This paper proposed a improved Fuzzy PID controller to control speed of Brushless DC motor. The proposed controller is called proportional-integral-derivative (PID) controller and Fuzzy proportional-integral-derivative controller. This paper provides an overview of performance conventional PID controller and Fuzzy PID controller. It is difficult to tune the parameters and get satisfied control characteristics by using normal conventional PID controller. As the Fuzzy has the ability to satisfied control characteristics and it is easy for computing, In order to control the BLDC motor, a Fuzzy PID controller is designed as the controller of the BLDC motor. The experimental results verify that a Fuzzy PID controller has better control performance than the conventional PID controller. The modified DS - MNN combination was employed to a nonlinear process. The `best' single network condition is somehow a difficult condition to achieve especially in nonlinear process modeling; therefore, multiple neural networks were applied in this work. Furthermore, MNN was combined with a nonlinear combination method - DS method to further improved the MNN model. In this case, a conical water tank was used as the nonlinear system. It is assumed that there are a single-rate sampling in the plant input and two stochastic sampling rates in the controller input whose occurrence probabilities are given constants and satisfy a Bernoulli distribution. By Lyapunov function approach, a new sufficient condition is presented for the mean square asymptotic stability of the system. Based on this, the design procedure for stabilization controllers is proposed. Therefore quick and accurate automatic analyzers for clinic are of urgent requirement all the time. In this paper, design and implementation of embedded control and management system for novel automatic platelet aggregometer is presented, which comes to rapid and quantitative measure of platelet aggregation and other platelet-function for assay. The system is based on ARM-DSP dual-core embedded processor framework for device control and management. Automatic control of testing process is introduced and a signal modulation and detection circuit is proposed for measuring blood cell's weak pulse signals, as well as principle of the control and management system software is given in detail which supporting a reliable system control and operation. The new system achieves effective and accurate platelet aggregation assay and overcomes the drawbacks of conventional manual operation of platelet-function assay. Using the linear fractional transformation, a new procedure of fault modeling is proposed on the graphical model. The bi-causality notion is used on the graphical model in order to deduce systematically the mathematical fault estimation equations. First, by applying a partition-dependent Lyapunov function, we present a stability result based on copositive matrices which can be solved by the linear matrix inequality (LMI) technique. However, many existing works are dedicated to extracting image features using texture based techniques such as local binary pattern (LBP). In view of the simplicity and effectiveness offered, this paper proposes to investigate into projection-based methods for periocular identity verification. Several well established projection-based methods such as principal component analysis, its variants and linear discriminant analysis will be adopted in our performance evaluation based on a subset of FERET face database. Such digital manipulation technique is computationally intensive. Hence, DSPs are traditionally deployed on modern desktop computers, or on specialized processors called digital signal processors (DSPs). Development and verification of real-time DSP algorithm, on low-power battery-operated device, is a challenging task. The absence of an available real-time operating system on these devices further delays the development and design verification process. In this paper, a methodology to implement health monitoring DSP algorithms onto wireless sensor node (WSN) hardware is proposed. Firstly, a DSP pre-processing technique was investigated and identified for benchmarking. Secondly, a suitable DSP hardware platform for DSP deployment was investigated. Thirdly, a Real-Time (RT) Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) simulator system was developed to verify the DSP algorithm implementation.
