A direct power passing path is introduced into the H5 topology to ensure the current flows through less power switches than that in the H5 topology during the operational mode of direct power transfer from the input to output sides. So the conduction loss in the proposed inverter is lower than the H5 topology. The operational principle is analyzed in detail, and some extended topologies with the same idea are given as well. The proposed topology features a fine trade-off between the power loss and the common-mode performance, compared with the famous H5 and Heric topologies. The real hard disk drive is a very high dimensional system and it is not adequate to use it as a control model. In the model following control scheme, a lower dimensional system is used as a control model to generate the control input and the reference input for the real hard disk drive. By using the reference governor with outer feedback for the control model, we can keep the constraint condition and get a good response. We adopt twelve-phase or six-phase PWM dimming to control the brightness of twelve lamps. Each phase can control one or two lamps. Circuit architecture is full bridge phase-shift circuit which can improve the total efficiency of the driving circuit. From the experimental results for four-phase and six-phase PWM dimming control, we got a conclusion which power efficiency η (%) is directly proportional to No. of phases and lamp current error E (%) whose range is inversely proportional to No. of phases. By the design rule, we compare system parameters between twelve-phase and six-phase dimming control for backlight inverter. Hence higher phases dimming will achieve uniform output lamp currents which is called current equalization. Higher phases dimming possesses higher power efficiency η (%). These sensors have got enormous contribution towards the research in the field of mining domain. This work contributes to the design & application of analytic devices and circuits, particularly, for detecting the presence of hazardous gases in the various types of critical environments. The Gas sensors are under-developing approach in the field of research and yet require more work so as to obtain maximum throughput for the mining based applications. There have been lots of works done in the field of gas sensing e.g. gas sensor manufacturing, sensor monitoring circuit designing, gas sensor miniaturization etc but they have their own merits and demerits. The proposed gas monitoring system plays a vital role in monitoring the gases in the mines. This work includes designing and implementation of a system that continuously monitors the concentration of methane (CH4) and carbon-monoxide (CO) gas in the underground mines, which automatically cuts off the power supply of the particular zone in an underground mine, when the concentration of CH4 exceeds more than the permissible limit decided by the user. For better accuracy, we propose the cross checking of the concentration of the gases from two or more sensors. The present work is devoted on the designing part of the sensor circuit which is dedicated for the better safety environments and need of the miners and mining area. This system facilitates to fulfill the needs of the monitoring of the underground mining environment. Since the images acquired from the PTI system are noisy and it can be costly to achieve a higher resolution from the hardware side, it is efficient to do so by SR. The Rayleigh fading scenarios is first investigated to derive the optimal transmission range in ad-hoc wireless network by taking the factors of data loss and retransmission. In order to construct the energy efficiency protocol, the realistic physical layer model in ad-hoc wireless communication is also considred to fix the energy consumption model for constructing an energy efficiency based communication protocol. A contourlet transform based visual object tracking method is given in this paper. Being one of the multi-scale geometric analysis methods, the contourlet transform has better performance than the traditional wavelet transform to describe the edge feature of visual objects. The contourlet coefficients are firstly obtained and parts of them are then used to calculate the “edge” energy of visual objects. The tracking of an interested object is then done according to a diamond search method, which finds a square region with a similar energy to the object in the successive frames of the video. As an attempt seeking beneficial result, this paper proposes a new Trojan communication model based on Internet Relay Chat (IRC) and Webmail system. IRC chat channel is designed to transfer commands and Webmail system is applied to store data. Because of this design, it is not necessary to build a direct link between Trojan user and target hosts.
