The aim of the study was to determine the risk factors that influence the incidence of type 2 diabetes mellitus at the Sultan Iskandar Muda Hospital, Nagan Raya Regency. The method used is quantitative with a cross-sectional research design. The sample in the study was 77 people using a purposive sampling technique. The research instrument uses a questionnaire sheet. The research analysis used univariate and bivariate analysis with the chi square test. The results of the study based on bivariate analysis found that there was a relationship between age (p-value=0.000), hypertension status (p-value=0.043), obesity status (p-value=0.019), consumption of risky foods: sweet foods (p-value= 0.039), sweet drinks (p-value=0.003), fatty/cholesterol foods (p-value=0.002), seasonings (p-value=0.016), fast food (p-value=0.002) , physical activity (p-value=0.023), and there was no relationship between gender (p-value=0.102), family history (p-value=0.364) and the incidence of type 2 diabetes mellitus. More than 94% of the world's student population has been affected by the closure of schools, institutions, and other learning venues. Because of this, our entire way of life has been drastically altered. Policy decisions that limit people's freedom of movement and separate them from their communities have disrupted long-standing methods of teaching and learning. There are several new standard operating procedures that must be implemented before schools can reopen after restrictions have been lifted. Many scholars have quickly disseminated their findings on various forms of instruction since the COVID-19 epidemic. Face-to-face instruction has been phased out by a number of educational institutions. Some worry that the 2020–2021 school years will be lost forever. It is urgent that new approaches to teaching and testing be developed and put into practice. The COVID-19 epidemic has given us the chance to lay the groundwork for the widespread use of online education. This study used a correlational quantitative research design. A questionnaire of Google forms was used as a data collection technique. LIPI-UNESCO/ISDR was a parameter scale for preparedness variables, and HARS (Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale) for anxiety variables. The total number of respondents was 74, and a random sampling technique and Slovin's formula were used to select the sample for this study. Data sources are secondary data and primary data. Descriptive statistics, univariate analysis, and Pearson product-moment were used for analyzing the data. The disaster preparedness in Lamkleng was in the almost ready category with an index of 63, and the community's anxiety level was 85.1% and in the serious category, and there was a relationship between disaster preparedness and anxiety.","PeriodicalId":144739,"journal":{"name":"MORFAI JOURNAL","volume":"58 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128561267","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The high rate of cases was 93 people who experienced measles in children in the child inpatient room at Subulussalam City Hospital. Measles is a paramyxoviridae group that enters the human body and then the virus will settle, multiply and can cause measles in children. Factors related to the incidence of measles in children are not immunized against measles, unhealthy homes, lack of mother's knowledge. This research was conducted aiming to analyze the factors related to the characteristics of the mother with the incidence of measles in children at Subulussalam City Hospital. This research method uses a quantitative descriptive analytic method with a cross sectional design through interview techniques using a questionnaire with 40 respondents. Based on the results of the independent variables that the age of the mother with the incidence of measles produces a P-value (0.017), education P-value (0.071), knowledge P-value (0.071), income P-value (0.896). The conclusion from the results the researchers have done at Subulussalam City Hospital can conclude that from the results of the P-value below <0.05 which is significant indicating that there is a relationship between several variables of maternal characteristics and the incidence of measles in children who have been tested based on univariate analysis and bivariate analysis .","PeriodicalId":144739,"journal":{"name":"MORFAI JOURNAL","volume":"114 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134420021","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
