Almost all students are active in using gadgets and exposed to social media platforms, making them vulnerable to cyberbullying. This study determined the factors associated with cyberbullying involvement of students of Northwestern University. It specifically answered the demographic profile of students, perceived factors influencing students' involvement in cyberbullying, its effects, and their coping mechanisms as the basis of coming up with Information-Education-Communication material. A quantitative-descriptive method was used using IPO. A survey questionnaire was used and distributed online using Google forms. There were 351 participants from different colleges. Frequency, percentage, and weighted mean are used to analyze the data. Findings revealed that Medium and school are the most significant factors influencing students' involvement in cyberbullying. The perceived effects of cyberbullying provide a risk to mental and physical health, lack of confidentiality or privacy, and connection to real life. It also generates mood, sleep, eating habits, or low self-esteem. Being with peers, understanding one's behavior, and focusing on studies are dominant coping mechanisms. Since this study is limited only to college students in private institutions, it offers future researchers to investigate the perception of students in public institutions. Further, researchers may also study parents' perceptions of cyberbullying since they play a vital role in protecting their children in this critical issue. This study on cyberbullying was conducted during the pandemic when students were exposed to technology and social media involving college students in a private institution.","PeriodicalId":186902,"journal":{"name":"Applied Quantitative Analysis","volume":"127 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-08-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122136315","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The research used partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) and deployed a questionnaire attuned to the awareness and attitudes of business students towards cryptocurrencies and readiness and compatibility of use to universities and colleges in Ilocos Norte. The output of the investigation revealed that awareness of business students are not correlated to readiness of universities and colleges which means that even though students understand cryptocurrencies, it is not an assurance that universities and colleges are ready to accept it as medium of exchange. The existence of cultural diversity also contributes to the level of employee job satisfaction. Then the implementation of organizational commitment is also essential to increase employee satisfaction at work. This study deals with the antecedents and consequences of employee work satisfaction, including transformational leadership, culture diversity, and organizational commitment as antecedents and organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) and employee performance as a consequence. The research instrument used a questionnaire distributed to 280 employees who worked in cigarette factories and tapioca flour factories in Pematangsiantar City. For data analysis, this research uses the Smart PLS application with the PLS-SEM approach oriented. This research concludes that transformational leadership and culture diversity has a significant impact on work satisfaction. On the other hand, the results of this research also conclude that organizational commitment does not significantly impact work satisfaction. Furthermore, this research also confirms that work satisfaction significantly affects organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) and employee performance. Then this study was only carried out in one city so that no specific data comparison could be obtained and only focused on the use of transformational leadership variables, culture diversity, work satisfaction, organizational citizenship behavior, and employee performance. The novelty presented from this research explains that although most employees have different cultural backgrounds if supported by a fair and wise application of transformational leadership, it will encourage job satisfaction.","PeriodicalId":186902,"journal":{"name":"Applied Quantitative Analysis","volume":"3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121215721","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Therefore, we require the use of human capital performance as a benchmark for organizations and companies to achieve the vision and mission together. Later, the benchmark will serve as a basis for policymaking on the future maintenance and improvement of human capital performance. This research aims to find out the stimulants that affect the human capital performance of private employees. The quantitative causality approach is used in this study to answer the formulation of research problems and research hypotheses. Next, the researcher tested the hypothesis using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on a variant called Partial Least Square (PLS) and the SmartPLS version 3.0 application as a tool to analyze it. The results of this research conclude that six hypotheses that examine the direct effect of self-leadership, organizational justice, and work environment on work satisfaction obtain positive and significant results. Then self-leadership, teamwork management, and work satisfaction on human capital performance also obtained positive and significant results. In addition, the results of this research also confirm the positive and significant mediating effect of work satisfaction on the indirect impact of self-leadership, organizational justice, and work environment on human capital performance. For further research, the author recommends further researchers develop variables that are suspected to be the main predictors to encourage work satisfaction and human capital performance to provide complete recommendations regarding the development of human resource performance, especially for millennial workers. This study presents a research model related to human capital performance regarding