Information technologies affect all areas of the educational process. The view of presentation and provision of information is changing. Likewise, the way of communication between students and teachers is changing. The teacher gets into a position where he is no longer the main source of information. The student, on the other hand, is a source of influence on environmental changes that correspond to his current knowledge and abilities. All this affects the requirements for a modern teaching system. Automating teaching using intelligent information technologies is becoming a complex process. To ensure the quality of this process, it is necessary to employ many specialists from various fields. The overall optimization task determined during the teaching process contains many sub-tasks. These tasks combine various scientific branches, information technologies and experts necessary for improving the quality of the education process. The introduction of intelligent teaching systems increases the quality of education. The quality of education is influenced by the integration of various processes taking place in the teaching process. The work deals with different perspectives on education systems at the same time. It describes the basic characteristics of the teaching process using information technologies. At the same time, trends in the development of intelligent educational systems show the main requirements for intelligent educational systems.","PeriodicalId":151344,"journal":{"name":"2022 20th International Conference on Emerging eLearning Technologies and Applications (ICETA)","volume":"21 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132961982","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It often happens that in the event of an accident, it is only at the accident scene that the emergency services find out the actual state of the accident. Many times, before arriving at the accident site, they do not even know how many people were in the vehicle at the time of the accident, what the speed of impact was, how many times and whether the vehicle overturned at all and other essential parameters. In this paper, we propose a solution for accident detection by using a Raspberry Pi 4B+ microcomputer with PiCAN 3 board, which is connected to the vehicle Controller Area Network (CAN bus) via the OBD-II port. An Arduino microcontroller board is included to operate an accelerometer to measure the acceleration and inclination of the vehicle. Data collected from the vehicle are transmitted to a mobile application via Bluetooth low energy (BLE) technology, which collects and evaluates the data about a possible accident. This data is sent to the emergency center server, stored in the MongoDB database and the severity of the accident is evaluated. Finally, according to the received data, an appropriate number of emergency vehicles might be dispatched to the scene of the accident.","PeriodicalId":151344,"journal":{"name":"2022 20th International Conference on Emerging eLearning Technologies and Applications (ICETA)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128200093","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

At the present time, when universities commonly use the form of distance and mixed education, this method places the student at the center of the entire educational system and among all other components related to this system. Supporting the development of skills, competencies, critical thinking, communication, and expressing ideas and concepts naturally, in a free form, stimulate the student. The motivation of individuals has a great influence on education and even on learning itself. These information technologies can implicitly greatly enhance motivation and also education through innovative teaching, learning, and assessment technologies. Motivation is increased through interactivity, dynamics, and effects provided by information technology. Virtual reality (VR) is the most interactive of these technologies. The contribution is devoted to the use of virtual reality in the educational process, where the basis of the use of virtual reality is the effort to display spatial models and scenes as faithfully as possible, their manipulation, the creation of the real world, a certain part of it with all its regularities and rules, movement in three-dimensional space and that all in real-time. In doing so, basic procedures from the field of computer graphics are used.","PeriodicalId":151344,"journal":{"name":"2022 20th International Conference on Emerging eLearning Technologies and Applications (ICETA)","volume":"53 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131367739","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The student can design the subject himself. Afterward, he can consult with the selected trainer or view the list of the issues listed by the trainers in electronic form, which is a great advantage for students who are unsure which way to go. Thanks to this offer, students can find topics that interest them, and they might not be able to come up with such suggestions on their own. In this article, we will focus on the design and implementation of a module that will provide a space for submitting these proposals and querying them in a modular information system environment. A simple overview of the currently proposed assignments views the subject assigner, in which students will then be able to express their interest. The assignor will have the opportunity to view these candidates for particular topics in a list and, after consultation, assign the given proposal to a specific student.","PeriodicalId":151344,"journal":{"name":"2022 20th International Conference on Emerging eLearning Technologies and Applications (ICETA)","volume":"23 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123552838","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The main contribution focuses on biometric data acquired from handwriting using the pioneering Crayonic KeyVault device, which has a built-in gyroscope, accelerometer, and pressure sensor. Thanks to these sensors, this device can record the movements of the hands while handwriting the digits based on the prompts of the device itself. This data in raw format was sampled and then normalized and parameterized. The time-sampled data were visualized and the intrapersonal similarity was observed from multiple typing attempts of the same participant, and the interpersonal variability when the same number was written from different participants. The data was then divided into a test and a training set. The training set was used to train the machine learning models and the accuracy was verified with the test set. The 91.6% accuracy of the person model identification on the test set was achieved.","PeriodicalId":151344,"journal":{"name":"2022 20th International Conference on Emerging eLearning Technologies and Applications (ICETA)","volume":"174 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124766110","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
