Under $mathbb {C}^{eta }$-properness conditions, a semi-widely linear processing is used to derive an online recursive algorithm for the computation of the quaternion signal of interest as well as its mean squared error. The proposed algorithm allows the efficient computation of three and four- dimensional signals with a reduced computational burden. By means of a numerical example, the benefit of our solution with respect to the conventional one is analyzed.","PeriodicalId":142523,"journal":{"name":"2018 10th International Conference on Information Technology and Electrical Engineering (ICITEE)","volume":"14 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130798809","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Recent development in THz technology enables THz radiation for various imaging applications such as remote sensing, biomedical and security detection because it has decent advantages over the old techniques of X-Ray and microwave imaging. For imaging applications, a system must meet the requirement of a high gain or narrow beamwidth radiation to produce a high-resolution spectra output. A high radiation efficiency is also the considered parameter because it will affect the amount of the radiated energy to the target. The matching layer (ML) technique is a common technique to minimize the internal reflections and improve the radiation efficiency performance of the optical based antenna such as lens. In the previous research, we have studied a bow-tie planar antenna combined with Silicon dielectric substrate and extended hemispherical lens for 1 THz resonant frequency. The ML method has also been applied in both single and cascaded technique to increase the radiation efficiency. However, the complexity of the design is one of the main concern because high number of stacked MLs used to achieve maximum radiation efficiency. In this paper, we study the effect of an optimum ML to the lens antenna. An optimum ML has different layer thickness among the lens surface to covers the different angle of incidence. From the simulation results, radiation efficiency can be increased up to 92.06% while the high gain performance can be kept consistent around 32 dB with a narrow beamwidth of below 3°. It shows that our proposed design is suitable for future THz imaging applications.","PeriodicalId":142523,"journal":{"name":"2018 10th International Conference on Information Technology and Electrical Engineering (ICITEE)","volume":"31 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130976555","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The significant effect is that the Doppler spread become much longer than the symbol period. Consequently, the orthogonality among subcarriers on OFDM system will no longer hold and the resulting intercarrier interference (ICI) will decrease system performance, e.g. bit error rate (BER). In this paper, we propose adaptive modulation schemes to maintain BER with three thresholds tested. Unlike the typical scheme that transmits data with serial adaptive modulation, the proposed scheme transmits its data based on the change in the gain channel that is instantaneously attenuated on each subcarrier. The proposed adaptive modulation performance is compared to non-adaptive modulation. The simulation results show that adaptive modulation requires a lower SNR of 18 dB to achieve BER 10-3 compared with QPSK and 16-QAM modulation. In addition, we also observed the increase in system capacity comparison with Doppler variation. Adaptive modulation experienced the largest increase in system capacity that is 59% compared to non-adaptive modulation (BPSK) by applying the lowest frequency doppler normalized with $f_{d}=0.000128$.","PeriodicalId":142523,"journal":{"name":"2018 10th International Conference on Information Technology and Electrical Engineering (ICITEE)","volume":"104 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115216107","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, the list of usability components is not defined consistently in different standards or models. This causes confusion as there are many lists of available usability components. This study aims to determine the usability components on the website. This is done by validating the website usability components by looking at the effect of each attribute on usability using the Generalized Structured Component Analysis (GeSCA) method, and developing the usability component by adding the usability components of ISO/IEC 25023:2016. The data used are 3000 and collected by spreading questionnaire directly. Therefore, behavioral changes that affect culture require serious attention by the organization and personally. One of the steps that can be taken to encourage behavior change according to the target organization is persuasion. Persuade can start by communicating with each other, explaining the benefits and seeing the success of other people’s behavior. The social media as one form of Web 2.0 technology used in communication brings opportunities to be used as a medium of intervention. Web 2.0 technology interventions, represented by social media, aim to increase user engagement in specific processes that affect behavioral change. Technology organization environment (TOE) and Sociotechnological system (STS) are used as perspectives to ensure that Web 2.0 is adopted by the organization and its users so that the stages of the intervention can proceed. This perspective proposes five organizational factor components and six individual factors that can be used to influence the use of Web 2.0 based technologies. The application of persuasive features in on web 2.0 technology is based on the intent and behavior of the targeted changes. This research is about detecting someone’s weight through his photograph. Elliptical tube volume and body surface area are two different methods that are used for this research. Both methods assume human body consists of many small size tubes. For elliptical tube volume, human’s body weight is measured by applying volume’s tube formula. Recently, light emitting diode (LED) lamps have been widely utilized for lighting, replacing the conventional compact-fluorescent (CFL) and incandescent lamps, due to its low-energy consumption. Because LED lamps work with switching procedures, it may produce distortion to the electrical power system. Furthermore, so far there are no rule or technical guidelines in Indonesia on labeling and grouping of the LED lamps. This study firstly aimed at classifying the LED lamps through measuring the level of efficacy and power quality parameters, including power factor (PF) and total harmonic distortion of current (THD-I) generated by LED lamps and grouped it based on efficacy and power quality. A numerous test of 2–13 W LED lamps available in the market was performed, following the procedure of Indonesian national standard (SNI) that adopted IEC 62612:2016. We proposed two types of label that use in energy efficiency marking. We refer the related ministerial regulation to indicate the efficacy level and propose the new procedure to label the power quality level. The results were then grouped for labeling using the number of stars 1, 2, 3 and 4. We found that the efficacy level of the most measured LED lamps (85%) was in the range 63 – 104 lm/W with PF and THD-I of 0.21 – 0.86 and 33%- 189%, respectively.","PeriodicalId":142523,"journal":{"name":"2018 10th International Conference on Information Technology and Electrical Engineering (ICITEE)","volume":"11 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134334095","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Tracking antenna system with auto-tracking capability is the applicable technology which can facilitate the process of channel searching. In a real implementation, the tracking antenna systems need reference parameters which are easily obtained and easily processed on the processors with limited capabilities. The focus of this paper is how to obtain reliable input parameters for the tracking antenna system. Fuzzy Inference system is not used for tracking method but to improve input parameters processing. This paper proposes two possible parameters, among others are the signal indicator and CVBS luminance level. FIS (Fuzzy Inference System) is used as a real-time VQA (Video Quality Assessment) and makes both of parameters as FIS input. The test result shows that both parameters are very feasible to be used as input parameters for tracking antenna system. FIS simulation shows that this algorithm has good performance. This application was already equipped with many security features, but most of these applications saved their chat history in the smartphone database. With so many apps on the internet, recover your chat from the application database is not difficult. Our chat could be recovered using the tools, but most of this application cannot retrieve images with the same quality as what we send in conversation. Steganography using Least Significant Bit (LSB) could embed the message in the picture, but this method is more accessible to detect. One of the techniques that could identify the amount of character inserted using LSB is RS Steganalysis. This paper proposes LSB enhancement using Genetic Algorithm to obscure RS Steganalysis. Genetic Algorithm is used to randomize the embedding character in the pixel so the resulting image (stegoimage) would be hard to analyze. The result showed that the stego-image was difficult to recover or analyze by the general extraction method of Least Significant Bit because Genetic Algorithm has randomly embedded the placement of secret message. The experimental results also demonstrated that the Genetic Algorithm is used to obscure RS Steganalysis while maintaining image quality. Using iteration of the experiment showed fitness value decreasing and get better at 5.855 which only alter 5.3% of 65.536 pixels.
