Since Marshall brought forward the gathered economy, and Schumpeter proposed that technological innovation is the driving force for future economic development, the research on the industrial district and technological innovation did not interrupt. Technological innovation is a crucial measure to prolong the lifecycle of industrial clusters, promote their long-term competitive advantage and boost their sustainable development. Examples showed that we should pay more attention to the construction of technological innovation system in the process of carrying out the strategy of industry clusters. Based on the related technological innovation theory of industrial clusters, the paper analyzed the relationship between industry clusters, technological innovation and built the technological innovation system for industry clusters.","PeriodicalId":218182,"journal":{"name":"2008 International Seminar on Future Information Technology and Management Engineering","volume":"45 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2008-11-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114703967","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Data integration is the problem of combining data residing at different sources, and providing the user with a unified view of these data. Data quality is crucial for operational data integration. We posit that data-integration need to handle the measure of data quality. So, measuring data quality in data integration is one of worthy research topics. This paper focuses on believability, a major aspect of quality. At first, the author analyzes the background and content of this paper, then description of dimensions of believability is given, and we present our approach for computing believability based on metadata, finally the summary and prospect are listed. In this method, we make explicit use of lineage-based measurements and develop a precise approach to measuring data quality.","PeriodicalId":218182,"journal":{"name":"2008 International Seminar on Future Information Technology and Management Engineering","volume":"20 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2008-11-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121598666","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, less attention has been paid to the development method of Web service. In this paper, a pattern oriented service development approach (POSE) is presented. Patterns are used as the means to express the results of different development phases, so that the services can be organized and retrieved easily. The business model is constructed explicitly, thus the gap between business goal and services is bridged by the component relationships and the compositions of them. The service maintainer profits from the trace ability because the impact of requirement or design modifications can be better assessed. The patterns support to integrate services of varying levels of granularity.","PeriodicalId":218182,"journal":{"name":"2008 International Seminar on Future Information Technology and Management Engineering","volume":"17 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2008-11-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121953252","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The formal syntax and semantics, Process Algebra for WS-CDL (PA4WS), are proposed to describe WS-CDL using service channel and session channel. Particularly, The notation of WorkUnit is a reusable principle which plays an important role in WS-CDL. The WorkUnit of WS-CDL is modeled in PA4WS. To model the composition of WS-CDL, the patterns of WS-CDL interaction including interaction based information alignment (IBIA) and asynchronous interactions are depicted. This is one of the first few studies that have explicitly modeled and empirically tested the linkage between knowledge management (KM) and firm performance in a developing country context. Based on a postal survey, 171 usable questionnaires are returned from firms under Chinapsilas transitional background. Using structural equation modeling (SEM), the moderating effect of market orientation (MO) on the relationship between KM and firm performance is investigated. The research results indicate that KM can positively and significantly affect performance. Meanwhile, MO has positive and significant interaction effect with KM on firm performance. Because there is little written on the use of MO as a moderator to explore the impact of KM on firm performance, this paper provides a basis for future studies. The implications and limitations are also discussed.","PeriodicalId":218182,"journal":{"name":"2008 International Seminar on Future Information Technology and Management Engineering","volume":"98 1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2008-11-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127430784","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Most of those existing approaches assume that data instances in user feedbacks are binary labeled. This paper presents a novel incremental learning approach that learns drifting user interests from numerically labeled feedbacks instead of binary labeled ones. The approach models user interests as a set of probabilistic concepts, considers numerical instance labels as probabilities that the user likes those instances, and uses feedbacks to update user interest models incrementally. Experimental results on different learning tasks show that the approach outperforms existing approaches in numerically labeled feedback environment.","PeriodicalId":218182,"journal":{"name":"2008 International Seminar on Future Information Technology and Management Engineering","volume":"38 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2008-11-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127498080","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
