Beberapa produk kosmetik yang sering digunakan oleh masyarakat adalah eye-liner, concealer, pensil alis bedak, lisptik dan lainnya. Lipstik merupakan produk kosmetik yang digunakan untuk mewarnai bibir dengan sentuhan artistik sehingga dapat meningkatkan estetika dalam riasan wajah. Beberapa produk lipstik yang beredar di pasaran mengandung timbal, bahan dasar lipstik ini merupakan senyawa kimia yang berbahaya bagi manusia apabila digunakan dalam jangka waktu panjang. Sehingga untuk mengetahui adanya kadar timbal dalam lipstik, peneliti menganalisis menggunakan spektrofotometer serapan atom. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kadar timbal pada lipstik yang beredar di pasar Gamping Yogyakarta. Hasil analisa kadar logam berat Timbal dari 13 sampel lipstik pada penelitian ini didapatkan sampel lipstik dengan kadar logam timbal tertinggi adalah 10,896 µg/g. Sedangkan kadar timbal terendah pada penelitian ini adalah 0,471 µg/g. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa 80-90% kasus tinea pedis dan tinea unguium disebabkan oleh jamur dermatofita, terutama Trichophyton rubrum dan Trichophyton mentagrophytes. Petugas kebersihan adalah contoh pekerjaan yang kesehariannya menggunakan sepatu yang tertutup dengan waktu cukup lama, lapangan kerja yang kotor, panas dan lembab menjadi faktor yang memudahkan terjadinya infeksi jamur pada kaki dan kuku kaki. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran jamur Trichophyton sp pada kerokan kulit dan kuku kaki petugas kebersihan DLH. Jenis penelitian bersifat deskriptif dengan melakukan observasi kuesioner terhadap petugas kebersihan DLH di Samarinda Seberang dan pemeriksaan secara makroskopis dan mikroskopis. Responden pada penelitian ini berjumlah 17 orang petugas kebersihan berjenis kelamin laki-laki yang akan diambil kerokan kulit dan kuku kaki, kemudian dilakukan pemeriksaan makroskopis dan mikroskopis. Hasil penelitian, didapatkan responden yang terinfeksi jamur Trichophyton sp sebanyak 6 orang (35,3%) dan yang tidak terinfeksi sebanyak 11 orang (64,7%). Petugas kebersihan DLH di Samarinda Seberang lebih banyak berusia 30-35 tahun (47%) dengan lama bekerja 1-3 dan 4-6 tahun (35%). Responden yang rutin menggunakan APD sebanyak 11 orang (64,7%) dan rutin mencuci kaki sebanyak 15 orang (88,2%). Penggunaan APD dan kebiasaan mencuci tangan dan kaki menjadi salah satu faktor terinfeksi jamur Trichophyton sp. Tujuan menggunakan menzter indeks untuk membedakan dan mendeteksi subyek yang memerlukan tindak lanjut yang tepat dan untuk mengurangi biaya yang tidak perlu. Diagnosis banding antara anemia defisiensi besi dan thalassemia didasarkan pada hasil HbA2 elektroforesis, kadar status besi berupa kadar feritin serum, Serum Iron (SI), Total Iron Binding Capacity (TIBC) dan Saturasi Transferin (ST). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan nilai indeks Mentzer, HbA2 dan Status besi antara anemia defisiensi besi dan thalassemia. Manfaat penelitian ini memberikan informasi jika pemeriksaan indeks mentzer dapat digunakan sebagai skrining awal untuk membedakan Anemia Defisiensi Besi dan Thalasemi. Jenis penelitian ini survei analitik dengan rancangan studi komparatif. Sampel diambil secara Total sampling dengan jumlah 20 pasien anak Anemia defisiensi Besi dan 20 pasien anak Thalasemia di RSUD Ulin Banjarmasin pada bulan Juli-Agustus 2022. Hasil analisis statistik menggunakan uji Independent Samples Test menunjukkan nilai signifikansi untuk menzter indeks 0,000, Total iron binding capacity 0,002 dan HbA2 0,000. Dengan menggunakan analisis uji Mann-Whitney menunjukkan nilai signifikansi pada serum iron sebesar 0,000, saturasi transferin 0,000 dan ferritin 0,000. Maka H1 diterima karena nilai sig < 0,05. Xylol sering digunakan sebagai agen clearing karena prosesnya cepat dan harganya tidak terlalu mahal, tetapi penggunaan xylol sudah mulai ditinggalkan karena sifatnya yang karsinogenik. Minyak mempunyai karakter bersifat non polar sehingga dengan sifat non polar dari minyak kelapa ini dapat menghilangkan sisa parafin yang terdapat pada jaringan dan dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif larutan clearing. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan minyak kelapa murni (virgin coconut oil) sebagai alternatif larutan clearing terhadap gambaran makroskopis jaringan hepar mencit (Mus musculus). Metode penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian eksperimental dengan pendekatan one-shot case study. Hasil penelitian ini dilihat dari parameter transparansi dan tekstur menghasilkan 16 (100%), preparat baik sedangkan parameter kemudahan pemotongan didapat 10 sediaan baik (62,5%). Uji Mann-Whitney didapatkan nilai p-value < 0,05 maka ada perbedaan kualitas sediaan jaringan hepar mencit (Mus musculus) yang dijernihkan menggunakan xylol dan minyak kelapa murni (virgin coconut oil). Gastrointestinal disease caused by worm parasites is a systemic disease that attacks the digestive tract of cattle. Traditional pig farming methods and poor hygiene are the main reasons for the spread of zoonoses that can be transmitted from pigs to humans. This study aims to identify nematode hosts by examining worm eggs in pig feces using the direct slide method. From a total of 20 stool samples, 3 samples were positive for nematode worm eggs. A stool sample that is identified as positive for worm eggs determines the