This kind of system manages large volumes of data and supports Spatial On-Line Analytical Processing (SOLAP) queries. The use of NoSQL databases in the construction of GDW is still an unexplored topic, even though NoSQL databases present good performance and high scalability with low-cost hardware. In this context, we seek to identify the level of redundancy of geospatial data in Document-Oriented GDW (DGDW) that reduces the storage cost and increases the performance of SOLAP queries. Using the MongoDB database, we exhaustively define and investigate nine DGDW schemas, which have different levels of geospatial data redundancy in their dimensions. We performed an experimental evaluation of these schemas in a cluster structure, to analyze the data volume and the runtime of seven queries which simulate SOLAP operations in geospatial fields with different levels of redundancy and selectivity. Our experimental results indicate that the normalization of low-selectivity geospatial fields and the denormalization of high-selectivity geospatial fields are good strategies to reduce the storage cost and improve the performance of SOLAP queries. The results of our experimental evaluation are an important contribution because they can be used as a guide for construction of DGDW.","PeriodicalId":193238,"journal":{"name":"2019 IEEE 21st Conference on Business Informatics (CBI)","volume":"10 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129684927","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

While the organism activates resources through stress and thus, allows for handling demanding situations, it is important to recover in order to regain balance. Therefore, permanent stress can harm performance and is often accompanied by health problems like back pain, depression, or burnout. As smart devices like smartphones are widely used and have numerous sensors integrated, they enable IT-support for personal stress management in everyday life. We propose a framework demonstrating dimensions relevant to an IT-support based on the basic pillars of stress emergence together with measures for coping. By proposing to use a combination of automatic measurements with answers from psychology questionnaires, we intend to strengthen early stress prevention as well as tailored recommendations for stress management with a higher chance of being adopted. We complement the framework with results from an online survey. The results suggest that self-assessments on stress-relevant topics would be quite accepted. In contrast, the participants seemed skeptical about receiving recommendations for stress management.","PeriodicalId":193238,"journal":{"name":"2019 IEEE 21st Conference on Business Informatics (CBI)","volume":"194 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134234411","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
