However, the United Kingdom, a leading economy within the EU, was left the EU on the January of the same year. The new free trade aggrement between UK and Vietnam, known as UKVFTA, was signed with the hope to avoid missing any benefits that the EVFTA had promised. This paper aims to identify and analyze the impact of the two aggrements, EVFTA and UKFTA on Vietnam-EU’s and Vietnam-UK trades under the negative effects of the Covid-19 pandemic. A compehensive analysis of the trade between Vietnam and the two mentioned partners for two year before and two year after the agrrement was made to carry out the positive effects of the contracts. The secondary data were taken from the World Bank, ADB and Vietnam Office of Statistics. The results showed that, the two aggrements successfully brought about higher surpluses for Vietnam trade, despite the fact that the overall of Vietnam trade are mostly deficit during the four examined years. The results would be helpful to evaluate free trade agreements for overcoming the negative impact of the Covid-19 pandemic for Vietnam and other developing countries.","PeriodicalId":14221,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of scientific research and management","volume":"78 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"80056311","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Therefore, for Nigeria to have witnessed an unbroken democracy since 1999 to date, is a joyful moment in the annals of history of Nigeria as a nation. However, despite the unbroken democracy for over 23 years, it calls to question Section 14(2) (b) of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999, which states that the security and welfare of the people shall be the primary purpose of government. This research paper is therefore a comparative quantitative analysis and evaluation based on certain economic indices of the quality of governance of the three successive governments since Nigeria returned to democracy in 1999. We found that the trend of Corruption Perception Index is high and consistent throughout the three administrations of Presidents Obasanjo, Jonathan and Buhari. Furthermore, while Presidents Obasanjo and Jonathan performed relatively well, Buhari’s administration witnessed a nose-dive trend in all the remaining indices putting his administration as the worst performer in terms of the indicators measured.","PeriodicalId":14221,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of scientific research and management","volume":"9 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"90423033","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Competitive advantage for batik craftsmen is an effort to upscale by aligning their positions with corporate ones. Strategies that can be taken as an effort to achieve competitive advantage for batik craftsmen are effectuation strategies and niche marketing, where these strategies explore and exploit internal and external resources. Batik craftsmen, with their limitations, must be smart in dealing with their business in order to survive and be successful. The effectuation strategy teaches to maximize the resources you have to minimize the risk of loss. Creativity, innovation is the key to the effectuation strategy. Meanwhile, niche marketing is a strategy to avoid competing in the general market, but to focus on specific markets with consumers with definite demands. \u0000The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of effectuation strategy and niche marketing on competitive advantage. Research with a quantitative approach, in regression, with data obtained through distributing questionnaires. The research population is batik artisans throughout East Java who are registered in the provincial government database and the sample is calculated using calculator.net. \u0000The results of the study show that there is a positive and significant effect partially between the effectuation strategy on competitive advantage and niche marketing on competitive advantage. While the dominant influence is on niche marketing to competitive advantage. This is because batik is a unique product, so the market is segmented and specialized. So that the niche market is more potential as a market for batik craftsmen.","PeriodicalId":14221,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of scientific research and management","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"89742891","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Elles consistent en des associations que l’individu fait à l’égard d’un objet ou d’un sujet donné. Par exemple, un entrepreneur peut être associé à différents concepts. Certains peuvent considérer qu’il s’agit d’un homme d’action, d’un inventeur alors que d’autres peuvent le voir comme un gestionnaire ou encore quelqu’un qui n’est intéressé que par l’argent. Il en va de même avec l’esprit d’entreprise. L’esprit d’entreprise est une question de mentalité. Il ne s'agit pas seulement de démarrer une entreprise, mais cela peut être perçu comme tel par beaucoup. Franke et Lüthje (2003) ont montré que les motivations sont directement affectées par les caractéristiques spécifiques d'un individu. Par conséquent, l'image de l'homme d'affaires concernant les facteurs affectant le développement de l'entrepreneuriat et les obstacles au démarrage d'une entreprise sont des éléments qui peuvent avoir un impact sur les moteurs et l'attitude générale à l'égard de l'entrepreneuriat. Parmi les seules attitudes et capacités de nature psychologique, il existe un sentiment de peur de l'échec en cas d'engagement. Cette peur de l'échec provient de caractéristiques personnelles et / ou de la société, sans aucun doute, d'une qualité perçue inférieure des opportunités
 D'un autre côté, avoir des opportunités est une condition de créativité et une composante essentielle du processus entrepreneurial. Des opportunités peuvent être créées à l'initiative de l'homme d'affaires ou apparaître à partir de son environnement.
 Dans tous les cas, il y a une construction de la part de l’entrepreneur pour transformer l’idée d’opportunité en projet de création. Cette attitude des opportunités s’effectue de façon sélective : l’un la percevra alors que l’autre l’ignorera. L’attitude dépend aussi du potentiel de l’entrepreneur ou du candidat à la création d’entreprise. Selon qu’il estime disposer des aptitudes et compétences nécessaires à la création, il percevra davantage d’opportunités et les jugera souvent plus favorablement

The position of a particular spot is usually stated in coordinates (2D or 3D) based on a specific coordinate system. Simple methods of altitude measuring have been developed in topographic mapping. This study developed an altitude measurement tool using a BMP180 sensor and DHT22 sensor, with calculation from an artificial neural network (ANN) result, based on the influence of the amount of barometric pressure, temperature, and humidity. Output can be displayed through an LCD and a smartphone application, enabled through Bluetooth. The ANN for obtaining altitude values was trained using temperature, humidity, and barometric pressure inputs from places with known high values. The training was conducted in MATLAB. Afterward, the ANN test program Arduino used normalization, denormalization, activation, weight, and bias components obtained from the selected ANN architecture. The Arduino test program showed high output values similar to those from the ANN test, indicating that the test program result is correct. The test results obtained an average error of 6.36%. The advantage of this tool is that it can perform height calculations quickly and easily. Moreover, the tool can further be developed, as training the ANN in various places with more variations in position, height, weather conditions, or height can yield better results.","PeriodicalId":14221,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of scientific research and management","volume":"27 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"136067081","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The object of this research is Super Indo as one of the biggest markets in Yogyakarta in which people usually used for shopping. It uses the quantitative approach through distributing the questionnaire. The data obtained on 100 samples with the specification of above 17 years old and time frequency more than once a week to purchase in the market. The data processed by using multiple linear regressions. There are four independent variables within this research namely, manageable, flexibility, transaction volume and charge for non-cash payment while the dependent variable is cash usage. As a result, the research shows that all the independent variables have influence simultaneously towards cash usage as the dependent variable, whereas in t test, only two variables affect positive significantly against cash usage, which are transaction volume and no transaction fees. Overall, this research provides important information for the central bank, that although the non-cash payment system has been developed, people-especially in Yogyakarta-still prefer using cash-payment for their daily transaction. The purposed of the methodology is general and can be applied to other region in order to find the differences of transaction payment.","PeriodicalId":14221,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of scientific research and management","volume":"22 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"83724801","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
