However most of the existing works consider either online demands or scheduled demands, which may not fully capture the flexible nature of the demands in certain circumstances, such as the communication demands for a synchronized sensing data transmission in wireless sensor networks which may not require the wireless channels be assigned in a pre-specified time point and could instead be provisioned in a flexible time range. Sliding scheduled traffic model, which allows the starting time of the service provisioning for a demand to slide in a pre-specified time window, instead of a time point, fits in well. Based on this observation, we propose in this paper to model the wireless channel demands for communication with sliding scheduled traffic model to improve the utilization ratio. We presents a mixed integer linear program (MILP) formulation as well as an efficient heuristic algorithm for this optimization problem. Numeric results show that adopting sliding scheduled demand model significantly improves the utilization ratio of wireless channels in dynamic wireless spectrum allocation.","PeriodicalId":129936,"journal":{"name":"2010 International Conference on Management of e-Commerce and e-Government","volume":"55 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-10-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121564022","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Therefore, this paper aims to optimize the concession period in the BOT project by using net present value (NPV). Due to the difficulties in estimating the long-term uncertainties, this paper develops a Monte Carlo simulation model to reveal the relationship between the uncertainties and concession period. At the end, a numerical example is given to provide the optimal concession period.","PeriodicalId":129936,"journal":{"name":"2010 International Conference on Management of e-Commerce and e-Government","volume":"85 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-10-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131711580","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, as the basis of this study, the construction of the query-oriented XML text summarization corpus has not yet received enough attention. In this paper, we introduce our works on constructing this kind of corpus, including the selection of topics and XML elements/documents, construction process and the feature of the constructed corpus. Up to now, the corpus has 25 English query topics, including 422 elements for summarization, and 32 Chinese topics which including 402 elements. Research on the method to strengthen the cooperation between members to achieve win-win result is an important subject in supply chain management. Nevertheless, most studies to date on supply chain pricing have only assumed that the market demand is only influenced by retail price but not in any way by logistics service level. That is why our work is concerned with logistics service and product pricing strategies in supply chain consisting of a manufacturer, a retailer and a TPL provider. Two different models are discussed which are based on Stackelberg games and cooperative game. Comparisons are then made about various outcomes, especially the profits, for all cases. This leads to consider more specifically the cooperation case in which profits are the highest for both the retailer and the manufacturer, and how they should share the extra joint profits achieved by moving to cooperation. We solve this bargain problem using the Nash bargaining model.","PeriodicalId":129936,"journal":{"name":"2010 International Conference on Management of e-Commerce and e-Government","volume":"34 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-10-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116792757","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper, we focus on the factors that influence trust in e sellers. By using an experimental method, we confirm that seller's reputation, information disclosure and online consumer reviews have positive impact on consumer trust. Meanwhile, we found that quality of online consumer reviews (OCR) and information disclosure moderate the relation of seller's reputation and consumer trust. The effect of seller's reputation on consumer trust is greater in information disclosure cases than in no disclosure cases. Compared with lowquality online review cases, the relationship between seller's reputation and consumer is more significant in high-quality online review cases.","PeriodicalId":129936,"journal":{"name":"2010 International Conference on Management of e-Commerce and e-Government","volume":"18 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-10-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115998047","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
