The mixtures showed no separation or accumulation of the concrete mixture, which enables us to use it in the construction, restoration and structural strengthen at the lowest costs of production. Three concrete mixtures have been produced using three grades of cement (550, 500 and 450-475 kg/m3), using three types of chemical plasticizers, which has been coded as (3500, NN, and S) and two plasticizers ratios (2%, and 2.5%) of the cement weight, verified by the experiments of the fresh properties of the concrete mixture, determination of the cylindrical strength at the age of 28 days, and the measurement of the stress-strain(ϭ, ξ) for the tested samples. It was found that the self-compacting concrete mixture with cement grade (550kg/m3) using the chemical plasticizer (3500) at (2%) ratio of cement weight, gave the best properties at a water/cement (W/C) ratio of (0.39), with relatively high concrete strength.","PeriodicalId":15747,"journal":{"name":"Journal of engineering sciences and information technology","volume":"22 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-03-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"87604604","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The suggested approach consists of three main steps and inspired by the state- of- art that generating image captioning inside small sub- classes categories is better than the unclassified large dataset. In the first one, we have collected a dataset of two international datasets (MS- COCO and Flickr2k) including 10778 images in which 80% is used for training and 20% for validation. In the next step, dataset images have been classified into 11 classes (10 classes of indoor and outdoor categories and one class of \"Null\" category) and fed into a deep learning classifier. The classifier is re- trained again using our classes and learned to classify each image to the corresponding category. At the final step, each classified image is used as input of 11 pre- trained classified image captioning models, and the final captioning sentence is generated. The experiments show that adding the pre- classification step before the image captioning stage improves the performance significantly by (8.15% and 8.44%) and (12.7407% and 16.7048%) for Top- 1 and Top- 5 of English and Arabic systems respectively. These problems are summed up in the excessive glare of these facades, raising the temperature in the external areas, and the effect of these facades by dust and storms that pass through the State of Kuwait, leaving a bad impact on them that loses their aesthetic value. I favored this research paper. To determine the extent to which these facades are suitable for the Kuwaiti climate, as there are towers with high-rise glass facades that occupy international ranks in terms of the elegance of the design and the aesthetics of the building. In the research, I wondered whether the process of transferring the use of these facades to our country was carried out without studying the climatic conditions of these countries. Or are there design errors in transportation, or is it a change in the climate, or are these facades suitable for the hot climate with some modifications to suit the climate? And I noticed through the research that most of the research tended to study the modern uses of facade glass in terms of providing comfort to the user and reducing energy. Through its content, the research dealt with a case study of some existing models of towers with glass facades in Kuwait, and conducting analyzes of them and studying the research related to them.","PeriodicalId":15747,"journal":{"name":"Journal of engineering sciences and information technology","volume":"16 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-03-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"75518545","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These networks have a very big size and a large number of parameters which distributed in the deep layers, especially in the last layers that responsible for classification, the values of the parameters are modified at each stage of network training, which consume memory too much, and its need for a very large memory space. In this research we work to reduce the number of parameters through using lightweight Convolution Neural Network (LWCNN), we choose Alex Net network in our research, but we made some modification on it, we decrease the number of filters in convolution layer, and we replace the last layers in the network with one of the most important types of Recurrent Neural Network (RNN). We use each of Long Short Term Memory (LSTM), and Gated Recurrent Unit (GRU). The work was tested during the research period on a dataset containing 960(videos) for normal children and children with autism spectrum, which were taken in Center for psychosocial support for people with special needs. This development coincided with the trend of towards developing and discovering new building materials that meet the aspirations and needs of those interested across all engineering fields. One of the most important building materials currently being developed is carbon concrete, in which carbon is used for reinforcement instead of steel, which has been the material in use until today. Due to the many advantages of using carbon concrete whether in building new structures or in repairing, strengthening and consolidation of existing buildings, this innovative material will replace conventional reinforced concrete in the near future. This study aims to shed light on carbon concrete and present the latest findings of scientific research on this material and its production and use techniques, whether in modern buildings under construction or in existing buildings for the purpose of repair and rehabilitation. It also aims in its experimental part to study the effects of reinforcement using carbon concrete on the behavior of implemented concrete elements (for example, column elements) by changing many parameters. This research paper presents the characteristics and components of carbon concrete, its manufacturing methods and areas of use, in addition to the advantages and disadvantages of the new carbon concrete through a brief overview in order to introduce this creative building material in the Arab sector and encourage its use as an alternative to reinforced concrete. However, there is still an urgent need for scientific research into the details of carbon concrete. Aside from being the second most abundant polymer in nature, it is a major by- product of pulping, paper and other forestry- based industries with about 70 million tons per year. Due to it being highly biologically recalcitrant, lignin is underutilized and considered a waste product that is solely incinerated for power generation. Establishment of a market for lignin- based, value- added chemicals was a necessity. Because of its renewable nature, availability, and richness in phenolic component, however, it is considered as an attractive alternative for antioxidant activity. In our research, all types of extracted lignin exhibited a value ranging from 2.21 to 11.47 on the AAI assay suggesting high antioxidant activity. Furthermore, special chemical structures such as hydrogen atoms, double bonds between side chain carbons, as well as the presence of methoxyl groups can increase antioxidant activity by 2- 3 folds via means of radical scavenging. Finally, lignin extracted at higher temperature (~95C and greater) exhibited higher ORAC values compared to lignin extracted at lower temperature; ORAC values of 1072.32 to 3119.68 versus 1741.72 to 1745.11, respectively.
