The ambient energy exists around us in many different forms including thermal, chemical, electrical and radio frequency (RF). This technique significantly reduces the costs of replacing batteries periodically. Hence, energy harvesting offers various environmental friendly alternative energy sources, which include the vibration, electromagnetic wave, wind energy and solar power. This study will focus on RF energy harvesting that involves the generating of a small amount of the electrical power to drive circuits in wireless communication electronics devices. Recently, wireless \u0000sensor network (WSN) has been a crucial part of our daily life. The importance of WSN can be described by the use of sensors in many devices for home security including light sensors, room thermostat and alarm systems. This paper presents an overview and the progress achieved in RF \u0000energy harvesting, which involves the integration of antenna with rectifying circuit. Different combinations of antenna and rectifier topologies yield diverse results. One of the methods of creating or recreating the service is by using the systematic innovation method, such as TRIZ – the theory of inventive problem solving. TRIZ has a range of powerful tools to solve the problem and the most widely used method is to identify the contradictions in the system, and to use the 40 inventive principles (IPs) for predicting the ideal solution to the contradictions in manufacturing. However, the lack of the contradiction matrix of the 40 IPs in the service context often requires more effort and time in order to find the best principle(s) that may help to overcome a service problem. In this study, the researchers grouped the IPs under five services redesign approaches (SRAs): self-service, direct service, pre-service, bundled service and physical service. The methodology used in order to group these principles was by finding the similarity in text and meaning between the principles and service approaches and each characteristic of the SRAs. It aims to strengthen Oman’s profile as tourist destination and increase the volume of tourist traffic. Tourism business today is both an important and growing industry. It is becoming increasingly sophisticated, as evidenced by the abundance of information available on the web. The travelers today use web technology to plan their travel destination. Improved search engines and the increase in website traffic play an important role in availing competitive advantage among the varied segments and products that comprise the tourism industry. The first step of e-marketing is audience engagement. Surfers frequently switch to different pages in search of complete information, but visual tree has been found to be more effective in audience engagement as it gives comprehensive information at a glance. The surfers will also have better preview and ease in understanding thereby giving them more flexibility in discovering, using and reusing the available information. The main objective of this work is to promote Oman as a travel destination by building strong and attractive Brand 'Destination Oman'. This paper adapts Cluster analysis technique to develop a visual tree structure which describes relationships between different tourism services available in Oman. The developed visual tree structure provides a new marketing approach. It will act as a model and thus events or specific idea selling can be well established and published. The allied agencies, tourism marketing and hospitality industry will be able to bring all ideas and information on one platform. For this purpose, a set of selected web pages describing tourism in Oman have been clustered to design the special visual tree. This work shall be of great importance not only for Oman’s small and mediumsized tourism industry, but for marketing in general.
