Miyajima","doi":"10.1299/JSMEMECJ.2020.S04204","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.1299/JSMEMECJ.2020.S04204","url":null,"abstract":"近年,富山県の伝統工芸品の一つである高岡銅器の発色技法を用いた銅製品をエレクトリックギターの部品の 一部として使用する試みが行われている.この試みではギターのボディが,弦を弾くときに使用されるピック で傷がつくことを防ぐために取り付けられているピックガード(以下,PG)と呼ばれる部品を,一般的に多用され ているプラスティック(樹脂)製から銅製に変更した.この変更の主目的は,意匠面・装飾面で従来のギターに対し て変化を与えて差別化を図ることであるが,これらに加えて音色・発音特性の面でも従来のものと差異が生じた .本報告ではこの要因をさらに調べるため,銅製ピックガードの表面観察と組成調査を行った.また,PG表面 と弦を巻くペグの振動加速度と弦から発生する音の同時計測を行い,拡張型 POD解析を用いて考察した. 図 1 に対象としたエレクトリックギターを示す.また,図 2 に走査型電子顕微鏡を用いて PG 表面を観察し た結果を示す.表面観察や組成調査・元素分析の結果,着色を施した銅製 PGは銅製の板の表面に 10 m程度の 薄い着色層が形成されていることが明らかとなった.一方,着色層の下の銅板には着色後も組成面や重量の面で 大きな変化は見られなかった.また,既報に倣い,PG表面の振動加速度などの計測を行った結果,同一の力 で弦を弾いた際の各計測位置に発生する振動加速度の大きさが樹脂製と銅製で異なっており,特に 3 弦,6 弦を 弾いた際の差異が顕著であった.さらに,拡張型 POD 解析による振動モード解析の結果,PG の振動モードの うち,主となる第 1振動モードの振動エネルギが全体の振動エネルギに対して占める割合は樹脂製と銅製で大き な差異は見られず 80%程度の高いものとなった.しかし,第 1振動モードで発生する振動の周波数および各周波 数の振動の大きさには差異が見られ,銅製 PG を用いることで弦の振動の固有振動数およびその倍数の振動数の 振動の大きさが樹脂製 PG に比べて大きくなることが確認された.このため,この第 1 モードの振動の大きさの 差異,すなわち振動の周波数特性の差異により銅製 PGを用いたギターの発音特性が変化したものと考えられる.","PeriodicalId":187504,"journal":{"name":"The Proceedings of Mechanical Engineering Congress, Japan","volume":"88 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123020131","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
