This is especially relevant now given the expected risk of adverse outcomes during pregnancy. Neural networks are obtained by themselves, simple elements are built among themselves - formal neurons. Most of the work on neuroinformatics is devoted to the transfer of various algorithms for solving problems in such networks. The core of the ideas used is the idea that neurons can be modeled by fairly simple automata, and the complexity of the brain, the flexibility of its functioning, and other important qualities are determined by the connections between neurons. The purpose of this study: was the development of neural network expert programs as the most important method for researching medical data.\u0000Our study was the result of testing the possibility of using neural networks in obstetrics and gynecology to predict gestational complications and the development of placental insufficiency. The definition of the risk group was carried out on the basis of the model developed by us. A neural network for prediction was developed, the possibility of using this model in obstetrics and gynecology was tested to predict gestational complications in 1024 women with a high risk of developing this pathology. Confirming the effectiveness of the proposed model, based on the data obtained from a prospective study, we calculated the indicators of its sensitivity, specificity, positive and negative predictive value. The result of the study confirms that the trained neural network makes a reliable prediction of the development of gestational complications and the development of insufficiency of the placental complex. As a result of the research, an important conclusion can be drawn that neural networks are the most important method for studying medical data, universal and highly effective, focused on active use in practical medicine.","PeriodicalId":161741,"journal":{"name":"Bulletin \"Biomedicine and sociology\"","volume":"58 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130562360","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Reduced vascular resistance is the cause of diseases - coronary heart disease, atherosclerosis, chronic and acute cerebral circulatory insufficiency, retinopathy, etc. Increasing vascular resistance to free radical, atherosclerotic, toxic, autoimmune and other types of damage is the most urgent task of treatment and prevention of vascular and many other destructive diseases of the central nervous system.\u0000Ceylon cinnamon is widely used in inflammatory processes, has antispasmodic, analgesic, tonic, antiseptic properties, is used for disorders of the gastrointestinal tract, and is also a natural antibiotic, improves memory and concentration. By chemical composition, Ceylon cinnamon contains B vitamins, as well as macro- and microelements: iron, potassium, copper, phosphorus, selenium, sodium, calcium, zinc. The object of the study is a liquid extract of Ceylon cinnamon obtained by extraction using 70% ethyl alcohol.\u0000A method of quantitative determination for proanthocyanidins in a liquid extract of Ceylon cinnamon has been developed, which is based on the acid cleavage of proanthocyanidins in the presence of a catalyst (Fe3+ ions) to anthocyanidins. During the experiment, it was found out that the extract under study has an anti-inflammatory activity superior to the tincture of sabelnik and its angioprotective activity is proved to be significantly higher than the comparison drug \"Blueberry Forte\" produced by the pharmaceutical company \"Evalar\". Using gadgets and listening to loud music leads to the early development of hearing loss. The purpose of the study is to assess the condition of the auditory analyzer in students. The results of our own research allowed us to identify the main factors leading to hearing loss and assess the condition of the auditory analyzer in 20 students aged 20-22 years. Data collection was carried out on the basis of comprehensive surveys, questionnaires and reports. To assess hearing, anamnesis was collected, external examination of the ear, palpation, otoscopy, whispering and colloquial speech, tests with tuning forks, tonal threshold audiometry at four typical frequencies. The results of the study of the condition of the auditory analyzer showed that in 10% of cases sulfur plugs were detected in the external auditory canal, in 5% of cases – the presence of scars and pathological color of the membrane. The study of auditory function revealed that in 20% of cases, whispered speech was detected from a distance of 4 meters, and not from 6. The values of air and bone conduction during the Rinne test in all cases did not reach the standard values, in 20% of cases the test on the right ear was negative, and on the left ear – in 10%. In Federici's experiment, it was revealed that in 15% of cases, bone conduction was higher than air. The results of the Weber test showed that in 45% of cases the sound was shifted and uneven. The data obtained using a high-frequency tuning fork 2048 showed that in 85% of cases, the air conductivity values of both the right and left ears were below normal values. The study of hearing acuity demonstrated that in 15% of cases the values reached the upper limit of the norm. The results of the questionnaire to identify the determining factors showed that 30% of students noticed hearing impairment. More than 50% of students answered that they often listen to loud music and use headphones. Thus, the main risk factors and the first signs of hearing loss in students were identified.","PeriodicalId":161741,"journal":{"name":"Bulletin \"Biomedicine and sociology\"","volume":"34 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115431356","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For a long time, clinical trials in the pediatric population were considered difficult to conduct due to ethical issues, leading to frequent off-label drug use. Off-label drug use remains an important public health problem, especially in children with rare diseases or diseases not responding to standard treatment.\u0000The purpose of the review is to analyze foreign literature sources on the use of biological preparations outside the instructions. The use of drugs outside the instructions (off-label) is a topical issue in the clinical practice of doctors of various specialties, and this is especially in demand in pediatric practice. This is due to the fact that a registered drug may have a successful experience in adults, but at the same time not have official approval for use in children. The need to use drugs outside the instructions for use, as a rule, occurs in patients with severe, chronic, life-threatening pathology.\u0000Further studies analyzing their efficacy, safety, and cost-benefit ratio are needed to expand the use of biological therapy in the pediatric population.","PeriodicalId":161741,"journal":{"name":"Bulletin \"Biomedicine and sociology\"","volume":"59 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125926777","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Feline cardiomyopathies are common, and cardiovascular disease is among the 10 most common causes of death in cats. Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) is a common cause of heart failure, arterial thromboembolism, and sudden death in cats. HCM is a primary myocardial lesion characterized by unexplained left ventricular hypertrophy (LVH) and impaired myocardial relaxation. The cause of primary or idiopathic in cats is unknown, but hereditary pathology probably exists in many cases. The disease is widespread in breeds such as Maine Coon, Persian, Ragdoll, American Shorthair. There are also reports of HCM in littermates and other close relatives of domestic shorthair cats. The method of electrocardiography is quite sensitive in the diagnosis of cardiomyopathies in humans, therefore, the study of ECG signs of HCM in cats, as well as the study of the dynamics of disease progression, the development and improvement of the treatment of this disease is an urgent scientific and practical problem in veterinary medicine, which has not been sufficiently resolved to date. According to the obtained ECG data, it can be concluded that recording in animals of different ages, as well as in animals that have a hereditary predisposition to the development of this disease, can play a key role in diagnosing an early stage of cardiomyopathy. The prevalence of HCM in cats with a predisposition to this disease is much higher than in cats without this genetic predisposition. Further studies involving more cats with HCM, secondary left ventricular hypertrophy, and normal hearts are proposed to better understand the heterogeneity and complexity of this myocardial disease.","PeriodicalId":161741,"journal":{"name":"Bulletin \"Biomedicine and sociology\"","volume":"44 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114330342","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The article provides a clinical observation of coronavirus infection in a kidney transplant recipient.\u0000Patient M., 61 years old, was admitted to the infectious diseases department of the Kursk City Clinical Hospital No. 4 with complaints of high fever, cough, shortness of breath, severe weakness, loss of appetite. When examining a swab from the nose and throat by PCR for SARS-Cov-2 RNA, a positive result was obtained. Based on the clinical picture, computed tomography of the lungs, positive PCR result for SARS-Cov-2 RNA, the diagnosis was made: Coronavirus infection Covid-19 confirmed, moderate form. Bilateral polysegmental pneumonia of moderate severity. RF - 0-I degree (CT-1). Bilateral nephrosclerosis. Condition after kidney transplant (2006). On the fifth day, the patient's condition worsened, which was combined with the progression of lung damage according to CT of the chest to 45% (CT-2), the appearance of signs of acute respiratory distress syndrome. Taking into account the severity of the patient's condition, a consultation was held with a transplantologist and a decision was made to correct immunosuppressive therapy with temporary withdrawal of cyclosporine. Over the next two days, the patient's condition remained stably grave. Subsequently, against the background of complex therapy, including glucocorticosteroids, antibacterial drugs, monoclonal antibodies to the interleukin-6 receptor, positive dynamics was noted in the form of a decrease in shortness of breath, cough, normalization of body temperature, and an increase in SpO2 up to 95%. This was combined with the restoration of disturbed laboratory parameters and the positive dynamics of the inflammatory process in the lungs according to CT scans. The treatment of kidney transplant recipients with Covid-19 has a number of features due to a pronounced suppression of the immune system against the background of immunosuppressive therapy and, as a result, the development of a severe infection, often with impaired graft function. At the same time, despite the severity of the course of the infectious process, the complete abolition of immunosuppressive therapy is not carried out, but its correction is carried out in the form of the exclusion of one of the drugs and a decrease in the dose of other immunosuppressants. Coronavirus infection in patients with a history of organ transplantation justifies the need for timely hospitalization and correction of immunosuppressive therapy to prevent a severe course of the disease and adverse outcomes.","PeriodicalId":161741,"journal":{"name":"Bulletin \"Biomedicine and sociology\"","volume":"95 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130527835","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In some children, DRS have been identified, which are associated with 50% - 70% of the diseases suffered, including seizures and exacerbations of AD. DR was used for computer prediction of the time of prob. In some children, DRS have been identified, which are associated with 50% - 70% of the diseases suffered, including attacks and exacerbations of BA. Forecasts of up to 45% of probable diseases for a digital double of one of the parents or a doubles who is not related were inferior in accuracy to the first method. The prevailing influence on the time of occurrence of acute infectious diseases, as well as exacerbations and attacks of asthma, is exerted by genetically programmed DR. Materials and methods. The experimental part of the research was performed on 50 outbred mature rats (15 females and 15 males exposed to alcohol intoxication for 30 days, and 10 females and 10 males formed a control group). The average age of males was 38 (37.25–39) weeks, females - 40.5 (40-42.5) weeks. The body weight of females was 340 (329.5–345.5) g, males – 469 (464.5–474.25) g. After fixation, the control group animals were injected with intragastrically sterile 0.9% aqueous sodium chloride solution, the rest of the animals – 40% ethanol daily at the rate of 10 ml / kg, so that the animals reached a mild degree of intoxication. Clinical part of the research included 60 young patients: 30 males and 30 females, mean age was 35,97 (34,00-40,00) in females and 37,5 (34,00-41,00) in males, who were admitted to the narcological hospital for treatment of intoxication with diagnosed alcohol use disorder. The serum concentration of VEGF-A was evaluated in the blood serum of the studied patients and animals. Results. Alcohol intoxication caused an increase of serum concentration of VEGF-A in both animals and patients in comparison with control groups. The changes were unidirectional with no significant gender differences. Conclusion. The analysis of the experimental-clinical comparison of alcohol-induced changes in the serum content of VEGF-A indicates the unidirectional nature of the biological (angiogenic) effect in the form of VEGF-A expression under the action of ethanol.
