order to assess the reliability of the questionnaires, the Cronbach’s alpha method was used and the related coefficients were 0.84, 0.82, and 0.94 respectively for each of the questionnaires. Moreover, in order to assess the validity, the content validity was used, and the questionnaires were confirmed by the relevant experts. The analysis of the obtained data was performed through SPSS software in the two sections of descriptive and inferential (Pearson correlation and multivariable regression). Our intention of this study is fundamentally to categorize that what kind of factors influence the online shopping in consumers of Pakistan. By using self-administered questionnaires we collected data from our 162 respondents. For regression analysis we entered all that that data into SPSS and do analysis also. Results of our study show significant relationship of attitude towards online shopping, online shopping intention, perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, perceived enjoyment and trust, on online shopping. These factors influence the online shopping intention. One of the important issues confronting the sociologists who analyze the sciences is how to present sciences in the mass media . Besides, today, communication in many different fields is held within the exclusive control of the mass media and these media are the only source of information for most of the people.The present study, therefore, aims to explain the quality of \"public understanding of science and technology\" among the Isfahanian people and to produce the required data for the evaluation of general knowledge of and attitude toward science and technology. In particular, this study deals with the mechanisms applied by mass media to enhance the public understanding of science and technology. As to research methodology, the present study follows the purpose of obtaining the quantitative statistical results from one sample. a systematic interview in the form of a questionnaire with closed-end items was used for collecting the required data. The research population for this study is the residents (aged between 15 to 79 years) of the 15 regions of Isfahan city of whom the number is 1564553, based on the public census in 2014. As for determining the sample size, Cochrane equation was used and 630 participants were chosen for the interview using a quota sampling. The main hypothesis of the quantitative phase was made based on the structural equation modeling to examine the \"mechanism of media contribution to the enhancement of public understanding of science among citizens\". This hypothesis was tested using Amos software. The results of this study are as follows:     In the formulated Structural Equation Modeling, it was observed that the media increase the communicative competence of their addressees through translation and simplification of the scientific notions. Such an increase in the \"addressees' competence in communicating with science\", in turn, increases \"their participation rate in the science and technology programs\" and ultimately, enhances the public understanding of science and technology.  Media played also some part in \"representing the cultural and intellectual bio-life prevailing in society\" and reflecting the dominant intellectual atmosphere of society. On the one hand, although it seems that economic problems are the main factor associated with the fatalism in fatalistic nations, studies illustrate that Iranian society have suffered from mistrust, lack of social participation, knowledge and so on. Moreover, cultural crises have been embedded with their daily life nowadays. Consequently, the question is raised in the mind of the author that the fatalism might have a complicated relationship towards economic, social and cultural capital since the mistrust reduces participation and then the wheel of economic will be stopped. As a result, socio-economic and cultural capitals could have influence on the fatalism. The aim of this study is to investigate the fatalism of citizens in Isfahan according to the benefit of economic, cultural and social capitals. The theories of Marx’s alienation and Durkheim’s excessive discipline are used to study the fatalism. On the other hand, Bourdieu's perspective is used for studying the economic and cultural capitals as well as evaluating the social class and the lifestyle. The survey research has been conducted on the 300 residents of the city. A cluster sampling method is used in this study. The questionnaire is used as a data collection instrument and the Pearson Correlation Coefficient; t-test and ANOVA are used for the data analysis. The research is framed on the interpretive paradigm that conceives of youth as agents that are skilled, knowledgeable and capable of reflecting on matters that affect their existence. This is contrary to other studies of the labour market that privilege expert knowledge, presenting young people as voiceless, less knowledgeable and overwhelmed by structures. The suggested employment strategies by the unemployed youth were found to be feasible and matching expert knowledge. This justifies a call to pay attention to the voices of youth in the design of youth labour market policies and programmes. Using propensity score matching techniques, we compare parolees released to parole after successfully completing a residential treatment program to a matched group of parolees released directly into the community from a correctional facility. Analyses show that parolees who successfully complete a halfway house program are more likely to successfully complete parole but the effect on residential programming on long-term recidivism are negligible.