level of parasitic infestation. This study aims to determine the number of germs on the doorknobs of health care facilities in the opposite Samarinda area. This type of research is descriptive which describes the results of the total germ number on the door handle, with the number of door handle swab samples in this study 27 samples, each of which is divided into 9 samples by testing using the Total Plate Number method with Plate Count Agar media then incubated 1 x 24 hours. C. difficile bacteria is a bacterium that causes Clostridium difficile infection (ICD). Toxin A of C. difficile bacteria is exotoxin A (tcdA) which is a virulence factor that causes disease. Toxin A can damage the intestinal mucosa and cause bleeding. The cost of examining and treating patients with AAD and PMC is very high, so the dosage must be determined correctly. Laboratory tests function to determine the presence or absence of an ICD. The discovery of specific biomarkers is a discovery priority to improve the quality of laboratory tests. Specific primary design is an important step in all types of laboratory examination methods, one of which is molecular examination by PCR. The primary design must have specific properties so as to be efficient at target amplification. This study aims to obtain a primer design that can be used to limit the amplification area of the TcdA gene in silico. This study used a literature study from the NCBI genbank to obtain the tcdA gene sequence of C. defficile bacteria with accession number DQ902560.1. The tcdA gene sequence of C. difficile bacteria was analyzed using Primer3Plus to determine whether there is hairpin and dimer formation. Furthermore, identification was carried out using web-based in silico PCR to determine the number of amplicon and visualization on the electrophoretic gel. The level of tcdA gene homology in the species group in the BLAST test. The results showed that the best primer design for in silico detection of the tcdA gene of C. difficile was the forward primer 5'-GCAGATGCCAAGAGACACAC-3' and the reverse primer 3'-GCAGATGCCAAGACACACAC-5'. Amphetamines are among the most widely used drugs in the community which are included in the Psychotropic class II. Amphetamines are also a group of drugs that stimulate the central nervous system, which can affect the brain's cortex to increase mental activity. Amphetamines can trigger the release of several neurotransmitters in the body, such as dopamine, norepinephrine, and serQotonin. The increase caused by these neurotransmitters can increase energy stimulation, increase physical endurance, motor activity, and cause a feeling of pleasure. All organs in the body work harder, so users feel more focused, empowered, confident and able to think quickly. The effect of using amphetamine is that it can eliminate fatigue and drowsiness. The aim of the study was to determine whether the content of amphetamine compounds was present in the urine samples of public transportation drivers at the Horas Pematangsiantar Tax. The sampling location was carried out at the Pematangsiantar Horas Tax while the research location was carried out at the Simpang Bah Jambi Health Center. The type of research used is qualitative data research which is described descriptively using a stick test tool with the Immunoassay method which was carried out in May 2023. The examination results of 50 samples were negative. Trichomoniasis is a non-viral sexually transmitted infection and is found in the human urogenital tract. The interaction between T. vaginalis with the host is very complex and many factors influence the pathogenicity of T. vaginalis. To determine the factors that influence the pathogenicity of Trichomonas vaginalis. Literature review using the Google Scholar database. The search results for articles matched the criteria with the keyword \"pathogenicity of Trichomonas vaginalis\". Pathogenicity factors include changes in the trophozoite Trichomonas vaginalis to an ameboid form, cellular pathogenicity (attachment of Trichomonas vaginalis to host cells, cytotoxic and hemolytic activity, phagocytosis), interactions with vaginal flora, symbiont contribution with Trichomonas vaginalis, recognition by the host immune system, and evasion host immune system. Following the guidelines of the World Health Organization, effective hand washing involves six stages. The purpose of this study is to ascertain how proper and good hand washing habits affect the quantity of germs on the palms of pupils at State Elementary School 005 Samarinda. Purposive sampling was utilized to choose 31 samples for a quasi-experimental study with a one group pretest-posttest design. Through counseling, samples taken in the form of palm swabs and examined before and after hand washing were evaluated using the Total Plate Number (ALT) technique with dilutions ranging from 101 to 102. The Wilcoxon Test technique was used to assess the test findings using univariate and bivariate analysis. According to studies, there are typically 78 CFU/cm2 of germs on the hands before washing them, and there are 10 CFU/cm2 of germs after washing them with soap, with a 79% reduction in the quantity of germs on the palms. The Wilcoxon test findings showed a p-value of 0.000, indicating that there was a reduction in the number of germs on primary school children' palms both before and after washing their hands.
