Plenty of projects, great interest from teachers and students is a foundation for its use at all the forms of education. Despite great effort is education today still mostly traditional - face to face - on all the levels of education. What is the cause of this state? Is it because information-communication technologies do not fulfil the needs that are expected from education or because education does not need to use all the possibilities of information-communication technologies? By creation of freely available software solution now it is easy to access hundreds of videos stored in Videoserver archive using mobile phone. Paper presents Videoserver as a complex platform with extended functionality widely used by students of Technical University in Kosice and thousands of other internet users. Article also deals with Videoserver extension to iPhone using dedicated web interface. The project is implemented at the Faculty of Natural Sciences (FPV), Constantine the Philosopher University (UKF) in Nitra. The first and the main objective of this project is to upgrade the education at the FPV UKF in Nitra, adaptation to the needs of academia by improving quality and human resources skills development. The second is the strategic objective of the project that is related to the global objective of operational program through their specific objectives and activities that specifically contribute to increase the quality of the key responsibilities of project participants. The authors of this article participate on by solving and have a several positions in this project. One of the author's tasks is to develop educational materials and their subsequent implementation into the LMS Moodle system. To the attractiveness of materials contributes not only the support of multimedia such as videos, support programs, applications that students can run during a study, but also the LMS Moodle that supports course personalization for student. We expect that such adapted materials should have a direct impact on students' knowledge, thanks to which thus acquired knowledge should be longer-lasting. In the first part the author describes interactive elements that are used in the courses Arithmetic and Whole, Rational and Real Numbers. The interactive elements help students to master the most difficult parts from the content of the subjects. The implementation of e-learning is a complex process that requires great effort of particularly pedagogical workers. From a three year monitoring of various degrees of e-learning implementation it followed that there had been slight worsening of overall average marks and the increase in number of repetitions necessary for passing the examination. Women achieved better study results than men. There were found out the differences between achieved study results of students and the number of repetition attempts with single pedagogues. The useful technical standards require a long-term strategic cooperation between academia and industry, improving efficiency in the exchange of knowledge and the dissemination of new technologies. One of the main results is a higher competitiveness in particular small and medium-sized enterprise. This is especially true in the fast developing domain, field of services and technologies for electronic communications.
