The variants of the acoustic method of measuring the vortex component of the flow velocity that is invariant to changes in the velocity of sound are developed. The ways of implementation of the acoustic method are investigated.","PeriodicalId":129350,"journal":{"name":"2019 12th International Conference on Measurement","volume":"171 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122047101","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Since it may significantly increase the risk of stroke, the early diagnosis is crucial which can be supported by today's quickly developing mobile ECG technology. This paper describes an efficient AF detection method which is suitable for the processing of single-channel ECG signals. The algorithm makes the decision about AF based on the Poincaré plot consisting of RR intervals and the presence of the P wave on the average majority cycle. The Poincaré plot analysis was tested earlier on reference ECG signals from the PhysioNet database resulting in the average sensitivity (Se) of 98.69% and average specificity (Sp) of 99.59%. After improving our method by adding P wave analysis, it was built into the WIWE mobile ECG system produced by Sanatmetal Ltd. During clinical validation 29 AF and 315 non-AF WIWE records were processed (mainly to test Sp), 57 of which were non-AF arrhythmia cases. No false decision occurred regarding the clinical measurements in terms of AF.","PeriodicalId":129350,"journal":{"name":"2019 12th International Conference on Measurement","volume":"47 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128157485","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, the deviations of laser source wavelength from its intended linear scanning in the defined time interval may cause significant degradation of expected spatial resolution. To overcome this problem, we experimentally testify a post-processing method based on suitable resampling of the detected signal. To verify the method, we set up an experimental sensing system with fiber Bragg grating.","PeriodicalId":129350,"journal":{"name":"2019 12th International Conference on Measurement","volume":"65 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131518297","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Web publishing is based on technologies available within LabView package: Data Socket, Remote Panel, Web Service. However, the system can be later upgraded by other technologies too. This is possible due to the modular structure when a pair of modules called GO and DO module is needed for remote operation. The structure simplified the design of new workplaces with keeping software security. The system was evaluated through a questionnaire. A strategy of the addition of a new DO module is presented on an example of a filter response measurement application.","PeriodicalId":129350,"journal":{"name":"2019 12th International Conference on Measurement","volume":"2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115449725","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Complex (relative) permittivity ε== ε’ - jε “was mainly caused by the interfacial polarization mechanism. Complex (relative) permeability µ = µ’ - µ” showed a relaxation type offrequency dispersion, which is due to the natural ferromagnetic resonance phenomenon. The ε and ε raised, and the minimum of return loss (RL)min shifted towards low frequencies with increasing CI content. The results outlined that the fabricated composites may be used to design good and cost-effective electromagnetic interference noise suppressors.","PeriodicalId":129350,"journal":{"name":"2019 12th International Conference on Measurement","volume":"2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128154978","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Uncertainty analysis of the slab model has been done for real measurements conducted on the carbonate stone. The thermophysical parameters were calculated for the case when thermal conductive paste containing silicone oil was not used. The oil penetrates into the porous material and thus changing its properties during the measurement. In this paper we analyzed the quality of the temperature response fit in dependency of heat transfer coefficient and heat capacity of the heat source. The analysis of the sensitivity coefficients and calculated uncertainties of estimated parameters with slab model help to improve the accuracy of parameters estimation. In the fitting procedure we replaced free parameter of heat capacity of the heat source by constant value which was calculated from the material properties of heat source components, e.g. the nickel and Kapton. The fit results obtained by slab model were compared with the data obtained by the cuboid model [1].","PeriodicalId":129350,"journal":{"name":"2019 12th International Conference on Measurement","volume":"118 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132729319","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