self-leadership, teamwork management, and work satisfaction and the contribution of self-leadership, organizational justice, and work environment to work satisfaction.","PeriodicalId":186902,"journal":{"name":"Applied Quantitative Analysis","volume":"34 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117190463","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The study's participants were students from Ilocos Norte's seven main universities and colleges, who were chosen via a convenience sample approach. The study used a quantitative research design and an informal research technique to determine the association between students' views regarding online education and their readiness to learn. Using linear regression, the findings revealed a positive relationship between the attitudes and learners’ readiness towards online education Moreover, concerning the moderating effect of the demographic profile, using moderation analysis by Jamovi, the results was moderating effect of year level to the relationship of the two variables. This study answered the research gap of trying to find answer on the question whether there is a relationship between students’ attitudes towards online education and their readiness. Students with positive attitude towards online education are more prepared and ready than learners’ who have negative behavior towards online education. The research also included implications, findings, and suggestions.","PeriodicalId":186902,"journal":{"name":"Applied Quantitative Analysis","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130441447","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

As reported by IMF, the Indonesian banking industry showed such a remarkable stability level, facing negative shocks. However, an important question persists: whether Indonesian domestic banking sectors are truly stable or the foreign-owned banks are the ones that give a more significant share of stability contribution. Hence, this paper investigates the stability level using the Z-score modification model and assesses the main constituents that impart the stability levels of foreign and domestic banks by applying VECM of micro-prudential and macroeconomics indicators. The research is based on the aggregate data of Indonesian foreign and domestic banks from the year 2005 to 2015. The result then shows that the grey zone bridled the domestic banking sector in Indonesia, a high alert partial safe zone, due to its incommensurate loan control, inefficiency in generating profitability and liquidity from assets, and lack of capital buffers presence. Nevertheless, the findings also reveal that neither domestic nor foreign banks in Indonesia were completely safe against credit risk.","PeriodicalId":186902,"journal":{"name":"Applied Quantitative Analysis","volume":"5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126152075","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Supporting the role of skilled and expert human resources, optimal job satisfaction is needed for employees to encourage increased performance. The aim of this study is to determine the predictors that affect the job satisfaction of millennial workers in Pematangsiantar City. This research instrument used a questionnaire distributed to 120 respondents who worked in companies and banks. Next, the researcher tested the hypothesis using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on a variant called Partial Least Square (PLS) and the SmartPLS version 3.0 application as a tool to analyze it. The results of this study concluded that five hypotheses were accepted, and 1 hypothesis was rejected. The rejected hypothesis is that organizational justice has no significant effect on work satisfaction. Furthermore, significant results were obtained for the effect of organizational climate, organizational commitment, reward, and work environment on work satisfaction. Then, for the effect of work satisfaction on employee performance, significant results were obtained. For further research, the author recommends researchers develop variables that are suspected to be the main predictors to encourage job satisfaction and employee performance to provide complete recommendations regarding the development of human resource performance, especially for millennial workers. The novelty of this research is in measuring the level of satisfaction of millennial workers, considering that in 2030-2040 the Indonesia will get a substantial demographic bonus. The proposed model includes elements of organizational climate, organizational commitment, reward, organizational justice, and work environment to determine how much influence it has on the level of satisfaction and its impact on performance.","PeriodicalId":186902,"journal":{"name":"Applied Quantitative Analysis","volume":"21 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130839581","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

According to the official social media of the Commission on Elections (COMELEC), more than 61.8 million voters for the election belonged to the Millennial generation. Using a questionnaire survey, this study measured and correlated the respondents' profile, Candidate's Attribute, Endorsement Method, Platform and Campaign Strategy, and top ten characteristics of the candidates. These variables were all surveyed, tallied, and analyzed. The survey involved 138 college students who participated in the Voter’s Education Program led by COMELEC Taguig. This study reveals that the top three characteristics that the respondents wanted to see in a candidate are: not corrupt, wise, and a Godly person. In the future, this study can be replicated in a larger population of Millennials. It can be a great avenue of change in the political atmosphere of the Philippines. Finally, this study could bring new inspirations to those aspiring to run for public offices.","PeriodicalId":186902,"journal":{"name":"Applied Quantitative Analysis","volume":"42 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-09-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117229399","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
