Aguili","doi":"10.1109/IINTEC.2018.8695270","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.1109/IINTEC.2018.8695270","url":null,"abstract":"In this work, we have proposed an approach based on a passive microwave detector to help solve the problem of monitoring, in real time, the quality of the engine oil of a fleet of vehicles. When the complete wear of the engine oil is detected, an information appears indicating the precise moment of the emptying, of the vehicle in question. The proposed detector is simple to make and inexpensive, it is a coaxial line open at its end. Its operating principle is based on the extraction of the relative permittivity of the engine oil from the resonant frequency of the coaxial line. This resonance frequency varies with the wear of the engine oil. Experimental results and simulations have shown the effectiveness of this approach for the traceability of vehicle engine oil aging. However, finally synthesizing them to efficient implementations on heterogeneous hardware platforms is still a difficult task. The open computing language (OpenCL) emerged as a common hardware abstraction for programming heterogeneous hardware devices supported by many hardware vendors. In this paper, we present a model-based synthesis framework which logically incorporates OpenCL as an operating system (OS) for synthesizing DPNs to software for parallel heterogeneous implementations. In general, the state of the art frameworks for DPN synthesis incorporate static analysis and scheduling, but are limited to static DPNs, and they only allow static mappings from models to platforms. In contrast, our framework employs a more generalized data dependent and actor-based dataflow model, and allows dynamic mappings from actors to platforms. A novel development of the WCIP method is proposed that considerate the angular variance by using via holes with more important radius. These via holes delimit the guide, in which the modes will appear. This system is based on wireless underground sensor networks. First, we start with determining an optimal location of leak control points in the water distribution network especially in areas which are difficult to control. Then, we move to the development of a distributed algorithm to detect and locate in real time the small and the large leaks in the water distribution system. This algorithm is accompanied by a data aggregation method which minimizes the amount of transmitted information and avoids false alarms. The antenna was designed and simulated numerically by using the CST software within the frequency range 0.1–3.0 THz. It is found that the antenna is characterized with a wideband impedance matching which extends from 1.0 to 2.8 THz (|S11|< −10 dB)), high directivity with a maximum value Dmax = 5.61 dBi at 2.05 THz, high gain with a peak Gmax = 4.72 dBi at 2.2 THz, and high efficiency with a maximum ηmax = 81.5 % at 1.38 THz. But its rapid growth has created several security problems, with respect to the transmission and storage of vast amounts of customers data, across an insecure heterogeneous collection of networks.The Internet of Things is therefore creating a unique set of risk and problems that will affect most households. From breaches in confidentiality, which could allow users to be snooped on, through to failures in integrity, which could lead to consumer data being compromised; devices are presenting many security challenges to which consumers are ill equipped to protect themselves from.Moreover, when this is coupled with the heterogeneous nature of the industry, and the interoperable and scalability problems it becomes apparent that the Internet of Things has created an increased attack surface from which security vulnerabilities may be easily exploited.However, it has been conjectured that blockchain may provide a solution to the Internet of Things security and scalability problems.
