{"title":"Théâtre et empire en Chine : enquêtes de terrain dans « l’espace du peuple » en Chine contemporaine","authors":"Catherine Capdeville‑Zeng","doi":"10.4000/ht.2228","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.4000/ht.2228","url":null,"abstract":"Cet article depeint les liens etroits entre le theâtre chinois de la sphere sociale nommee \u0000 l'espace du peuple et la sphere officielle, a travers des faits rencontres lors d'enquetes de terrain menees en Chine depuis les annees 2000. \u0000La premiere section etudie les legendes de la crea- tion du theâtre entendues dans les coulisses d'une scene d'une petite troupe independante. Elles font apparaitre que le theâtre est bien ne de l'empire et se place sous l'autorite du plus grand empereur Tang erige en divinite officielle. La deuxieme section presente trois troupes professionnelles independantes qui mobilisent des espaces sociaux importants laisses vacants par les troupes officielles, dont beaucoup sont paralysees suite a des difficul- tes financieres et politiques. La troisieme section s'interesse aux rapports entre une troupe d'acteurs \u0000paysans dans un village du Jiangxi produisant un theâtre rituel et la sphere officielle. Les relations entre les acteurs et les dirigeants locaux montrent comment ces derniers s'approprient la pratique theâtrale, la soutiennent et la controlent. \u0000Ces exemples font apparaitre que le theâtre n'est pas autonome de l'Etat-parti.
