One of the major blockers for a productive session is procrastination. Procrastination is the action of delaying or postponing the work. As a result, the overall productivity of the project or the task will be affected. There is lots of research done on how to increase productivity. In real-time, there are certain professional tools used in practice to monitor productivity. For example, Sprints are in some of the software industries for splitting the work into modules and focusing on each of them, one at a time. However, it is not as flexible as one would like and perhaps a bit too complex as far as the general population is concerned. On the other hand, simple tools using Pomodoro technique, Gamification, etc., are used in some places but one simple technique may not be sufficient. Therefore, we propose a simple generic tool that combines Pomodoro technique, Gamification and Leaderboard to avoid or stop procrastinating of an employee. The Pomodoro Timer technique helps in breaking up a large task into sessions, with each session being followed by a break. ProScore tries to influence users to work productively using the points system, \"Productivity Score\" and by showing their peers, i.e. other users’ productive session details. Next, leaving the task midway of a session penalizes the user by reducing their points, which is called Gamification. Then, Leaderboard is used based on the Points that the employee has scored. This provides users an incentive to top the leaderboard and hence be more productive while doing so. Finally, we also keep track of all the productive sessions so that a user can revisit how they have performed over a course of time.","PeriodicalId":182885,"journal":{"name":"2021 3rd International Conference on Signal Processing and Communication (ICPSC)","volume":"90 6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-05-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115984762","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In medical domain, data analysis primarily helps physicians and researchers in the field of health care where data about the patients is available in the form of text and images. To take the right choice in terms of cure and treatment, the analysis of the previous records of the patients helps most of the time. This proposed Exploratory Data Analysis analyzes the attributes: Nottingham Prognostic Index (NPI), the Overall Survival Status (OSS) and Relapse Free Status (RFS) from the Metabric Breast Cancer dataset to determine the survivability and disease recurrence among different age categories of breast cancer patients for 5-year and 10-years. The EDA is done using the visualization tools of Python and the observations from the data are represented using relevant swarm plots and tabulations. Comparison is also made in terms of NPI to the survival rates with that of the survival rates as reported from the datasets Breast Test Wales and Grimsby Breast Unit.","PeriodicalId":182885,"journal":{"name":"2021 3rd International Conference on Signal Processing and Communication (ICPSC)","volume":"2000 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-05-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123550380","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The only difficulty individuals are facing right now is to find the right content which fits their choice of demands. To solve this problem, recommendation systems have been brought into use. Various filters can be applied to find the content of your desire. The aim of this paper is to predict user’s movie rating along with genre in order to recommend movies. The movies are recommended based on user activity and content to which they potentially give high ratings. User choices and history makes it easier to predict movies and filter out content. Many methods have been used to implement a recommendation system, but in this paper, we have majorly used collaborative filtering for recommending and content-based filtering for sentiment analysis. It will be used to output a list of recommended movies based on an individual’s choice, ratings, likes and past behavioral pattern. In this paper, to improve accuracy and effectiveness, similarity score is used. It is a numerical value that ranges between 0 to 1 and helps to determine how much a group of items are similar to each other. Cosine similarity makes the process effective by quantifying the similarity in the form of angular distance. As compared to Euclidean distance, cosine similarity is used because the precision of the cosine angle and the equi-distance of movies are almost identical.","PeriodicalId":182885,"journal":{"name":"2021 3rd International Conference on Signal Processing and Communication (ICPSC)","volume":"2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-05-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123701853","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

User posts). For processing those unstructured data supervised learning algorithms are preferred which helps for better performance optimization. Few years ago, Deep Learning (DL) techniques (ie. Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) and Recurrent Neural Network (RNN)) models has become popular in healthcare applications by giving the rise in complicacy of the healthcare data. Deep Learning (DL) Techniques provides an effective and efficient model for data analysis by uncovering the masked patterns and find the meaningful information from the significant amount of health data whereas the traditional analytics does not able to produce within a stipulated period. Specifically, Deep Learning (DL) techniques consist of yielding good results by using the models of pattern recognition for social healthcare networks. The study of this paper focuses on by investigating the models of deep learning (DL) techniques applied to classify the text in social media healthcare networks. The main intention of this review provides an insight for training the data and to classify the text by analyzing and extracting the raw input and produce the output with the help of Natural language processing (NLP). Still, campuses lack a system that can provide easy navigation for visually impaired people. Through this paper, we propose a system named \"Edge-eye \", a campus navigation system for visually impaired people. The system requires the user to carry a smart cane. The cane will be attached with a camera device that will be reading the name boards or location identifiers the person comes across. From that location identifier, the system will detect the person’s location as previously set in the system. Once the user provides a destination point, the system will calculate the shortest path to the destination and give an audio output to the user. The major peculiarity of the system is that it is an independent system and works without the aid of the Global Positioning System. The system has been implemented in a controlled environment and found to be convenient for the users.","PeriodicalId":182885,"journal":{"name":"2021 3rd International Conference on Signal Processing and Communication (ICPSC)","volume":"79 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-05-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126270425","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
