To this aim, we consider a mathematical model which describes the steady-state flow of a Herschel-Bulkley fluid in a bounded domain. We give the mathematical formulation of the blockage phenomenon and we establish the existence of blocking force. We also focus on behaviour of the flow with respect to the blocking force.","PeriodicalId":231117,"journal":{"name":"Advances in Mathematics: Scientific Journal","volume":"40 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123542360","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

At the same time, starting from the copulas of Gumbel,of Ali-Michael and Haq., we propose some copulas of the Archimedean family that we estimate contribute to the resolution of the problems related to the choice of the maximum or the optimal values for a group of random variables united within d random vectors of size n, independent and identifically distributed, suitably normalized as n tends to infinity. To our knowledge, there exists, in this case, the copula of Ali-Michael and Haq, Which goes in the same direction, however, the copula that we propose takes into account on the one hand the dependence parameters of the marginals and on the other hand the size of the samples including the dependence parameter of the joint distribution function","PeriodicalId":231117,"journal":{"name":"Advances in Mathematics: Scientific Journal","volume":"44 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122530333","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The exact solution is expressed in form of series. The convergence of the iterative method to find the approximate solution is proven. Some numerical examples are studied to demonstrate the accuracy of the present method. Results obtained by the method are compared with the exact solution of each example which are found to be in good agreement with each other.","PeriodicalId":231117,"journal":{"name":"Advances in Mathematics: Scientific Journal","volume":"12 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121559019","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

After introducing the new distribution, we cover two approaches to estimate its parameters; in the presence of a censored scheme, we first use a traditional approach, which is The maximum likelihood technique, then we use the Bayesian approach. The BarzilaiBrown algorithm is used to derive the censored maximum likelihood estimators while a Monte Carlo Markov chains (MCMC) procedure is applied to derive the Bayesian ones. Three loss functions are used to provide the Bayesian estimators: the entropy, the generalized quadratic, and the Linex functions. Using Pitman's proximity criteria; the maximum likelihood and the Bayesian estimations are compared. All of the provided estimations techniques have been evaluated throughout simulation studies. Finally, we consider two sample Bayes predictions to predict future order statistics","PeriodicalId":231117,"journal":{"name":"Advances in Mathematics: Scientific Journal","volume":"90 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114209202","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
