It is noted that half of the failures are associated with a potential spark on the collector, which indicates increased armature currents in the electric locomotive power circuit. The given voltage curve of the contact network also indicates that the power circuit is subject to constant current fluctuations. In the model of the power circuit of the 2ES6 electric locomotive, the mechanical component of the drive has been modified. It takes into account the resistance to train movement on one of the difficult sections of the Sverdlovsk Sabik - Sarga railway, as well as the inertia of the rotating parts of the 2ES6 electric locomotive and four-axle freight gondolas. The effect of voltage fluctuations in the contact network on current transients at different values of the maximum excitation voltage has been modelled. It is established that with the increase in the excitation voltage, the amplitudes of the armature current and the excitation current decrease, the duration of exceeding the currents of their limit value decreases. With voltage fluctuations up to 200 V, the armature current and the excitation current in the power circuit of the 2ES6 electric locomotive are in the range of their limit values with the increased value of the maximum excitation voltage of 120 V. The combined recovery process and recovery function are plotted, and the fault flow function is calculated and constructed. Conclusions on the reliability of the considered equipment are drawn on the failure flow function. At the beginning of operation of these compressor units a number of failures occurred related to the run-in period. The manufacturer took into account all cases of incorrect operation and made changes in the design and electrical control circuits, which allowed reducing the probability of failures many times in the future. {"title":"Modeling the choice and satisfaction of passengers on multimodal routes","authors":"S. This is facilitated by the development of the road network (RN), the construction of transport hubs. There arises the problem of modeling the choice of routes and modes of transport for passengers to travel, taking into account transfers and changes of personal and public transport during trips. The solution of this problem is necessary for the purposes of designing route networks, plans for the development of the transport system and managing the load on the road infrastructure. A mathematical model of the choice of the mode of transport by passengers depending on the quality of the route, personal satisfaction and personal experience of the passenger, as well as the satisfaction of neighbors is proposed in [1-4]. However, this model considered only direct transportation from source point A to drain point B and could not take into account transportation by various modes of transport with transfers. This paper presents a new mathematical model that takes into account the multimodality of routes, as well as availability of several sources and drains, which will allow passengers to simulate the choice of modes of transport in individual districts or cities. According to the traffic schedule, the trains are to have rapid acceleration and braking determined by the acceleration. In itself, great acceleration does not cause great inconvenience to passengers. But to provide comfort for passengers, limiting of acceleration build-up is required. At contact-rheostat control traction force is maintained by step change of starting rheostats resistance in accordance with the speed increase. This results in stepped changes of thrust force, respectively, to impulsive loads. At impulsive control of the traction drive there is a possibility of smooth increase of traction motors current value and, therefore, of the traction force. It was proposed to increase the armature current by the linear law with transition to a constant value at the end of the process. However, at the end of the process there is a traction force push similar to an ice slide. The most natural is to increase the thrust force according to the exponential law. For this purpose, an intensity set unit is introduced, which is to change the armature current according to the mentioned law at step-by-step change of the task from the driver controller in arbitrary sequence. In the control unit operating in analog mode, the exponential law is created when charging the condenser the voltage of which is determined by a differential equation and is supplied to the input of the armature current regulator. In the digital control form, a direct solution to the differential equation is impossible because of the constant change in the initial conditions under the action of the driver controller. In order to solve this issue, car manufacturers are upgrading internal combustion engines, designing alternative engine units. This article analyzes various modern engine units, highlights their strengths and weaknesses. Statistical data demonstrating the growth of production and sales of electric and hybrid vehicles in Russia and abroad are presented. Cars equipped with traditional internal combustion engines (ICE) have unique advantages and today make more than 99 % of the global fleet. Based on the analysis, a scheme of a hybrid power plant (HPP) was formed, combining the components of engine units of electric vehicles and internal combustion engines. The main elements of installation and their layout in the car are described. A schematic diagram of transmission is presented, its components are listed and their operation is described. The HPP scheme was developed within the framework of the concept of a motor vehicle corresponding to the trends of modern automotive industry. The analysis of malfunctions of railcars stepping off the tracks of non-public use enabled us to determine that most of the railway cars have damages common for loading and unloading operations. It is possible to ensure the safety of railcars by applying, in particular, digital technologies, including when receiving freight cars from non-public railway tracks. It is noted that for the points of technical transfer of railcars (PTTW) as a subdivision of technical service points (TSP), the main form of internal primary accounting is the book VU-15 («Book of full-scale inspection of railway cars at technical transfer points»), the electronic format of which is only being introduced into the production process. The special significance of the transition to the electronic version of the VU-15 is manifested in enterprises with several PTTW, where railway cars transferred to the access railway through one point can be returned to the railway through other points. Often, the electronic form of the VU-15 greatly limits the capabilities of railcar inspectors when working on the tracks (operational search for data on railcar malfunctions, the possibility of photo and video recording of damage, the use of regulatory and reference information). The solution to these issues can be the use of mobile workstations (MWS) with additional functions for monitoring the safety of railway cars, which allow monitoring the technical condition of the freight cars before they are delivered to the non-public track and returning them to the infrastructure. {"title":"On the relationship of natural oscillation frequencies and critical loads in assessing the rigidity of load-bearing elements of carriage structures","authors":"P. This involves performing verification by calculation methods. The article considers the possibility of determining the critical level of external overpressure on the shell of the tank cauldron on the basis of experimental data on the minimum frequency and shape of natural oscillations. In order to solve this problem, the differential equation of flat cylindrical shells is used. The equation used was proposed by Donnell and has proven itself well in calculation of cylindrical shells, in particular cauldrons of tank cars. The peculiarity of the proposed solution lies in a certain analogy of the mathematical description of the processes of loss of stability and natural oscillations. As a result of transformations of the differential equations under consideration, an expression is obtained that connects the critical level of external overpressure and the natural oscillation frequencies of the objects under consideration. Numerical values of the studied parameters are given, the reliability of which is confirmed by similarity with the data given in previously published sources. Recommendations are given on application of the proposed approach in engineering verification of carriage structure elements stability. In order to support decision-making concerning its development, it is proposed to use a set of strategic management models successfully applied in strategic planning of the sustainable functioning of the Russian economy, including Siberia, the Russian Arctic and the Far East, as well as in JSC «Russian Railways». The adoption of these and other decisions in the improved model of public administration should be based on the array of data on the conditions of economic entities and internal and external factors affecting them. This requires creation of the national public administration platform. The strategic transport infrastructure management platform should become an integral part of it. As a theoretical basis for its construction, it is proposed to use the theory of large transport systems. On the basis of this theory, a design solution for creation of the strategic transport infrastructure management platform based on the above-mentioned set of models and requirements of regulatory documents is proposed. As an example, one of the subprocesses of the design solution is considered - mathematical modeling and forecasting of the consequences of the onset of new events for transport infrastructure based on the theory of large transport systems. At the same time, the state of the infrastructure is formally determined as a result of the interaction (decision of the game) of interested parties under certain mechanisms of public administration.
