Therefore the mechanical behaviors of these materials have to be evaluated. In this work four composite materials were investigated (Carbon fiber, Kevlar49 fiber, E-glass fibers and S-glass fibers). A developed model under Ansys Composite Prepost (ACP) has been used to assess the mechanical strength and stiffness of the composite blade to determine the optimal configuration. In this context, parametric studies were carried out, in order to evaluate the fiber orientation and material properties effect on the mechanical behavior of multilayered blade. The results show that the configurations (Carbon fiber, ±35), (Kevlar49 fiber, ±35) and (Kevlar49 fiber, ±45) are the most efficient configurations in terms of resistance to mechanical stress. In the fermentation process, the presence of different natures sugars, mainly glucose and xylose, constitute the main challenge. Co-culture fermentation of lignocellulosic hydrolysates, has been considered a promising technology, which makes it possible to have a bioethanol process with more cost efficiency, and with widespread commercialization. The present work deals with the study of the co-culture fermentation process efficiency, on an industrial scale. A simulation tool of a trial version of SuperPro Designer software was used, to compare between Saccharomyces cerevisiae / Pichia stipitis (A), Escherichia coli strain ALS1008 E. coli strain ZSC113 (B), and S. cerevisiae / E. coli strain ZSC113 (C). These systems allowed fermentation of lignocellulosic hydrolysates obtained using dilute sulfuric acid in pretreatment and hydrolysis steps and characterized by resisting low value of pH, and high concentration of inhibitors. The performance of the studied systems was examined and compared by taking the overall ethanol productivity (Retoh) as the basic comparison parameter. The best results were obtained from the system (A), it gave a Retoh equal to 0.45 (g/L.h). The purpose of this investigation is to examine the effect of the consistency of clay and the variation of straw mass fraction on the thermophysical properties of the composite material clay-straw. Therefore, we studied the thermal behavior of the different samples by mixing clay in two different consistency (liquid and plastic consistency) with different percentages of saturated straw (1, 2, 3, 4 and 5%, respectively). Experimental measurements using flash and state hot plate methods are conducted in order to measure the apparent thermal diffusivity and the apparent thermal conductivity, respectively. Results demonstrated that whatever the clay consistency used, the addition of straw in the clay matrix improve the thermal properties. This renovation consists of insulating external walls and roofs and integrating passive techniques. In this perspective, we modeled the building’s envelope as a multi-zone building in TRNSYS and we adopted a scenario of occupation for this type of building. Many solutions of insulation and integration of passive techniques are proposed and tested. The optimal solution chosen, verified the Moroccan thermal regulation and would cost approximately 154,022.26 MAD (15,640.60 USD) excluding VAT. The mathematical model is carried out assuming a steady state operation and it is based on mass and heat balance, thermodynamics principals and the most recent correlations published in literature. MATLAB programming software and fixed point iterations method are used to resolve the developed equations model. The analysis consider the impact of dry air mass flow rate, feed seawater mass flow rate and its temperature at the humidifier inlet on distilled water mass flow rate, thermal power consumption and specific energy consumption. Navier Stockes and energy equations are modelled using finite volume method. Focus is particularly on analysing the effect of baffles number having disc form placed in alternating rows on thermal stratification and discharge time. The found results revelled that the baffles optimal length in case of (B) configuration yielded the best thermal stratification and minimal discharge time. The solar industry has been developing antisoiling surface coatings to enhance sunrays reflection and mitigate the impacts of soiling. Besides their hydrophobic property, the antisoiling coating should demonstrate a good resistance to the weather and environment strains, namely erosion and corrosion phenomenon. In this work we are interested in the evaluation of the resistance of antisoiling coatings glass mirrors towards erosion degradation. The erosion degradation is simulated in laboratory using a test bench helping to reproduce the environmental conditions of an arid and windy site. Results of laboratory’s simulation show that the optical properties of the antisoiling coating are more degraded than the standard glass mirrors. Soda-lime glass, ceramic laminates and stainless steel have been used as a photovoltaic substrates. SEM, Raman and XRD characterization techniques have been used in order to study the influence of each substrate in CZTSSe crystallization. CdS and i-ZnO/ITO have been deposited in order to complete the photovoltaic devices. The proposed model introduces current and voltage cascade regulation loops based on conventional controllers type PI, which make it possible to regulate DC link voltage, to stabilize the voltage at the point of common coupling (PCC) on the AC side of the inverter, and to maintain the injected current to the grid in phase with the voltage.
