Unlike previous approaches, our one does not require the knowledge of users’ opinions towards the fixed issue. Once information sources that spread relevant content in a social network are determined as well as their positions, our metric generates a value unambiguously. Changing from null to one, it increases as long as the level of informational separateness is on the rise. We discuss the problem of the metric calculation in the case of the social network Vkontakte. To solve this problem, one need to preprocess, prepare and aggregate data from network packets. The network traffic analysis module aggregates big data from the traffic flow in time series for mathematical analysis. The authors propose a new hierarchical method of data aggregation, which allows to more effectively reducing the data size and speed up the processing of each separate new fragment. The method consists in introducing Parent-Child-Relation links between the analyzed parameters time series and the use of data accumulation and shift based on these relationships. Such events are assumed to be probabilistic and described by stochastic models in classical science. In fact, queueing theory, a great branch of probability theory, handles these problems. At the same time, relatively new theory of deterministic queuing systems, or network calculus, considers queues and delays as being deterministic and operates with regular bounds.
